My husband had the lobster ravioli and it was very good. I had the chicken which unfortunately came raw. I understand mistakes happen but I would've expected the manager to come and talk to us, apologize, or at least give us a free drink or discount. I guess Capisce changed their name to Vino's Italian Kitchen since we were there last, but I'm going to write this review anyway as I see the menu hasn't really changed that much - or at least the item that I ate. I had the Handmade Ricotta Gnocchi topped with a VERY hearty Bolognese. It was super comforting and pretty tasty; afterwards, it left me feeling miserably full but in a good way. Pasta does that to me, especially when the portions are more than I can handle. Hubby had the tenderloin filet which he said was cooked very well. However, his side was delicious buttery mashed potatoes - apparently, the new menu only has roasted baby potatoes. Boooo. The dessert we had was a Tiramisu, also no longer on the menu. It definitely seems more of an Italian staple than carrot cake; sad they don't serve it anymore. It was a frozen product, but very tasty. Overall, a decent meal. Nice ambiance. Decent place for being in Thackerville OK. Not the best meal I ever had but certainly not the worst. My filet was very well prepared but was about 5 oz and it should have been 8 oz. Our starters were all excellent (stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, fried calamari). My soup was a lobster bisque but lacked any sort of pizazz. It almost seemed to be from a can with a few bits of lobster dropped into it. The sides were just ok. Nothing special just grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. The service was pretty good. Love love love this place! It's a quiet little oasis in noisy Winstar. For starters they serve you a big salad and warm breadsticks. Very very wonderful breadsticks......I'm not sure they put garlic on the breadsticks, if they do, it's not much. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable unless you get something like steak. I have been to Vino's 3 times, and got great meals every time. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because it's a fairly casual place. read more

I'm struggling with how to exactly characterize Capisce. Located in the behemoth Winstar Casino, it suffers from what other restaurants in the establishment experience; little incentive to provide truly good cuisine. First, let me say the service was very attentive and the two waitresses we had (one was in training) were both friendly and genuinely worked hard to ensure we were taken care of. The food is problematic. It's not terrible, but outside the walls of this casino, it would be hard pressed to earn repeat business. First the bread they serve with the meal is not a fresh, fluffy bread. It appears to be something that is merely heated onsite and brushed with a butter/ herb wash. It's a mediocre prequel to the main course. While both my husband and I thought our main dishes were satisfactory, they were not elevated enough to be passed as cuisine at an Italian Restaurant. The dishes were good in a very conventional way, much like how boxed macaroni dinners can be good. It's predictable and safe, but it's basic. Ultimately, dessert is where this dining experience crashed and burned. We ordered the tiramisu and it was AWFUL. It tasted like it had been refrigerated for a long time. The ladyfinger layers were dry and dense and you never quite got the smooth marscapone flavor one finds in good tiramisu. It's even more disappointing to hear that it's made in house. Why would anyone make this version of Tiramisu and be happy with it? Capisce needs to go back to the drawing board and refine their dishes. read more

We came here last year for New Years and our experience was wonderful, we decided to come back to celebrate New Years again and our experience was not so great. The young hostesses was rude and short, she seemed liked she didn't want to be there and it definitely showed through her attitude. However I am giving the place 4 stars because of Rinda! Rinda was wonderful and made sure all of the customers even the frustrated ones were taken care of, she went above and beyond and she is very appreciated. This is a mixed review. My wife and I were staying at the Winstar RV park and decided to come here for dinner. We were well greeted and seated and our server showed up right away to take our drink order. Not his fault, but the drinks are VERY weak. Next dinner, I ordered the featured steak and lobster at $62. I have to say it was excellent. Not so much for my wife's dinner. Her linguini and clams was very disappointing. Frozen clams do nit make for a good dish. Been here before love there lobster bisque my hubby likes his steak and surf. Curtail our waitress was excellent but the manager Tracy was not. When the bill came she tried to run our credited card over $200 of the bill amount twice or credit card company flagged it as fraud. Made reservations for 530p and only one table was seated in the whole place. Grabbed a booth in the back and enjoyed the service from our sweet waiter, Darcy. She was very attentive and even recommended the raspberry lemon drop cocktail which was TO DIE FOR! I ordered the chicken and mushroom lasagna and it was cooked to perfection. Great taste and everything was fresh. Now I'm not an expert on "authentic Italian" but I know what my belly loves, and it gives Capisce two thumbs up. This is a very nice, small, white linen upscale Italian restaurant inside Winstar World Casino. I'm pretty sure it's located in the Rome gaming plaza. The food is good, but the menu is not enormous. Nice wine list. Because the restaurant is small, it fills up fast. If there is a big event going on don't expect to get in at dinner time. I believe they take reservations, but even then you better make them early for a concert night. The atmosphere is dim, fancy, romantic, and quiet. Food & drinks are not consistent ranging from great to horrible. The Lump Crab Cakes were okay but not great, kind of watery. Frozen ones from Trader Joe's are much better. The Beef & Mushroom Risotto was really good but the Linguini with Clams was bland. I had a couple Italian Margaritas with the first one being fantastic but the second one tasting like some kind of bad medicine. We definitely drew the short straw when it came to our waitress. We were waiting constantly on everything, really frustrating. Everyone else with other wait staff seemed to have good service. This place is alright and one of the better food options in the area. It was kind of slow the night we went so the service wasn't bad. The bartender waited on us and was nice. She knew the menu pretty well as well as the wine selection they had. They let us split a dinner because their portion sizes are rather large. We split the chicken piccata and it was just enough food. They even split it for us in the kitchen. We were able to find a decent reasonably priced wine too. It would be nice if they did a little more to separate the area from the view of the casino. The lobster bisque tasted good but it didn't have many pieces of lobster in it (if any). I wasn't expecting much though since we were in Oklahoma. I also don't think the pasta was made fresh on site but I could be wrong. I'd probably go here again if it wasn't busy.
