Michael checked it out and right away determined that the shaft of the quartz movement was broken and that I would need to replace it with a "high torque" quartz movement due to the large size of the minute and hour hands. I tried to pay him but Michael would not accept any money. I was able to find a high-torque quartz movement on Amazon for $23.99! Thank you, Michael!
