JUST WOW!!! Just driving up to the property I could see how much product they have and what a variety. The grounds are beautiful, the showroom is a beautiful house showcased with all kinds of absolutely gorgeous wood. On the patio were pieces that I could sort through as I was there to purchase some Live Edge pieces that very few places carry. I found exactly what I wanted but I also found more than I could imagine, We definitely be back when we are looking to upgrade our space with ceiling beams and a statement wall. Excellent choice pieces for our mantle! Great selection too. Our fireplace looks so awesome now, completely changed the whole feel of our home. read more

This review is mostly information on location and products offerings. I have not made a purchase yet but hope to. The business has limited hours, Monday-Friday open early and closing early which presents a problem for most people. That being said they have an amazing selection of vintage lumber for diy home projects and contracted projects. Update to follow. read more

Couldn't get beyond their crappy phone customer service. It wasn't the CS rep. She was nice. It was the sales guy I had to deal with after. Incredibly lazy and unhelpful. I own a furniture manufacturing company in Carlsbad. It would have been great to deal with a local company who sells reclaimed lumber. This company wasn't it for me. read more

Very cool place even for the small DIYers. The guys there were very helpful. They had some great pieces of wood for all types of projects.

I love the mantel piece that I ended up purchasing, and the lady that I worked with was very accommodating which is why I'm happy with my visit - overall. However, the only thing keeping me from putting down 5 stars is when the dude working there rolled his eyes when I asked if I could see what the mantel would look like in the sunlight. I understand that it's not in broad daylight when it's eventually in my home, but when I'm buying something that will be the focal point of our home and not the most economical option available, I don't think it's an outrageous request to want to know what the darn thing looks like. My husband later picked up the piece for me and without giving him any insight about my earlier experience I asked how it went and he mentioned that there was a really rude guy that loaded it up for him. Other than that guy the place is super awesome and the lady (wish we got her name) was super helpful. Here's a photo of the mantel mounted in our future home. read more

I found Vintage Timberworks in my online search for a fireplace mantle. I was excited to find a local reclaimed-wood seller and was not disappointed at all when I got there. The ready and available mantles were all so beautiful so that it was not easy to choose. Fortunately I had a budget for my renovation to think about that did help me narrow down my options. Otherwise, I could have gone hog-wild there. The shop-keep was a good source of answers for all of my questions, so I was able to find something I loved and will appreciate over my fireplace for many years to come! read more

8th wonder of the world!! The place is truly something special and beyond what any natural words could ever express. If you are looking for anything other than a new 2x4 from your favorite box store then I highly recommend checking it out. Their office and products were extremely well taken care of absolutely beautiful! I thought the price was very fair and enjoyed every conversation I had while at their business, in fact I was so impressed that it is now where I am going to go for my birthday!!!! read more

Wonderful experience and beautiful wood at the site. I haven't received a call back but will try again. The wood I am waiting for is coming fro Montana and it was a heavy winter. read more

As you can see Vintage Timbers never stood by their product. Anyone looking for reclaimed lumber might try Elmwood reclaimed lumber. I had hoped they would do the right thing but apparently not. After I placed my first review I was threatened. Crazy right! I don't want anyone else to experience this kind of customer service. So 700 Sq Ft of flooring $16,000 dollars later sub standard floors. My contractor bought vintage lumber from them for our vanity it was great. The floors too big of ticket item to look the other way. They need to replace the boards as necessary at their cost. read more

Wish I could give Vintage Timberworks more than 5 stars. Matt helped my wife and I with choosing the reclaimed wood for an accent wall in our living room. Matt is very knowledgeable and asked what sort of look we were going for and showed us samples of the various finishes to choose from. The wall came out exactly how we envisioned it. Thank you Matt and the entire team at Vintage Timberworks. read more

We needed a mantle for our stone fireplace, something bold and rustic. We found it at Vintage Timberworks. We picked out a nice piece of reclaimed lumber. When we went back we saw a better one and they exchanged it no problem. Matt spent a good amount of time showing us how to apply the wax/stain. Very friendly and accommodating all around. read more

Vintage Timber made my project all come together! They are a family owned and operated business that really makes you feel like family every step of the way! We had a difficult client and Vintage Timber was more than accommodating! They really went the extra mile to make sure myself and our client were more than happy with the end result! The attention to detail during the preparation stages was a super crucial part of really pulling together the over all look! They even came out to our installation and made sure the material was up to par before we installed! I would Highly Recommend using Vintage Timber for ALL of your upcoming projects! Thank you Vintage Timber, Sincerely A very happy Client read more

I talked to these guys few times and sent them info and what ever needed to get a price and order beams from but they never respond and to me they are unprofessional. Guys from E&K did a great job , fast people . I give them zero in communication . read more

I have been here several times and their material is really cool. However, i never feel welcome when i come. As warm and cozy as the little office in the house feels the staff is the complete opposite. I am sorry that the other few good reviews got filtered, but i stand by mine. The guy who drives around in the golf cart is so cold and unfriendly. The girls in the office are fine but overall there is just an uncomfortable vibe and no one goes out of their way to be extra nice or accommodating. For the crazy prices of the wood, i would expect a little better service. read more

Had an appointment this morning at Vintage Timber this morning. Their showroom is stunning. It was truly fascinating seeing the different applications of the wood. The entire process was exciting! We ended up choosing gray board as an accent wall. I don't have anything to compare it to but I feel their pricing was fair. I can't wait to have this beautiful wood up!!! read more

