5 stars and then some! I had a vision for a donut bar for an event I was hosting and Vincent was the best addition to the event. I chatted with Jordan and told her my budget and she worked with me to make it a success. We had a mixture of flavors (12 for a zodiac theme) and each donut was incredible in its own way. The donuts are quite large so we cut them into fourths and it was great for a tasting. Crowd favorites were the lemon lavender and the maple bacon, however you can't go wrong with anything you get. They also serve coffee and espresso drinks. The pick up process was easy and flawless. Highly recommend! read more

Great donuts. They are huge and have unique, fancy flavors and serve them on cute little plates it you are dining in. I opted for the lemon lavender, and it had a subtle amount of lavender flavor. It would have been amazing paired with a cup of coffee, but they had no decaf options so I had a cup of water instead. Service was great and friendly! read more

Went here on 7/3/25. Wow! All the donuts looked so good! Get there early, cause they close when they run out. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They also do some coffee. Delicious food a friendly staff! She was very helpful in breaking down their menu and telling us about each of their specialties!

Being a donut place, they have limited hours, and being small batch, they regularly sell out. That being so, it took me a long time to get here early enough to try it out. I was not disappointed. As others have mentioned, the donuts are quite large. They're more expensive than a regular donut shop, but so worth it. I'm more of a cake donut fan, and so the chocolate old fashioned (cake) donut I had was great. However, I also tried one of their glazed donuts (blueberry cheesecake), and it was excellent as well. You just can't go wrong with here outside of stopping by after they've sold out for the day. Highly recommended! read more

The donuts taste amazing! One of the best speciality donut shops in STL. I ordered half a dozen for friends and I which included Blueberry Cheesecake, Apple Cheesecake, Lemon Lavender, Vanilla Glazed and Chocolate Peanut Butter. My favorite was the Blueberry Cheesecake and the Chocolate Peanut Butter. The staff were cordial and knowledgeable about the selections. Bear in mind that these donuts are pricey and for me a once in awhile or special event kind of purchase. Each donut is around 4-5 dollars. Besides the price, the quality is top notch. Make sure you arrive early because they do stop selling when sold out. read more

They take doughnuts to a whole new level with handcrafted, artisanal creations that are just as beautiful as they are delicious. From rich Nutella to tangy lemon curd mousse, samoa and indulgent pecan pie, every flavor is a work of art. Beyond the incredible flavors, the atmosphere is fun and inviting--perfect for a weekend treat or a midweek pick-me-up. Whether you're a classic doughnut lover or someone who loves trying bold, creative flavors, this place never disappoints. Definitely one of St. Louis' best gems! read more

Small shop, big personality -- clearly run by people who know exactly what they're doing. Gourmet, unique, confident without trying too hard. We came in with our 4-year-old, who spotted a donut pen on the counter. The woman behind the counter immediately slid him a pad of paper so he could use it -- a small gesture, but the kind of hospitality that sticks. That gave us a moment to drool over the donuts, which looked so good it almost hurt to decide. Then Mike came out -- jovial, rocking a Hawaiian flowered hat, the kind of guy you instantly want to hang out with. He noticed the other coffee we had, and when we told him it was disappointing, he looked genuinely pained. Then he poured us a couple of drips from his Sump partnership -- and suddenly, faith restored. The donuts? Fluffy, perfectly sweet, balanced. More than dessert -- an experience. We're only in town for two days, and we'll be back tomorrow. In a world where hospitality is disappearing, places like this remind you it's still alive and worth seeking out. read more

When I first came here a few weeks ago they were closed because they had sold out so this time I came earlier and they still had a few that were sold out, but I got six different donuts and I got a good variety of them and wow, the quality amazed me. They are very filling and so flavorful. I really like this cute donut shop and I highly recommend everyone tries it at least once and make sure to get there in the morning. The workers are also very friendly and will help make recommendations!! read more

Was excited to try but didn't realize they wouldn't make enough donuts to last through their listed service hours. Wish the website said 7am to selling out instead of 7-2. I showed up at 10:45 on a Sunday which is well before their closing time and they were completely sold out and closed. If this was listed on their website I would have known to come early or at least expect they would be sold out. Looking through the other reviews seems like this is a common issue. Could the company not make more donuts? Or change their closing time to be more realistic? I feel bad for wasting my time and gas for a company that doesn't seem to respect their customers enough to address their inventory issue. I probably won't try to come back. read more

Absolutely incredible experience and fabulous employees!! I never been to the location before today and I was thoroughly impressed and blown away. you are probably greeted with a smile! I really enjoy Vincent Van Doughnut. They have a ton of innovative doughnuts to serve every preference from indulgent to fruity and even savory sometimes. I like that they have a good mix of yeast and cake options and that despite the higher prices, the doughnuts are huge! All the staff are all in on their craft and it is refreshing. They are so welcoming and helpful and it brings a very positive ambiance especially with all the natural lighting from the big windows. The doughnuts were GREAT! tried the vanilla as well as the chocolate salted caramel doughnuts and they were both phenomenal. The chocolate salted caramel was really well balanced as neither component was overbearing and it worked out really well. Just a heads up that they are very rich though so even though they look like you wanna eat the whole store down think with your mind and not your stomach. read more

The interior of the restaurant is super cute and inviting. Although seating options are somewhat limited, most people grab their donuts to-go anyway. All of the donuts are super picture-worthy! They each possess their own unique elements. Very sweet, very delicious, and very filling! You can definitely tell that the donuts are made fresh everyday. Love this donut shop; they make some of the best artisanal donuts in town. Their brioche style and old fashioned cake style donuts are so great that I love to get their vanilla glazed brioche or chocolate old fashioned. The different flavors they offer are each carefully crafted whether you're after something that's filled with custard, topped with fresh lavender and lemon flavors, or going for something topped with crunchy elements or chocolate. I also find the service to be great. The only downside is they sell out quickly and may have only a few flavors by noon so it's best to come in the morning. read more

I would recommend going earlier (closer to opening) as they sell out fast! I went in on a weekday morning around 10:30am and they only had 6 donuts left!! (I got 5 of them). I'd review the donuts but the fact I've been here twice in the last two weeks and haven't been able to even get them within 40 minutes of opening is ridiculous. I understand the overwhelming support for the establishment, but not having anything to sell 30 minutes after opening is kinda unacceptable. Especially to people waking up this early to come get them. read more

Great customer service! Their staff is very friendly. As with all of my favorite donut spots in STL - you have to go early if you want some of their top sellers because they sell out. Mmmm.... Delicious, decadent, delightfully creative doughnuts. If that's your thing, I suggest you get yourself over to Vincent Van Doughnuts. Last month, we stopped in a bit after 1 PM, when I realized I was right next door to the store. I'd just had lunch, but figured we could snag some for later. We finally ate them day-old. No matter.
