I saw him earlier today and told him that I had several dresses that needed to be altered and that I would be bringing them by so that I can try them on and get fitted correctly for alterations however, when I arrive, the two women that were at the front counter we're not very friendly. I mentioned that the owner told me that he would give me a good price since a lot of my clients use his company and they wrote their eyes and started speaking rudely in Korean, which I did not appreciate was going to give them a chance and when I tried on the very first dress, she told me that for a half an inch alteration around my dress that it would be about $25 because they used a third-party and I decided that I would take my garments somewhere else for service. We had a few friends over enjoying some wine and company but my clumsy wife spilled a good amount of cabernet over our $500 chair :/ We tried everything we could to get the stain out but was unsuccessful for a while(youtube was no help this time). I saw great reviews so I decided to use their services. I dropped off two dresses and a suit jacket. I paid almost $30 to have them cleaned and now I will have to have them recleaned somewhere else because upon removing the clothing from the plastic bag to put it on for an interview I discovered they all smell horrible. The best way I can describe the odor is men's body odor... it literally smells like a sweaty man. Worst of all I had no choice but to wear the clothing to the interview. As a result, I am occasionally able to convince my better half to run this errant in my stead (very valuable -- try this, you will like it). Dry Cleaning Services: My clothes always come back clean, and the wear and tear seems to be minimal. When I was a new customer, they kindly offered to show me all of their new equipment and fancy machines, designed to be extra gentle. That was a nice touch! Oh, the horror when I splattered acrylic paint all over my white blazer! I thought that i'd definitely have to invest in a new one. While asking my dad what to do, he told me about Cleantopia and the amazing job they do. I brought my blazer in, almost in tears, and when I went to pick it up the next day it looked brand new. I can't say enough good things about Cleantopia and its owners. They are the very best. I carried my daughter's clothing here when she was boarding at college here in Atlanta. They were the answer to college dry cleaning, laundry and alterations. I am still using them many years post college and always turn to them when a bedspread or blanket needs to be cleaned or a pair of slacks has to be hemmed. The owners always recognize you as a return customer and this means a lot. I've been coming here for years as I live very close by. The service is a basic dry cleaner. I even return the hangers per their request but they don't care to say thanks or provide any future discount. Upon picking up 15 pieces today of simple clothing, I was charged $200! Absolutely insane. Unsure if they suddenly raised prices and didn't share before running my card but I won't be returning for basic service and limited times that I can rarely get to between 9-6pm. Prices are unreasonable for normal items. Not to mention i find picks to a few of my clothes when they are returned ( i keep the dry clean tag on to know I haven't worn it yet).
