WILL LOSE YOUR CLOTHES AND LIE TO YOU ABOUT IT
I cannot state strongly enough how terrible this business, and especially the lady at the front desk, is. Really. Just drive the extra 5-10 minutes to a different dry cleaner because this places is truly awful.
I got married at the end of August and dropped off my rehearsal dinner jumpsuit and veil to be cleaned in early September. I then left the country for a few months. When I came back in December and went to pick up my clothes, the lady at the front desk told me she didn't have them. I was told they both had to be sent to Marietta because they were "so dirty," especially the hem of the jumpsuit. It was at this point I realized she she was willing to lie to me- the jumpsuit is cropped and the hem never touched the floor. If anything there was a stain on the bodice that would've been hard to get out. I was told the items would be back in a week.
After my wedding I moved to Duluth, meaning that getting to this dry cleaners was now an hour drive. A couple of weeks later (the next time I could justify the drive), my items were still "in Marietta." Four months after drop-off, my clothes were apparently still fighting a heroic battle against invisible dirt.
I explained that I had moved and asked if she could mail the items to me. Adhering to the customer service described in previous reviews, she was incredibly rude. I had to explain my situation 3-4 times to convince her to mail me my clothes. She said they would be mailed within the week and that she would give me a call to gather the shipping info. When that didn't happen, I called to ask when they'd be mailed and she took my address and said she'd call back for my card info. A week later and still no call.
Multiple attempts to reach them in the following week (no answering machine, no email) finally resulted in being told my clothes were ready and I could come get them.
So I drove an hour. Again.
When I got there, she placed my items on the hanger- I saw my jumpsuit and behind it a veil. Foolishly assuming that she would be giving me MY clothes, I didn't take a close look at the veil. When I got home I noticed that she had given me a veil that was not mine.
The next day I called and told her the problem and her thoughtful response was to call me a liar. At least 5 minutes of her gaslighting me on the phone- telling me over and over that it was the veil I dropped off and they don't have anything else in the store. My veil is a cathedral length plain soft tulle, and the one she gave me was fingertip length, crunchy tool, with a large floral decoration. After listening to her lie to me for several minutes I broke down and yelled "DO NOT LIE TO ME. THIS IS NOT MY VEIL. I HAVE PHOTOS OF ME WEARING IT." Once she heard that I would be able to provide proof, she told me she'd look for my veil and then promptly HUNG UP. I called her back and told her not to hang up on me and asked to be called back by the end of the day with an update. She very rudely said she'd call me IF they found the veil.
Two days later - miracle of miracles - they "found" my actual veil. I made yet another hour-long drive to retrieve it. I got there, returned the veil that wasn't mine, and inspected the veil that she told me was mine. It was indeed my veil, but it was covered in little black hairs. I showed her and she just shrugged and said "that's the best we could do." I have no idea where the hairs would have come from at my wedding, if anything it would've been grass or dirt since our ceremony was outside. The only thing I can think is that in the four months the veil was in their care, they completely forgot about it and it was tossed on the ground where it gathered dust and the hairs. I requested that she refund me the $40 I paid for this "cleaning" and she told me they couldn't do that. I said (probably more yelled, I was v mad) "Really? It's been 4 months and you're returning it to me dirtier than when I dropped it off." And she just stared at me.
