I guess $600 would be their price About 5 minutes later, I went to my dealer brand's garage, and the garage specialist put on his coat, gloves, repaired the hole, in less than 8 minutes, and pulled out a small nail, also present, but had not made its way through, unlike the first, filled the tire. Because I was out of town, the repair was FREE he told me. I took the spare wheel off, but the repaired one, and I drove back home, 5 hours later. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that my appointment didn't show on the Waterville, Maine, computer. Therefore, they couldn't serve me, and I would have to make another appointment. Another person named Peggy had her appointment confirmed for that time. As far as I'm concerned, I should have been served because I was there, on time, and she was not. We both had appointments, the only difference being the computer entry. I did show the fellow the original email showing I had made the appointment, but at that time, I was a bit rattled and hadn't yet found the confirmation. The fellow did admit that he understood that I did have this appointment even though I didn't show him the actual confirmation. If he made a sincere apology for this problem, I certainly didn't hear it. I was simply to understand that the computer had made a mistake, and I was supposed to understand. I am a longtime customer of the Waterville Tire Warehouse, and hope to remain so. But I feel I should have at the very least received a sincere apology, and perhaps a coupon as compensation for my time lost. Generally, I would give Tire Warehouse an excellent rating, but this time they failed me and didn't respect the fact that my time is valuable too.

Tyler and his co-worker from Waterville VIP came to the rescue by topping off our coolant, finding the cause of the leak, and safely leading us in the right direction to get the car fixed by the good men of Winslow's VIP. I have 2 words for people considering Midas in Waterville - GO ELSEWHERE!…read moreUsed Midas over several years for tire changeovers and oil changes. Recently had my car in for an inspection - identified a dashboard light requiring fix - they couldn't. Went to another garage who fixed light and identified 2 other areas - Midas didn't identify - to receive inspection. Went to my local mechanic who looked over car and fixed 2 identified areas but could not find a tie rod issue. Returned to Midas who now identified a "tie rod" issue requiring fix before inspection. While I waited for Midas to finish inspecting and determining more work needed, 2 other customers also miraculously needed tie rods repaired! Back to my mechanic I went, who inspected the tie rod in question - he could find NO ISSUE with said tie rod! When confronting Midas about 2 different garages looking at tie rod and not finding an issue they refused to accept this information as true. Became very defensive and refused to have a discussion on the appearance of a "scam" for money occurring. I advise anyone contemplating using Midas in Waterville to find another garage. They are out to pressure you for unnecessary extra work and prey on you with the hopes you don't understand cars. Family, friends and co-workers have been receiving word of mouth advertising to AVOID Midas at all costs! Take heed all!

Doug's sent my son and I in our truck they repaired that was unsafe.  We lost our brakes and went…read morethrough traffic light.  We had 7 sets of brake pads, 7 rotors, 4 calipers in a 13 month period ..still messed up!!  Doug's told us our calipers where good 3 times but then they ruined our new parts.  They refused  to warrantee work blaming it on our calipers that they inspected for us.  They left Emergency brake unhooked and didn't inspect their brake work allowing us to drive it.   Doug's told us they are busy!   Convinced us we needed water pump and we don't believe we ever did.  Out a few thousand and have a truck that don't work!  Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle elsewhere.
