I noticed it as soon as I got home and called the place to ask about it and an angry man answered. He was dismissive, told me "too bad!" and hung up on me. He was straight up mean. if I could give 0 stars I would. They ruined my $900 dress and didn't tell me and gave it back to me. Upon getting home and realizing the damage, I went back and she knew exactly what I was talking about. She had recalled the damaged dress before I even said anything. Long story short, it took multiple trips up there and many "come back later"s, to get only half of my money back for a new dress. I will never ever come back, nor will I let anyone I know use them. When it comes to dry cleaning, it really isn't hard to please me. Just don't ruin/lose my clothes, charge me an arm and a leg, or ignore the crazy amount of chemicals used to do your job. I VERY rarely get things dry cleaned (like, once a year) so I can't review this spot as a regular client, but I certainly liked what I saw/experienced. Super super friendly owners, making small talk, inviting me to bring my precious Tikka inside: I definitely want to support their business. My clothes look good as new and they encourage their customers to bring back hangers and plastic wrap in order to recycle. Prices were completely reasonable, and since it's so closeby I might actually start taking better care of my clothes and bring them here rather than taking my chances with the delicate cycle. read more

The new couple ( claim related to the old) are condescending ( she knows everything !) and they cheat - they charged me $2.71 per shirt, should have been $1.85. My wife and I have used this cleaners since our move to Atlanta. No more. After my wife had a very important dress used for our rehearsal dinner was absolutely ruined by some very careless dry cleaning we will not return. After refusing to take responsibility after 5 trips to the cleaners to discuss the situation, nothing was done. The female owner not only refused to speak to my wife because she knew that they had made a mistake but also disrespected her under her breath while she was standing right in front of her. You can read my other reviews and know that I am a positive poster and love local business but the unprofessionalism of this place, which is in a prime location and does great business should not be visited by other residents of Inman Park. We have at least 5 neighborhood dry cleaners and just because this may be the most convenient, it is not worth the neighborhood's business. read more

I cannot express how pleased I am with the job they've done. I sent a couple of pieces I was pretty certain could not be saved: 1- A beautiful banana republic cream midi skirt that was spattered with mud while walking through a rainy Manhattan. My first time wearing it! I let the skirt sit for months (foolishly). They somehow removed any trace of dirt from the skirt. It's like new again! I can't believe it. 2-A stylish denim jacket I purchased in Seoul. Somehow, it ended up with strange clay-like stains up one sleeve and a on the back. Haven't worn it in years. Again, they were able to get 99.9% of the marks removed, leaving only a small faded area on the sleeve. But it's totally wearable once more! Wonderful job, I couldn't be more excited. They also did a fantastic job patching up a pair of jeans for my boyfriend. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood. read more

I really, really wanted to like this place because I live right across the street and it's super convenient. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. They have put holes in TWO -- not one, TWO! -- of my very nice, delicate sweaters. You know, the kind you really do have to take to get dry cleaned because you don't want them to shrink or anything? Friends suggested I go back and get a refund, but the cost of the cleaning doesn't come close to the cost of the sweaters. Now, I have to find a place that can fix them! They also lost the ribbon belt that was attached to one of my dresses. On the other hand, they managed not to ruin my comforter when I took it there to be cleaned, and even gave it back to me in a big zipped-up bag. If you like the convenience of this place, maybe stick to taking sturdier items (they've never messed up my pants!). They won't take care of your more delicate ones. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I have never once had any issues with them losing my clothes or damaging them. I am a frequent customer (I bring 10-15 articles of clothing a week) and their prices are extremely reasonable. I bring dress pants, silk shirts, lace dresses, my comforter and just about everything else. The owner always remembers my name and is very polite. He also rounds down the price almost every time (for example if the charge should be $57 he'll just charge $50). I started coming here because it was right down the street from my apartment (N Highland Steel) but I have since moved to Virginia Highlands and I still come to Professional Cleaners even though there are closer options. I recommend this place 100% and have referred many of my friends, who have all been pleased as well! read more

What I like most is they do things onsite and will happily adjust anything you are not happy with. They also do alterations, well, and cheaply. Very friendly staff and they will literally try to clean anything or repair any rip. They are my go to cleaner and alterations! read more

I found this cleaner when I was living in the highlands. I have used several different cleaners since I moved a couple of years ago. In my sample of cleaners around the city, I have found that no one can get a spot out like this place. I have taken items to one cleaner with spots only to have to take the same item to this spot to actually remove a stain. I drive from decatur here when I really need to clean something. I took in a number of well loved and well worn sweaters and shirts here this week and I am beyond pleased with how they were when I picked them up. Most of my sweaters had small holes here and there from catching on things and a few had very old food stains (I don't get to the cleaners often); when I was hanging them back in my closet, I noticed all the holes had been mended and everything was spotless. Everyone I spoke to was also very polite and they were nice enough to charge my card an even $35 even though my total was $37.50! Great all around experience, I will definitely be going back. read more

I started using this cleaner after my regular dry cleaner in L5P burned down. I recently discovered a dress I took to them had a large shred in the fabric under the cap sleeve that clearly came from their chemicals and or machinery. (I bought the cotton dress from Garnet Hill last summer so it is almost new) -- they refused to make amends, and claimed that it must have been caused by my deoderant (it looks like it was chewed up in machinery and there is some fabric missing -- it is not "worn away). The only offered to try to sew it -- it's very visible and fabric is missing. It would be impossible to mend without being noticeable and it is a dress I wear to work in a professional office. I understand that things get lost and sometimes damaged in a dry cleaning business. But the businesses need to pay for it when it happens. They have lost my business. read more

I took in a 60 year old vintage dress of my grandmothers to have it taken in and made knee length. It used to be a floor length dress, but I never wore it like that, so I went in to make it knee length. They cut it 6 inches too short... and crooked. Oh and they FORGOT to take it in, so I got stabbed by a pin when I was tearfully trying it on after realizing how short it was. So they insisted that they fix it and I reluctantly agreed... so I told them the only way to fix it without making it look idiotic and cheap was to add material to the inner layer, so that the outer layer would just lay over it, like a tier. What I got back was them sewing what they cut off back on! (Oh and the inner layer is even shorter!) It looks ridiculous, but at least they remembered to take it in this time? And not try to give it back to me with the pins in it...? They DID however try to make me feel bad by saying they had to spend a lot of money on it (????) and a lot of time and that the material was weak... (again- ????) Needless to say, I did not pay for any of it. They're lucky I don't make them pay me. NEVER GO TO PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS IN INMAN PARK. read more

Very friendly service, excellent quality. They get spots out of things other cleaners haven't gotten spots out of. They know my name, they are very easy to work with. I forgot my wallet one time and they gave me my clothes and said they'd see me again. I came to them because several friends of mine have been using them for years and highly recommended them.
