A frequent stop for me when I have some time before my flight. The wine menu is not extensive but they definitely have some flights available and a variety of types of wine. Besides their wine selection they also have a handful of tasty meal options. This is more of a light bites type place, so I wouldn't go in with the expectation that you're going to get a hearty meal, but it is definitely serviceable. They are typically one person in staff. I would suggest sitting at the bar if available. They are located just at the top of the escalators upon entering the terminal. read more

Came in on Sunday at 10:30am. My husband and I love this place but the gentleman working the bar said he could not serve me and then laughed. Then I went to sit and I mentioned that I would make sure I took really good care of him and he said I could care less whether or not you sit here I make money regardless of you being here or not so I just picked up my computer and I went across the hall to the bengals Restaurant. I have never encountered such a rude hostile individual. read more

Got 45 minutes to burn at CVG airport, so voila! Perfect spot to wait before boarding. Ample selection of wine, quick service (well is at airport terminal A, duhh) casual ambience. Just enough to unwind before boarding! Au revoir!! read more

I found myself here when I got to the airport early. I ordered a glass of their house red which was very tasty. I ordered the avocado toast their new menu item and it rocked. It was on 4 pieces with balsamic vinegar on top. That was extra but so worth it. These wine bars are in many airports and I found myself here when I got to the airport early. This place had good wine, fast service, clean area, not insanely expensive and yummy bruschetta. I got a flight of three red wines including a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Pinot noir (which I don't normally like), and a red blend. The Pinot noir was oddly my favorite. read more

Vino Volo, Terminal A, Cincinnati Airport 4 stars. I had 45 minutes prior to my boarding time, so I decided to try Vino Volo in Terminal A. I have visited Vino Volo in other airports but not Cincinnati. Cincinnati is a very quiet and enjoyable airport. TSA is easy, travel to the gates is convenient. My flight departed from Terminal A and the wine bar is located at the top of the escalators. It was quite quiet as well. Service was very quick. I ordered a red wine and their humus tray. The humas tray was nicely prepared. The wines are good but a bit overpriced for the quality. Overall, a good stop before a flight read more

I'm a big fan of the Vino Volo locations in airports. First off you are not going to get better food nor wine in an airport. Second, bottles of top notch wine to go. Third, good service always. This particular location also had a very nice view and extra seating. I had a great pork taco and a burrata with a salad. Both were super tasty and put together quickly. read more

I really enjoyed the customer service, Melanie went above and beyond to serve us and that made not only the service better but the food better as well read more

Stopped in here frankly because the lines at other places were pretty long. It's right in your way to the gates, near the entrance to the A Terminal. It's a wine bar first, food lace second, and we really are not wine people. But they do seem to have a decent selection and serve flights, so I could see the attraction. In any case we were there for a quick meal. The food menu is somewhat limited but attractive. The sandwiches were good (everything is overpriced at every airport restaurant to pay for the space), and the servers were pleasant and cheerful. This is not the sort of place we would normally frequent but I would go back here again. read more

The food is prepared by people that care, amazing. The service is great, friendly, simply fantastic

Decent small plates and sandwiches and a great selection of wine. Cozy little place right by the escalators. They had no beer when I visited, just for wine enthusiasts. Taking very limited options at CVG, this one is probably one of the best and most pleasant to spend time at before a flight. Most of the food is microwaved and the place is understaffed, one of the waiters prepared the food in between taking orders, which made the service slooow. As for the airport biz, they should fix this and fill the gaps in their staff. Other than that, still, a cozy spot to grab a drink before boarding. read more

Very decent food, taken the airport environment. The service could be faster, especially at the airport. Perhaps I was on a slow day, but they were understaffed and my waiter was preparing food in the back and was hard to get ahold of him. They have a simple menu, most of the staff comes through microwave, but it is still well presented and, honestly, this is still one of the best food options in the entire CVG, notorious for no good concourse restaurant. They have a sufficient selection of wines per glass and even do flights. I would come back here. Pleasant seats with natural light, decent food. read more

I have been a fan of Vino Volo for a while, and the CVG location is no exception. If you don't have a lounge membership, or if the airport in question doesn't have your lounge (I.e., no Admiral's Club in CVG), Vino Volo is as close as you're going to get to a suitable alternative. Quiet, plenty of outlets for charging, comfortable seating, usually not too crowded, and well out of the way of the crowded terminal full of folks barreling down the concourse without any awareness of their surroundings or for the personal space of others, Vino Volo is a clear stand out. There's always great wines and flights on the menu and the tapas-style food menu features tasty items that hit the spot without sending you running to the airport restroom for an emergency bowel movement like all the other folks in the airport bathrooms. The servers in the CVG location are warm, welcoming, and very attentive. I highly recommend Vino Volo. It doesn't get any better for public access dining and drinking at CVG. read more

Ok... this is a Vino Volo and it's a chain but this location had enthusiastic servers who were knowledgeable. Enjoyed my time here. The charcuterie board was good. New things on there... that little round ball thing was a piece of fruit. Lol Anyways... vino volo is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese. Get cheesey or winey but either way, enjoy something here and you will be entertained and enjoy your treats! read more

Fabulous wine and service ! The cheese plate is a must. I would also recommend the reds around the world flight!

