    A pleasant afternoon sipping wine!
    Cindy S.

Actually, it was a great experience, a few glitches, but it all worked out in the end...... as my Mother would say, if is not OK, then it's not the end....(and there you have that!) It was fun and the pizza was SPECTACULAR! I don't remember what we had, (HA!) but it has a spring salad mix on top with drizzled Balsamic, and it was FAB! Happy hour from Noon to 6 daily, but I think the owner got alittle confused on that, because it was also buy one glass. get one free.... anyway, a great time and we definitely recommend! (I'm not sure why owner Jose, hasn't claimed his site....?)

Excellent selection of wines and knowledgeable help from Jose. Always has different wines in with great prices.

Best place to drink and shop for wine! The owner has introduced me to bottles that I now consider my favorite wine.

I would actually even pay more per bottle for the personal attention and care taken by Jose and his staff.

I knew I had to try it on a recent visit back home. My experience was mixed. The excellent: our table service was next level with each dish being thoroughly explained. We were educated on the thought process behind each wine pairing as well. Between each course our table was cleaned and we were presented with fresh silverware. The great: the food was presented beautifully and our meal looked incredibly impressive. The interior definitely invoked the Brooklyn vibes that inspired the restaurant in the first place. It feels very upscale hipster. The disappointing: though the overall experience was tasty and texturally perfect, each dish we tried had some overpowering element and flavors were not balanced. After the tuna crudo all I could taste was celery, after the morel mushroom pasta all I could taste were the pungent chive blossoms, and the trout skin/asparagus were over-grilled and I felt like I was eating a well prepared charcoal briquette. Maybe I'll give this place another try next time I'm in town and hope the flavors make as much sense as the rest of the experience.

However, I was surprised on one dish for missing the mark this round unfortunately. For only being here once though and they change up their menu seasonal, I'm hopeful their 'too salty' dishes are few and far between. The service was good as they were knowledgeable on menu items. The ambiance was moody. They also have a wonderful bar area with a large upscale selection of drinks. Bathrooms were nice and it's great to view the kitchen working away in the back area. Now for more food details. The group had the 5 course offering. Highly recommend the steak tartar as it was the groups favorite - "the Midwest's poke bowl" . The least favorite was the scallop dish as it was way too salty it overpowered the flavor profile and was bitter. The agnolotti pasta, pork belly, and banana assortment dessert were delectable.