Horrible experience!!! Buyer Beware!!! Home owner local here in Temecula for over 15 years. Purchased material from their showroom and when picked up half of the wood was completley unusable. Asked if I could exchange, they said no you can't. Problem is folks is you pick super expensive material from their showroom. That's not what you get. I received half absolute garbage. This company is a joke!! read more

Haven't done business with these folks, but the amount of stock they have on hand is impressive, their showroom beautiful, and pictures of the work they've done just amazing. I was looking for barn siding floor, which they have for approximately $10/sq ft. Yes, that's expensive - but the product you get is the real deal and unlike anything you can get anywhere else. You get what you pay for, folks. I'll update when I actually buy the flooring and put it in my kitchen. :-) read more

I can't say enough about the great customer service at Vintage Timberworks. I came in with my husband right at closing time and Nikki kept the office open for another half an hour showing us samples and answering all of our questions. I came in today to pick out and purchase wood for out BBQ island. Jim and Vince helped me pick out the wood I needed. They were both super helpful and even helped me load and cut some of the wood that was too large to transport. I would absolutely recommend Vintage Timberworks to anyone looking for unique reclaimed wood. read more

Hopefully my review does not get filtered again!! Are you listening Yelp? I am an actual paying customer multiple times, so I speak with full confidence. I have walked the yard many times, seen every aspect of their business, from the phone calls to Nikki, Dennis and others, to the search in their yard, to the purchase of stock merchandise and special ordering of handmade beams, to the pick-up and even delivery of the product. (BTW...How can someone like this place and give them a 4 star only because you didn't purchase something??!! Nice job Yelp explaining to people how to rate a business.) Yelp, set down your algorithms, and meet me in the Vintage Timberworks yard and see for yourself what the experience is like dealing with these people and hanging around all the old timbers. Oh, and bring my original 5 star review with you, because I want it back so I can post it again. read more

Really unfortunate feelings on this one, as they're the only ones in SD county that have a decent amount of reclaimed wood on hand. Basically boils down to this: super high pressure sales, nickel and dime approach to squeezing every penny out of you, not open on the weekends (which makes the trip to Temecula even more fun), rude, combative, and just not worth the time or the overpriced fee for the wood they have. I'm bitter overall about this place because I really wanted to love them. read more

So, you're thinking of sprucing up your home with some cool wood from Timberworks? Buyer beware. They "fumigate", but don't "treat" for termites, and nothing is guaranteed. We purchased a $700 piece of wood as a mantle and 8 months later are spending $400 to treat it for termites. It's disguising. So, no help from them either. They don't guarantee their product. You can only hope you aren't introducing termites into your home... Buyer beware! read more

My wife and i recently purchased some wood that we are going to reclaim ourselves for a mantle. The office staff was very helpful, but The guys in the yard went above and beyond for us, they were super awesome! Very informative and helpful. read more

Our dealings with Vintage Timberworks was amazing from start to finish. The showroom is very impressive. You can see first hand what you are getting. I researched timbers for almost 8 months for new construction and am so glad I went with them. We ordered box beams, a mantle and timbers for 2 room openings and we could not be happier. Carmen was incredible to work with. Dealing with Companies when you don't live in the area can be difficult, but Carmen went above and beyond to assist us and ensure we got exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for quality craftsmanship. Thank you Vintage Timberworks/Carmen! read more

Dennis, Anna & everyone at Vintage Timberworks. What incredible people. Thank you for caring more about our needs than making a sale. Extraordinary service. I don't know what the previous review is thinking, or even thinking at all. We have used Vintage and their corresponding team on many high-end, custom projects, where they have always been on-time, on-budget, and they do what they say they are going to do. Their prices are competitive, and they have the appropriate knowledge to get you the right material (which they have on hand fyi). Dennis's team was also very helpful in the design/planning phase, and was helpful and available to our team. A great experience. These guys deliver. Chris M. read more

We have been to Vintage Timberworks many times and done a lot of business with them. The material is really cool. We love picking up vintage wood for construction/art projects. They are a little off the beaten path from our location but worth the drive all the way out there. A little pricey compared to other vintage timber yards but I think the fact that they gas their pieces for termites/pests before they are sold has something to do with it being a little higher than other places. The administrative staff inside are nice but some of the other staff are hit/miss depending on their mood. They can seem a little cold. Sometimes your treated like you're getting in the way of their daily business even though you are required to make an appointment. The people that work in the yard want you to re-stack and clean up all wood that you sort, which seems a little over the top to expect the customer to move all the wood around by hand without assistance when they own the heavy equipment. That area of the business could use some improvement. Overall, the experience is okay and worth it for the quality pieces you can find. read more

Thank you to the office and co-owner of Vintage Timberworks. I came into their showroom and yard to find a very small piece of wood for a project of mine and could not have asked for better service from a great group of folks for such a small order. Thank you for helping me find the best piece of wood for my project and taking such great care of me in the process, as well as letting me wander around and take in all of the fantastic pieces of wood and be inspired by the surroundings. read more

I had never thought about using recycled wood until I noticed some interior siding and tables done with it in a Starbucks in San Diego. The manager said it was done by Vintage Timberworks and they were a local company. I liked the tables so I looked them up and visited their yard in Temecula . I ended up having them make a table and benches out of reclaimed oak barn lumber, (like the one in Starbucks). It came out awesome! Really beautiful brown patina and a lot of character. Nikki and Matt helped me design the table and they let me select my own material from a huge unit of barn planks. Now I'm thinking about doing some rustic siding to go with it. Great company, great idea! read more
