I'm writing this review as I just got home from my sugaring appointment…read more I am a loyal customer and have gone to different estheticians for Brazilian sugaring here - at their old Rancho location, the new Fontana location, and my first time here at the new Rancho location. I scheduled a last minute appointment with Claire (my usual esthetician) today. But it turns out she was unavailable and Max was there. I've gotten sugared by her before and wasn't really satisfied with my service as I realized I had a few open cuts / wounds due to the pulling of sensitive, thin skin way down there. So today my service was going well, we were having a great conversation then all of sudden a sugar pull and we both went dead silent for a few minutes. I already knew something went wrong. When we were done I knew I had some cuts down there. When I got home to pee I saw it. My lips looked like it had a big, open, popped pimple in it. And around it was pink and tender, like a cut. This made it difficult to wipe. I would post a picture but due to the area it is at, I am unable to. I would like to speak to a manager regarding this issues because this isn't the first time that's happened to me.

I requested for an appointment online more than a week in advance and received a confirmation text the same day. I received a text to confirm my appointment 2 days prior and then a second text reminder text the day before. I read that if you don't cancel 24 hours in advance then they will charge you the full amount of the service. My appointment was with Illiana and all went well. She made me feel comfortable and it was almost painless. I would come back again. It's a few dollars less expensive if you pay with cash and I happened to have cash on me so I saved a few bucks.

I recommend the lash lift if you're looking for a more natural and subtle look--or if you're just tired of using (and cleaning up) mascara. The facility was pretty clean and the service beds were comfortable. They offer discounts if you're a new client.

I've been to Queen Lash a couple of times and after multiple chances I realized today has to be my…read morelast time going. They are unable to accept fault and talk amongst themselves as if you're not even there when trying to come up with a solution or explain your concerns. This is my third lash lift here. The first time by Angi was perfect and lifted. The second time, it was way too curly so you couldn't see the lift as much and over processed . As soon as I got the mirror, I asked why my lashes turned lighter brown and were frayed at the ends her response was "that's the color of your lashes and you asked for curly." Being that I have worked at a salon with a lash tech, I knew immediately she was wrong. I knew she stepped away and when she came back she realized she took too long and when I asked her if everything was ok she said nothing. I proceeded to paying without making it a problem. I decided to trust them one more time because I loved the first time it was done and checked to see if angi was available, over the phone they said angi was off but that April was available and a great lash tech. I asked them what curl angi did because I like it and then when I got in I asked again and explained that I wanted them very straight back so you could see the length of my lashes, without the ends curling in towards my eyes so you couldn't see the length. I made sure to explain. We did it and she said "so you want more natural curl". I explained again and she said ok as if she understood. She proceeded to giving me a very natural lift that is not what I asked for and not very lifted like I wanted. She proceeded to talking to her coworker and then her boss on the phone as I stood in front of them. As a native Spanish speaker it's not a problem for her to speak her native language but when it affects the customer service you are providing a customer then that is when it becomes a problem. She then told me that's what I asked for after talking to her co-workers and not me. That I said natural curl, when those words never came out of my mouth and without flinching, she then said "everybody heard it, my boss heard it." And kept repeating it over and over to put the blame on me. We get to the front desk and still she is talking mostly to her boss over the phone and not to me. She also offered to do it more curly but that she wasn't sure if it would overprocess it, and me knowing the correct answer to this would be that yes doing it a second time would definitely overprocess my lashes and burn and fray the lashes. She gave me no other options or a discount or a discount the next time. She Puts her boss speaker and proceeds to charging me full price. I ask if there is going to be any discount for not getting what I asked and it was until after I asked that they said ok $10 off. I am very disappointed and will not be coming back. They don't listen to you as a client and they don't value you. The first day I ever came here for lash extensions they even offered to give me a bag and a free brush if I left a positive review and asked me to do it while I was in the store. I liked my lashes in the moment but it felt very pushy.

Please do your research -- reputable salons typically use hard wax because it's gentler and much less painful. I forgot the name of the girl who did my service, but she didn't make me feel comfortable at all. She was very quiet, didn't explain anything, and just pulled the wax without any warning or reassurance. For a first-timer, that made the experience worse. I really wanted to like this place, but based on my experience, I wouldn't come back for waxing services. Hoping they improve their techniques and customer care.

Every time I come in, even when the salon is completely empty, the first thing I'm asked is, "Do you have an appointment?" I genuinely don't understand when walk-ins are actually accepted if an empty salon still requires an appointment. More importantly, I specifically asked for a cleanup. To me, that means removing the excess hair above and below my brows while keeping my existing shape. Instead, my entire shape was changed, including my arch and tails. That is absolutely not what I asked for, and I'm extremely annoyed because eyebrows take time to grow back. There also seemed to be a communication barrier. I had difficulty feeling confident that what I was requesting was fully understood, and unfortunately the end result confirmed that concern. If a client asks for a cleanup, please clarify exactly what they want before significantly changing the shape of their eyebrows. I've been a regular customer, which makes this even more disappointing. I came in expecting my usual cleanup and walked out with brows I did not ask for.