I had a layover at CVG airport today (which I found out was actually in Kentucky, not Ohio, woops...) and decided to plant myself here for the duration. It's a very light and airy space with super comfortable seating. Everything is very pretty and clean. They offer all their wines by the glass, as well as flights for a somewhat high, yet very reasonable price for an airport. I went for the house white, which was a pinot grigio at $9-- very affordable by airport standards. I also ordered a beet and avocado salad with chicken. The chicken was okay (it was pretty bland), but the rest of the salad was quite good! The dressing was perfect, and the mixed greens weren't the standard mix, which is a good thing. The food was reasonably priced, and they also offered meat and cheese plates, sandwiches, and snacks. The service was also great-- my server was very relaxed, friendly, and prompt. Throw in the complimentary Wifi, and I'm happy! read more

I had just over two hours to kill before boarding my connecting flight home, and immediately honed in on this gem. As soon as I sat at the bar, I was greeted and asked when my flight was (a crucial question since some people are in a rush, and others are not). Since I had time to sit back and relax I decided to have one of their flights. They also suggested the Buratta to eat, and I was not disappointed. I sipped a glass of crisp rosé before heading to my gate. If you have the time for even one glass, stop here. The laid back atmosphere is the perfect distance from departing flights so you don't feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of an airport, but also an easy walk to and from your gate. Service is attentive and friendly, very accommodating to time restraints. And, of course, the food and wine was delicious. If I'm ever here again with some extra time on my hands, I know where I'll be before my flight. read more

Flight delays come with some perks, especially when those perks come with wine, a charcuterie board, and delicious sandwiches! Vino Volo has good service and a nice atmosphere, overall! You almost forget you're at the airport! Both my husband and I started out with wine flight of red wines each -- we tried each other's wine and there was not one that I personally didn't enjoy! I ordered the World Value Reds and he ordered the California Kings. My flight included a Sangiovese, Mencia, and Monastrell. His flight included a Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Out of my flight, I most enjoyed the Monastrell and he ordered a glass of the Slate Hill Cabernet Sauvignon. We also loved the charcuterie board as an app with our wine flights. For our meals I ordered the Brie & Prosciutto Sandwich and my husband ordered the Roasted Chicken Breast Sandwich. Both were delicious and paired great with wine! For a small "dessert" we ordered a bittersweet chocolate with salted caramel chocolate bar! read more

Tasty food and I saw people with flights and it looked pretty cool! I would highly suggest this place on a delayed flight.

I am so glad I stopped in this little gem! As soon as I sat down I was greeted and asked what time my flight left to assure timely service. I then order a flight of wine which arrived in less than 3 min. I ordered the "Brie prosciutto sandwich with a fig jam on ciabatta and it was so incredibly tasty! Again, I feel like this hot sandwich was served to me with the snap of a finger! If you are looking to relax, enjoy some good food with fast and friendly service then this is your place! Jada the bartender really knows her wines! Great recommendations. Lovely, airy, zero-stress location. Beautiful and tasty food. This is an airport?! Megan and Bridget embody hospitality. A long layover and a sleepless night is a recipe for disaster. They made every moment spent at their bar enjoyable. We have come here twice so far, and we will definitely come again! I have enjoyed the wine flights, as well as their small plates of food. Their charcuterie plate is nice to share, but their brie and prosciutto sandwich is the best! I have also eaten their pork tacos, and they were yummy too. But upon the server's suggestion I ordered two - good suggestion :o) Another offering they have is canned wine! $8 per can from Oregon. They only had the red. The server said that the pinot gris sells out quickly. Still need to sample the red, but it's nice to be able to take on the plane. Get a couple of glasses on the plane to use, and it definitely beats the price of in-flight wine! read more

Vino Volo is a wine bar located within CVG airport. Unless you have a flight you will likely not be able to get to this location. If you are waiting for a flight this is a really relaxing way to pass a bit of time. Vino Volo offers affordable wine flights. Single glasses of wine, bottles of wine, and light bites are also available for purchase. I stopped here with two friends and we each had a delightful flight of wine. They provide sheets with the name, source, and taste notes for each wine that you take with you for further reference. Service was good, although a little slow (I think we were there at shift change). I would definitely stop here in the future, although based on the time it took to get the server's attention for the check I might pay with the order or shortly after it. read more

Vino Volo - I enjoy Vino Volo at the airports! - Wine Bars Near Me - Burlington, Kentucky

Wow, this food is way overpriced. You get one sliver of three cheeses on a $21 charcuterie board. More overpriced than any charcuterie board that I've had in San Francisco. Totally ridiculous. The service really sucks too. I came here for a glass of wine and I'm just getting ignored. I'm sitting here with an empty plate and nothing to drink. After waiting for close to 30 minutes finally ordered a glass and was grossly short poured. It was supposed to be 6 ounces, but it wasn't even 4 ounces. The counter person actually claimed that it was slightly over, but you could totally hear the BS in his voice. read more

I am a frequent flyer and sit down for a wine and small plates all the time and have been to many Vino Volo,s all over the county. Do not order their signature salmon roll. A. Their Signature Dish, the Smoked Salmon Rolls, were sad little slivers of salmon of weak smears of what appeared to be mayo with crab flavoring. The "croccatini" they should be served on we're actually table crackers. This Vino Volo is a poor example of other Vino Volo's I've visited, with waitresses more interested in insisting on wine flights than customer service. The only thing that gives this location 2-stars rather than 1-star is the view. read more

I was happy to find this little gem in the Cincinnati airport (CVG) while waiting for a flight. At first glance the lunch menu seemed limited, though I found it to offer good variety.
