After three visits and $650, they still couldn't find the problem, which turned out to be defective intake valve lifters when I took the car for GM Service at my dealer, Botnick Chevrolet, where the total bill (including front brake pads) was $2112. Avery used to be a good place nearby to my house for service and repairs. No longer, I believe their service has really degraded. I am never returning.

And he's a patriot, to boot! Honestly, I have dealt with more than my fair share of auto repair shops and mechanics over may many decades of life. I've had pretty rotten luck with cars - could be the way I drive, I guess. When my wife and I mentioned to a friend we were looking for an honest auto repair shop, they recommended BHM, so we tried. Right away, we could see we were dealing with honest, hard-working people who care about their customers' satisfaction. Some of the repairs Steve and his crew have made on my vehicles over the years are mind-boggling. The one that stands out the most: because I was hauling a LOT of heavy stuff in my Mazda Tribute, one of the wheel wells actually rusted out and the strut broke through. I thought the car was toast. Steve figured out a way to weld it back together good as new. And best of all: all the work they do comes at what I believe to be a reasonable price. They know vehicles, they're dependable, do great work, and don't charge an arm and a leg. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I wish 5 stars wasn't the limit.

Highly recommend taking your Jeep or Offroad what ever to them. I will be back the 2 1/2 hour drive to get the other side of the frame fixed when it's time. Thank you so much I can't say enough!

After he changed the tire, he even tested it on the road! I was shocked bc it's the first time this has ever happened for me. I usually get my tires done in queens, and no one cares about what happens after they switch out the tires. He even helped me pump up my donut! My current car is still kicking and screaming even at 220K miles/13 years and I credit part of that to their maintenance work. I'm deducting one star only because sometimes it can be hard to get a hold of the desk to schedule an appointment and they often forget to call back when the job is done ... you have to call to check up at the end of the day. But they always deliver the car when promised, so it's not too big of a deal. I do wish they had online booking for appointments and text notifications that the work is done like I've had at other garages.
