Researching and ultimately finding the right dog trainer & vet was harder than finding the right…read moreschool & pediatrician for my kids. We are about half way into our training package with our 4 month old Golden Retriever and so far the level of expertise and the results have been outstanding. Kristin and staff are extremely knowledgeable, super patient and very good at what they do. I look forward to taking our pup to the next level and truly having an off the leash trained dog. I highly recommend Unleashed!

I searched out training facilities, watched YouTube videos, asked neighbors, family & friends about how to train this new pup but knew it was not going well. Meanwhile my son's 80# 4 year old Catahoula was living with me and while he was house trained, the training ended there. When I first spoke with Kristen I knew the experience was going to be different - due to COVID. I could not travel and her facility was not taking new clients at the time. Due to circumstances, Kristen continued to work with me virtually and gave me the option of doing the on-line training. Although I was skeptical at first, this was an AMAZING Experience. I obtained the videos and trained at my pace. I would watch a video, try the technique taught, and then watch the video again. I took my time but created a consistent and timely training plan with my very motivated puppy. I started to try some of the techniques on the Catahoula and was amazed that you can teach an older dog new tricks! Highly recommend this program & Kristen is an awesome trainer to work with. Thank you for all of your support!

But none of this would be possible without the exceptional guidance and personalized help we've had over the past several years from the team at Good Dog. Do yourself a favor, and sign up for class today. You won't regret it! Here's the reality... I had no idea how to train a dog. I thought it was something you do for a couple of months, and maybe you get a dog that listens to you. But Anne's approach of really helping dog owners understand dog psychology and effective techniques for breaking skill-building into bite-sized chunks helped me reshape my thinking and develop the patience and consistency needed to get an incredible result. I never dreamed that I could have a dog that listens as well as Sierra. How well does Sierra listen? Well, her recall is so good that she came running up 2 flights of stairs when I previewed the video I chose to include in this review. Just from the whistle in the video. I thought that kind of behavior was outside of my abilities to achieve. But Good Dog helped me realize that training a dog doesn't have to be a burden -- it's a lot easier than you think. It just requires consistency and a bit of oversight from a knowledgeable expert. Point is... You could have this for your dog, too!

All he cares about is money. I was in a desperate situation and he knew it.. over $10,000 later,…read moreand he - did nothing for aggression issues - no obedience training. (My dog had been abused by his first owner. ) he said about marking - "oh thats a hard one" Really? And again no help or advice. He'd say, oh we got this and a another 5 days - perfect, that would do it. What a fool i was. Example - We had a session, that was supposed to be an hour. I knew I had to cut it short at the end. But the appointment started at 11:30, and Tom got there at 11:50, with no apology or offer to give me my money back. Approximately $83. A couple of other times I needed to cancel, and he bullied me into not cancelling. I cannot believe I gave him that much money . Thats all he cared about. His anger is a bit scary too. Never taught me what to do. When I would say to him, my dog is so reactive, he would say(if you can believe it), " well he doesn't do that here" ... for many behaviors, his response was the same, "well he doesn't do that with me..." Oh wait, yes... he did teach my dog to "walk w manners ". I was never even taught how and when to give him treats as reinforcement. What a joke. I would have preferred to burn the money instead. I failed because he failed. And walked away with nearly $11,000 of mine. I totally trusted him. I have found a REAL trainer who said that taking that kind if money from me was just wrong. I GOT NOTHING OUT OF IT BECAUSE HE GAVE ME NOTHING.

Tom made our dog's aggression worse by purposely setting her off by turning his back and wearing a hood. He didn't speak to our dog, and he made himself an altering presence by not showing his face to our dog. Before entering our house, Tom gave us no directions as to how to react to our dog's aggressive behavior. He didn't instruct us as to if we should interfere or not. I felt on edge because I didn't know what to do and I'm sure our dog felt my uneasiness. Tom snapped at me saying "Don't talk to her like that" for trying to calm down our dog which probably made her even more mad because now her owner is being spoken to harshly. Again, I didn't know what to do, he hadn't told us anything before entering our house. He was rude, kept talking poorly about her breeder and asking questions about her breeder that we didn't have answers to. Clearly stated that my husband and I couldn't afford the 3 week boarding and training that he does. He was just plain rude. His bottom line was that our "set-up" wasn't good for her and we most likely won't be able to handle her. After he left, our dog was so on edge, she was growling at night, barking at the windows, was staring at the spot he sat in, and she's never done these things before. My husband has spoken to two other dog trainers and they both said that a person should NEVER turn their back to a dog due to that heightening their aggression and fear. He most likely did this in order to increase his price due to her "aggression" that he caused. I've been texting with a different dog trainer and she has given more advice that has been working than he had given in an 80 minute session. My dog is workable and I see that through the training from the other trainer.

Please save yourself the trouble and stay away from this place…read more I wanted to give this place a 5-star review however after paying for more than $1750 and a few months of onboarded training, as well as a few months of in-home follow-up visits, my dog was still not trained. I scheduled an evaluation on Monday, December 6th, 2021 for Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at 4:00 pm. I did this through their website on their automated calendar system. The slot for 4:00 pm was available. I received two automated emails that my appointment was confirmed. My husband and I took off of work. On December 8th, 2021 we arrived with our doggy. The worker came out and explained that our session was canceled by Emily because she had a dinner party to go to. The worker explained only Emily could do the evaluation, and we would have to come back another day. She stated Emily would reach out to me on how to move forward. On December 9th, 2021 Emily did reach out to us and this is when I began to become suspicious. Instead of Emily looking to reschedule with us, she sent us a thank you email for attending the evaluation. All of you can obviously guess the scam here. She wants to secure her $100 by claiming she delivered a service she never did. This email was not automated and from Emily as we would begin a long thread of arguments. The end game for us was to return our $100 since she was borderline committing a theft by deception. Emily claimed she was at an organizational dinner-party that happens once a year. Emily believed since she had called once that morning to cancel that was satisfactory and the fact I missed the call was my problem. It was less than 8 hours notice. Emily also claimed since I was complaining about not receiving the service she didn't want to work with my kind. It's pretty obvious Emily intended on stealing our $100. If she is the CEO and founder, she knew her holiday dinner-party was already scheduled and that she wouldn't be available for our appointment. She made no attempts to genuinely reach me after two days of the service being scheduled. And after just one email she stated she wouldn't evaluate my dog. Also, she explained when I stated I would seek a chargeback, that she has plenty of experiences with these situations and that it would be very hard to get my money back and "good luck." Continuing with the deceiving trend, her website states she is BBB certified but if you check this website she clearly is not. Emily is a liar all in all and doggy owners: BEWARE!!!!! Do not bring your dog there. Now that I'm doing more research it's a horror. Many reviews claim their dogs were traumatized or became sick while being in her custody. I know the claim there is three sides to a story. I have attached screenshots of the conversation so you all can be the judge.
