The pizza at Sal's has always been great, and it's one of the best place places to eat in the Shrewsbury area. It's crispy, cheesy, and delicious. The subs are just as good, wether it is an Italian cole cut, or a chicken cheesesteak, you won't be disappointed, especially with the delicious sub rolls they have. The sandwiches such as their cheeseburgers are also great, with a nice bun to meat ratio that won't dissapoint for lovers of a classic cheeseburger. The service is always fast, and the inside is nice and cozy. We go to Sal's, and you should too. read more

I ordered carry out wanting an Italian cold cut . Not sure if they ran out of meat that night but really. One piece of ham and one pepperoni and a slice of cheese. Talking about a wish sandwich lol . Maybe the pizza is good but I do not recommend the Italian cold cut. read more

So we stopped in Sal's for the second time. A few years ago we tried it and found a place we preferred. We decided to give it a second chance and we are glad we did. The pizza is large. It could use a little more cheese but if you are a more sauce than cheese this is a good pizza for you. We picked up some boneless wings. We got the sweet and chili and everybody loved them. They were crispy and nice flavor. We also got a quesadilla.... yes at a pizza shop. The quesadilla was good. It had a lot of cheese and the tortilla was clearly crisped on a flat top. We tried the sal's special sub. It was good. It had a lot of oregano on it so if you do not like that you should order it without. The bread was really unique. It is almost like a sweet roll but in a sub roll. It wasn't too much bread but is a nice change from a traditional store bought roll. It is clearly homemade. The real winner was the cheese bread. My daughter does not like sauce on her pizza. This was a cheesey thicker pizza crust and had marinara for dipping if you want it. It was entirely eaten and my daughter will want it again. The service was great. We walked in and for some reason I never submitted my order. The husband and wife were working and they took the order fast and got it completed quickly and accurately despite my goof up. They were kind and grateful for our business which is nice on a Saturday late morning. We got a lot of food for $50. I think the value was there and I am sure we will come back. There still is pizza in the area I prefer but some of the other things we got make this a real possibility for a family night meal. read more

Only had Sal's twice in the last 2 weeks. Daughter just moved into town. Got subs from there the first time the steak and cheese with onions and mushrooms ordered them without the marinara sauce, they came with the marinara sauce but you know what, they were really good! Got a slice of pizza to try and it was very good! So the second time we went we got a whole pizza! It will be my go-to pizza place anytime I visit my daughter! read more

We called in an order. When we got there, no one was at the counter. When other customers came in, a worker came out from the back and took their orders and went back. Another worker came out and asked what we wanted. When we said we had called in an order, the worker went back. 15 minutes went by and the walk-in customers were getting their orders. To the owner of Sals you never seem to not miss a chance to disappointment me when you get the opportunity! I've given you chance after chance to redeem yourself ! I must say you once again screwed that opportunity over once again! (Not my choice to eat here but i will object in the future!) Two words for you Quality Control!! I ordered a large Sals Special Stromboli with Sausage. I started to eat it and noticed the crust seemed tough to cut through with a serrated butter knife. So I grabbed a steak knife and finished eating a portion and noticed the occasional burned taste. In order to store in the refrigerator I divided into smaller portions and once again buy doing so had a difficult time cutting through only to find what you'll see in photo. As you can tell by now I'm pretty disgusted as my order was over $40. I can assure you I will Never Ever spend a single cent or step in your establishment. It's pretty disappointing to give more than second chances and nothing is done to improve. Chef Ramsey needs to pay a visit! read more

I take care of disabled individuals for a living. One of the individuals I take care of called in an order and realized that we had to cancel it because they didn't have the funds to pay for it. I called, and the manager (I believe, who was the man working there) picked up. I apologized to him and said that we were going to have to cancel the order. I tried to explain that this person had a disability and that they didn't know they didn't have the finances available. It was an honest mistake. I apologized again for the inconvenience, and in the middle of me trying to explain this person's situation, he just hung up on me which was very rude. I have been here several times before and their customer service was not the best. After the way I was treated on the phone yesterday, and experiencing this man's lack of compassion for the disabled, this place has lost all of my respect. I will not be coming back here. read more

They have great pizza. We haven't tried anything else off of the menu except for salad which was fresh and tasty. A couple of times the young lady behind the counter was rude but I don't expect much from a barely dressed teen. I only wish they opened earlier than 12 on Sunday so we could pick up a pizza after church and before a ravens game. read more
