His installer barely got 10% done before the entire crew disappeared without a single word. I've tried calling. I've tried emailing. I even showed up at the local office -- all I got were pathetic excuses and zero accountability. The demo company and I have already filed complaints with the contractors board and the financing company because this man thinks he can just take people's money and run. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

Buyer Beware - My Home Was Left Torn Apart - Their contractor license has been revoked!…read more I never imagined I would be writing a review like this, but I feel obligated to warn other homeowners. I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! We highly recommend this team for high quality products, professional treatment and advice, and an impressive installation experience.

I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like bike helmets. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. The donations come from manufacturers or commercial businesses rather than individual donors that are remodeling their homes, or got a new piece.

I had never thought about using recycled wood until I noticed some interior siding and tables done with it in a Starbucks in San Diego. The manager said it was done by Vintage Timberworks and they were a local company. I liked the tables so I looked them up and visited their yard in Temecula . I ended up having them make a table and benches out of reclaimed oak barn lumber, (like the one in Starbucks). It came out awesome! Really beautiful brown patina and a lot of character. Nikki and Matt helped me design the table and they let me select my own material from a huge unit of barn planks. Now I'm thinking about doing some rustic siding to go with it. Maybe at some point this store was great, but my recent experience with this place has been a…read moreheadache from the beginning. The time to receive our flooring was ridiculous and the cherry on top was the unprofessionalism the whole situation was dealt with. The communication was the absolute worst, customer service wasn't any better and instead of trying to be helpful we got scolded for contacting the manufacturer directly. Not to purchase additional material, but to simply get an exchange since we got sent the wrong shade on accident. If the communication was there we would have reached out to this business directly, but it hasn't been, so we saved ourselves the headache and contacted the manufacturer. Never will be spending our money here or recommending it to anyone.

I got Palm Springs Gold rock here last year and was very happy. Went back to get more for the…read morebackyard and it had a ton of sand. A lot of sand. I paid for rock. I called to find out if they would do anything and all she said is that it was out of her control and sometimes that's what happens. I will be looking for another place that carries that particular rock because at $120 for 2 scoops that very pricey for sand.
