100000000 stars need to go to this place They have a clean establishment Very gentle for those who may be more sensitive And reasonable prices I walked in with a broken nail and left feeling so appreciative they didn't take advantage of me I got dip with a top coat under the light and paid $55 They are 4 minutes from O'Hare Ask for Peter he was such a delight read more

I been getting my nails done since I was 14 and I never had an issue with my nails. I got my nails done 3 weeks ago and I was looking at one of my nails and noticed discoloration so I took it off, fungus is growing on my nails! I called the salon to see if they could at least take my nails off without charging me and the person that I was on the phone with went back-and-forth, saying that this never happened to anyone before yeah it happened to me and all she said was she was still going to charge me for the removal. They either don't do the nails correctly after doing a fill or don't clean the tools. Obviously they don't care about the customers hands when she said regardless she was going to charge me. Never again will I go to that place. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but this place left me feeling so anxious and upset with how my nails look. Not only did I book an appointment time and that time was not honored but they had my companion wait 55 minutes between toes and nails. I'm going to have to pay to get my builder gel nails fixed because they look so awful. This is so sad and the lady at the front desk did not care at all. read more

I was excited to check out Vinci Nails in Des Plaines during their grand opening -- the salon is absolutely beautiful! It's a clean, modern, and state-of-the-art facility, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the services didn't quite live up to expectations. My husband had the Milk & Honey pedicure, and while the staff did apologize for the long wait, they ended up pouring boiling hot water directly onto his foot when trying to warm it up -- which ended up scalding him. During the same service, the hot stones used were extremely hot to the point where both he and the technician were visibly uncomfortable. As for my own services, I appreciated the attention to detail and the variety of options offered, but the quality just didn't match the presentation. It felt like a lot of extras were added, but the basics of a good manicure were missed. As shown in the pictures I took immediately after getting home, my nails and cuticles weren't fully cleaned, and for a no-chip mani and pedi that took over two hours, that was a bit disappointing. I really hope these are just growing pains for a new salon -- they're conveniently located for me and I love supporting local businesses. However, for now, I may stick to my regular salon where I know what kind of service and quality to expect. read more

Oh boy! Thought I would try this new salon. The sign on the front said grand opening.(no date mentioned) up to 40% off all services. I walked in and a gal welcomed me and was pleasant. I had to check in through a screen. It is my name and what service I wanted. I went to pick my color and of course they called me back right away. A man was going to start on my feet. Did not even introduce himself or say who he was until I asked. As he's doing my pedicure, he started putting polish on. Then he was gonna put a top coat and I tried to tell him no two coats of polish. He didn't seem to understand English very well other than what colored do you want. He completed when he was doing. Told me that I had to wait about 10 minutes. He came back and went to help me with my flip-flops. Needless to say, he smudged the big toe. It happens. He did fix the big toe and walked away. The pleasant gal came back. She asked if I thought my toenails were dry. I said no. After all, he had just fixed the big toe. With that, she took her finger and touched the big toe and another toe to see if they were dry. I told her that she smudged the big toe. She said that she did not touch them and showed me her fingers. She looked and saw that it was smudged. She then asked me if I touched them and I said no. To which she took my hands and looked to see if I lied if I had any polish on my fingers. I did not. The man who did my nails came back out and they said something in their language. I asked them to please speak English. She did redo my tall and as she's redoing, it asked me if I'd like to get my nails done. Fingernails were pretty bad. I asked her why would I want you to do my fingernails when I don't like how you did my toenails? My nail dried and I left. Never to return again. I think the final straw was when she took my hand to see if I lied. Next day, one of my toes was swollen. That certainly did not make me very happy. AND I paid full price. They had something inside that said the percentage was only good on June 1. read more

First time in during soft opening. . . I highly recommend it! I have lived in the neighborhood for 10 years now. Coming from the city i had high expectations. I truthfully have not found "my" salon, and now I think I have! The staff is delightful, the ambiance is perfection. Do yourself a favor and upgrade the pedicure to the Rose Gold. . . a few extra pampering steps worth the $$$ I can not wait to come back! read more

Fantastic experience! Brand new salon--everything is beautiful and high quality. (I LOVE the massage chairs.) The staff is kind, attentive, and talented. I got a spa pedicure and gel manicure--both were excellent. This is one of the best nail salons I've ever been to! If I lived in Chicago, it would be my new regular salon. read more

My boyfriend, my mother-in-law, and I went to Vinci Nail Salon for mani-pedis, and we all had such a great experience! The salon is clean and relaxing, and the staff made sure each of us felt comfortable and well taken care of. They paid close attention to detail, and our nails came out looking amazing. It was such a nice experience to share together as a group, and we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Vinci if you're looking for a friendly and professional nail salon in Des Plaines! read more

Never going back. Tammy was awful. First insisted I gel gel on my TOES. For 20 dollars more of course. Then as I'm getting my pedicure she has me bent over sideways to take off my nail polish. I thought she was going to just wrap them but no she wanted to do my nails bent over sideways. She didn't bother to look that my nails were cracked and I needed tips on some. She acted shocked. Proceeds to do my nails and now cuts my cuticles so now I'm bleeding. That was it. Won't go back read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I got a GelX and they popped off in 24 hours! I have had several GelX sets and this has never happened. The salon refuses to provide a refund, only to redo the awful service they provided. I was hoping to find a nail place near work I could frequent but I will not be going back. Save your money! read more

Went to get a pedicure - no chip French with acrylic on just the big toes... the person doing the pedi was ok didn't speak much which is fine .. the acrylic application was sloppy so i asked her if she has a hand held drill to smooth it out and right away she got defensive saying "yeah yeah i have one" she looked as though she wasn't sure how to apply it .. which made me nervous.. instead of asking someone to step in for the acrylic and assist she just did her best ... then the French ... I asked her to thin out the line bc it was chunky and she told me it's better her way .... So in short it didn't matter what I was asking for. To avoid confrontation I just let her do what she wanted (a thick white line). I'm just tired of going to nail salons that do not listen to the paying customer. My request wasn't out of the ordinary and I wasn't mean when asking for things to be changed. Not sure if I'll return unfortunately. I think I'll spend the money to get Russian pedicures going forward too I love the customer service and my nails always come out exactly how I envision. This post isn't to stop people from coming just my honest review. Others in the salon seemed happy with the work. All of the staff were also very nice and welcoming and greetings were prompt and drinks were offered it was lovely aside from the two small discrepancies. read more

Went here to get a regular pedicure. I was disappointed by the service right away, but I think the technician I got was new so I was giving grace. I rarely leave bad reviews because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this technician put some kind of chemical on my cuticles and skin that made my skin blister and turn red and itchy. My experience is probably a one-off problem, but definitely something to be aware of because I have never had this happen to me at a pedicure before! read more

Very clean place and the service was thorough!!! Many colors to choose from. Peter did a great job!!!

Cecelia was great! this salon is super clean, everyone was so nice, and they took extra care to make sure the shape, color, and length were exactly as I wanted. As someone who normally does my own acrylic and gel sets this was a great find!! 10/10 would recommend! I also went with two other friends and they both had great experiences as well with pedicures and get sets. (I got a full acrylic set) read more
