Cute place in a tourist town…read more I know it sounds a bit ridiculous (and I'm aware there's probably somewhere in Portland that has this) but I came here pretty much solely to get HP sauce, which I am appalled that standard grocery stores in Portland do not have! Sure, Amazon has it too and all that but I figured it made a good excuse to come out to Freeport and get HP sauce and maybe a couple other things. Tea drinkers and jelly lovers will have quite a time here. The shop is quite small and very much a gift shop. A bit peculiar to have in Freeport, Maine, maybe... but nevertheless there were a lot of worthless trinkets that could have easily been purchased. But I limited myself to just three items. I just realized i forgot to look in the fridge! Auuuugh!!! I guess I have to go back now.

Here are a couple of the fun tips and pointers about this little place: - You can taste test any of the mixed oils/vinegars that you want with little tasting cups and small spickets to pour the taste into it. You can mix grapefruit and sunflower and get a tasty topping for a green salad or throw in some apricot vinegar and then you really can go salad wild. - Once you partake in one of the bottles of dressing/oil you can bring the bottle back in to refil at a discounted price and get your card stamped to earn rewards then they reseal the bottle with a gold foil top. - The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and so welcoming to those that might not know what to do in an oil/vinegar shoppe. My wife and I recommend you totally stop in here to try the goods for your flavor extravaganza!! But remember you have to look for it because it is hidden on the lower floor from all the hubub of Oakley/ Lids / Coach/ LL Bean area.

Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. Along with the full line of chocolate offerings from Lindt, the also sell discontinued items at a significant mark down. What I like is the sold their factory seconds of their chocolates. What they were selling at my visit was a white chocolate filled Lindor balls. These were considered rejects because of cosmetic reason: pattern on the balls very irregular, balls not perfectly round, some dents, etc. Sold bulk unwrapped in large plastic balls. Had samples of them, and hey, still taste the same, just not perfectly round. Who cares, taste all the same one inside my mouth. They also sold some wrapped Lindor balls in bulk as well. I bought a pound of the wrapped dark chocolate Lindor balls for $5.00. Great deal considering that normally they are $0.50 retail, and a pound contains about 40 balls (do the math!). Worth carrying with me back on the plane. Should have bought more, because my coworkers ate most of them.
