Vincenzo's Place - Pizza Near Me - York, Pennsylvania

Pizza: WOW! I have made special trips to New York City just to have Joe's pizza. Now I just need to drive around the corner to Vincenzo's. My daughter brought this home for the first time last night and it was so good. We went and got another pizza tonight for crying out loud. read more

We tried this place with family from out of town and they said it was pretty good pizza. Coming from NYC that is a great review! I also enjoyed the pizza. The crusty was crispy and the sauce wasn't candy sweet. The cheese could've been more cheesy flavor such as more Romano and or fontina cheese. I enjoy my slice with herbs, salt garlic and peperoncini, yummy!!! We also ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was a great portion and sauce again was very good not too sweet! Everything was so fresh. The location is not far from Perrydale Dairy farm. It was easy to find and has amble parking. Very friendly and wonderful service, they brought the food to the table. The best part is the place smells very clean! The only dirt I noticed was bathroom doors need to be wiped clean. Other than that, I intend on trying more items on their menu. read more

Wow it's been a long time since Yelp let me down. This place rated 4.5 stars and imho barely was worth 1 star. They charged for extra sauce on the pizza (which some reviewers raved over). Ok I can understand that BUT the sauce was SO forgettable. I ordered a cheesesteak and asked for everything (lettuce tomato mayo fried onions and hots). They charged me twice for hots ( bad enough for charging for them at all but to fleece me for two charges? Usually included). Worst part was despite being charged twice the hots were tasteless. Cheesesteak was entirely subpar. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Do your self a favor and skip this dump. read more

Everything goes well at Vincenzo's. Food is delicious, service is excellent and you will not be disappointed.

Great food! They truly do care about serving up a great meal, consistently ! From their sandwiches to their one of the yummiest chicken Alfredo.... Bravo! read more

Vincenzo's has been our go-to for pizza for a long time, meaning we were very happy with their pizza. However, the last two times have been not good, particularly tonight's fare. We ordered a Sicilian pizza, and my goodness, it was awful. The dough didn't seem to rise enough so it was half as high as it should be, and the crust was hard as a rock. I didn't even give it to my dog to chew on. Also, there wasn't enough sauce. I am very disappointed. They get one more attempt and then I'm going to have to look elsewhere for when the pizza bug bites. read more

Fresh made food, not packaged. Very pleasant owner and staff. They make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this place. Molto Bene!

This restaurant is really good. The food is freshly mto. Steak subs are very good but if you DON'T want onions you have to say so Pizzas are very good. Everything was ready on time. read more

The pizza was decent, but nothing special. The service was good but I got it to go. I don't remember much about the ambiance to be honest.

Pizza! I especially like their Vincenzo special pizza. White pizza is good too. I want to try their cheese pizza soon. And lunch sandwiches are good too. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through and glad I did. I love the thin crust they have and the cheese actually tastes like cheese not like the plastic so many places have. Great sauce not too overwhelming. The only shortfall is they do not serve beer. read more

Vincenzo's Place - Slice of cheese - Pizza Near Me - York, Pennsylvania

Vincenzo's is a nice Family restaurant . When you walk in, you'll see that the restaurant is named for the Family's son and that these folks are true people of faith. We felt as if we had known them for years, and they treated all the patrons that way. They have a very busy take-out business. We chose to dine in. The pizza was delicious and extra Parmesan, Seasoning were available to take to the table. We had pepperoni pizza and the meat lovers Stromboli. It was very good but was missing the mustard , which is a preference of ours. I loved the atmosphere where are diners would talk to us. Many love all items on their menu. We were so full that we could not find room for Cannolis! FYI- This is BYOB and the soft drinks are canned or bottled. No fountain drinks. We will be back and will find room for those cannolis! Stopped in for some food on a random day while i was in the area and i must say i was amazed. The shop was clean, floors mopped, bathrooms were spotless and it smelled like they knew how to make a pizza. I decided to eat in and at the first bite I was transported back to the days of awesome skating ring pizza, classic video games, and 80's music. Although i like about 45 minutes away, i'll definitely be back! read more

Their menu says a Sicilian style pizza has 3 different types of meats and veggies. But apparently it's a thick crust cheese pizza seeing that's what they sold it so me as. Thank you for leaving your dumpster open. It's where I placed your pizza and rate your establishment. read more

We really like the pizza.. The secret is in the sauce.. Haven't tried anything else on the menu.. The place is extremely clean and the guys behind the counter are there to help.. read more

Stopped on our road trip. Quick and easy off the highway. Delicious pizza! Highly recommend!!!

I would give this a "0" rating if it was possible We were told that this was more than just a place for Pizza and had great Italian dinners. Having moved to this area from the NYC metropolitan area we have been searching for a good Italian restuarant that is more than a pizzeria We got there for lunch and ordered baked penne and eggplant Parmesan. While waiting for our meal my wife heard the microwave oven start up. She said I think they are microwaving our food. I thought it might have been another order and hoped for the best. Unfortunately, she was right and our "baked" in an traditional oven was actually microwaved instead. There is/was no excuse for this as the place was not busy and no self respecting, real Italian restuarant would serve microwaved food instead of baked as advertised on the menu. Be aware when yougo there if looking for real Italian food read more

This has become my go to place for a quick and affordable lunch. Pizza is great and service is fast.

LOVED this restaurant! We ordered mozzarella sticks and a medium pepperoni pizza and ate in the restaurant. Everything was delicious and the pizza crust was so good! The two guys who were working there were really kind - the service was great. They closed at 8 pm on a Wednesday night so go early. I hope to visit York again so we can go back!!! read more

Friendly service and the food was good. Came here on our most recent trip to PA. Try this place out.

Moved to York four years ago and Vincenzo's remains the best pizza I have had in this area. The people are always friendly and the pizza crust is the best I have ever eaten! You can get cheaper, but you won't find better. read more

Best pizza in York. Period, no questions. Sicilian was outstanding. Can't believe it took me 3 years to find this place.

I'm from California and this is by and far THE BEST pizza crust I have EVER had... their brooklyn style cheeze pizza was just like the one I got at Times Square many years ago.... Best customer service... owner was amazingly hospitable and honestly anyone that has left a bad review has to be some competitor or a grouchy person because this is customer service and quality you rarely find! -Adam San Diego, CA read more

This is how Pizza should be! I love the big, floppy pieces dripping with cheese. Every time I go there, the people are so pleasant. It doesn't help that it's only about 5 minutes from my house, but I would travel to come here and get their Pizza. Their Stromboli is also very good , as are their sandwiches. Their prices are also reasonable. Skip the big chains and support the local guys! read more

Delicious pizza and subs. Always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our new favorite pizza shop in York!

WOW this place is so good! My family and I had ordered for take-out and we had orded a large cheese pizza, a small stromboli, and a small calzone. The pizza was amazing! I usually only eat about 1-2 slices especially if it's a large size but it was so irrestistable that there were only TWO SLICES LEFT! :) My husband loved the calzone and was very surprised on how large the small portion was and for the price. We will definitely be making Vincenzo's our new pizza place! read more

Pizza, cheesesteak and calzone were delicious! The only thing better was how nice the owner and others working there were. Great place! Thanks for the Vincenzo's T-shirt. read more
