FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!! As always, I have never been disappointed with VIP Tire! Ive been a customer for 10 years now. And once again, they have come through to help me. First: I drove up, (I did not have an appointment), with a flat front passenger tire. No waiting! I was immediately helped by an extremely courteous young man. While he fixed the tire, (so I could rush to an urgent Dr.s appointment!) he shared with me the likely causes for the tire's repeated 'behavior' of going flat rather quickly. I had thought perhaps I needed to purchase a new tire; happily he said probably this was not the case. Early this morning I went to their website and was able to schedule an appointment to have this tire repaired -- SO VERY EASILY, and (my favorite part) without having to speak to a person! (Being from Silicon Valley, 30+ yrs working on websites, I'm pretty picky, critical.) This website is very well designed, easy to navigate, intuitive, no bugs / hang-ups / errors, clean design. It's (I can't resist saying this!) hitting on all cylinders! Forgive the pun! I was able to secure exactly the day and time I desired. I could have been seen today, if I had wanted that as an option. I loved the wide range of available appointment options. Bottom Line --- it all comes down to the HONESTY and COURTESY (of every employee I've ever encountered) at VIP Tire. This keeps me returning to this company. I know next to nothing about cars. I know where to put in gas, where to insert the key. There, that sums up my knowledge base about a car's mechanisms. But I do know accounting, I do know money: I do know that the same services at my Volvo dealerships in either Bangor or Topsham cost at least twice as much as the prices charged by VIP Tire. I know this to be true, as I called both Volvo dealerships and requested estimates for this repair. Previously, VIP Tire has gone above and beyond to help me out by quickly repairing my older Volvo station wagon -- when the serpentine belt suddenly died. Croaked. Went kaput. (Serpentine belt? I had no idea I had snakes in my car, under the hood! Snakes that enjoy wearing belts, no less. Who knew? Those crazy Swedes!) Apparently that's something of an esoteric, difficult part to locate; especially for an older car -- plus it was the weekend. As an older woman with a disability AND a large Service Dog, I heavily rely on the use of my car, "The BellaMobile." These kind souls moved heaven and earth to help me out over a weekend to fix The BellaMobile. They could easily have taken advantage of me financially, "ripped me off" as they say. But they didn't. There wasn't even a surcharge for work performed over the weekend, or on a rush basis. They're finest kind people in my book! read more

I have used this VIP location exclusively for ALL my automotive needs for my business and personal vehicles for the past 5 years...even after I moved away from the Waterville/Winslow township, I actually travel back for all my tires, services...everything. I do this because of two reasons...(1) my vehicles are ALWAYS fixed or maintained correctly THE FIRST TIME. (2) Their prices and deals are ALWAYS the best with no pressure to "upsell" me or do services that I don't need done. If you pay attention to their frequent specials (especially their tire maintenance program, price matching and rebates) you will leave with every confidence that your vehicle has been correctly serviced and at the lowest price. Lastly, John and his team are professionals and know their business. They remember you and when you walk through the door. As a Registered Maine Guide, my vehicles are my livelihood in the most remote regions of Maine and frequently completely out of contact on roads that eat tires and vehicles. The guys at the Winslow VIP are always so helpful and timely when working on my vehicle. They're trustworthy and knowledgeable. If you're having trouble finding a place you can trust, go to the Winslow VIP. Never have they had any hesitation in bringing me out to the shop if they feel something should be brought to my attention or even I have questions on something. The labor price may be a bit higher than a smaller shop, but it's worth it in the long run because you won't have to keep coming back to fix the same issue. They get the job done right the first time. Another perk is that they know how to work on European cars. I drive an '08 Volvo and most places that I have gone either tell me that they simply don't work on European cars or they do a diagnostic check and end up telling me that they can't figure it and recommend bringing it to a dealership which is crazy expensive. read more

Seriously excellent everything. Pat (our service representative) was incredible and didn't try to oversell anything too expensive. He said what we needed and he was so right. I will continue to go there and recommend it to anyone needing help with any any shake rattle or roll. Our serviceman was very thorough. When he detecteda problem, he brought it straight to our attention and offered us to look even though the problem was unrelated it was awesome to have something shown to me that needs to be fixed but didn't make us feel obligated to have it fixed right then. I came in to have my cars alignment checked and a problem with having continuous low pressure problems with brand new tires that had put on at another VIP. My Winslow VIP was wonderful they were very attentive to the problems I was having they realigned my car and fixed the value stem problem by replacing them at no cost to me. I was more than impressed they did all this for me and more. They went way above and beyond what I had expected for customer service. The manager at store was very knowledgeable, polite, and helped me any way he could. Needless to say I have gone back for all my other vechiles needs and will continue to do so. read more

Pat was my service representative.he is extremely professional. He has always been extremely honest,I have complete trust with him. He has always done the best to get me the best price available. I do not feel like I,m being ripped off with him. Plus He's a fellow veteran ,that shows VIP cares about their employees by hiring veterans. He is definitely a 5 star employee. VIP Winslow, ME: Brought my van in for a tire rotation and a leak in one of my tires. I left my van and they called me within 1/2 hour to let me know they found a screw one tire and they would repair the tire. I also asked for a quote for new tires. Great Service! They get you in and out at a fair price compared to other repair facilities in the area.... Very nice area to wait, and they take the sanitizing common areas seriously, as i saw then wipe and sanitize before and after people left the area. Went in because my brakes seemed to be grabbing and rough when stopping and going down off ramps. They showed me the condition they were in and gave me my options. The car has 118,000 miles so I wasn't surprised that they needed replacing. Fast friendly service and reasonable price. read more
