This place is an international buffet that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is no need for reservations. On a daily, they change their food offerings. It's a great place to try out different cuisines. We ate here most of our stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana because of the variety. Their staff was very attentive and always served you with a smile. Tips are optional. We loved their outdoor seating area with the view of the Caribbean sea.

Juices, bacon, sausage, all types of meats, omelet station, lots of fruit, tons of tea varieties, etc. All types of coffee are available including vera cruz and mexican coffee. The service was excellent too. Wait staff is very attentive and appear to enjoy what they do. Ambiance is nice and perfect for families with babies and kids. They even have an area for kids to play with toys while the families eat nearby. Dinner is really good here as well and lunch is okay. My favorite food to get here is their omelets and the papayas. WORTH IT. I literally had the equivalent of 10 whole papayas while I was here. My party thought I was nuts until they tried it themselves.

Left side is for kids with a gated kids' area and they even have baby food. How cool is that? Sure you do have sit down breakfast spots at the resort but I prefer to get whatever when I want instead of waiting to be brought to me. Saves precious time to enjoy the rest of the resort. Lunch was OK. They have a meat grilling and fish grilling station. You can never go wrong with grilled to order steak. They have a small sushi cart but I stayed away from it. It didn't look too appetizing. Sometimes they had a ramen station as well. I preferred to eat lunch by the pool where they grill different things everyday. I had 2 dinners here. Once I came around 8:30pm and another time as soon as it opened. Wasn't too impressed the first night but the 2nd time they had all kinds of seafood. Seafood is my jam and so that was the best dinner during the entire stay. We enjoyed fresh oysters, tuna sashimi, different kinds of ceviche, crab legs...the works. I'm not sure if they rotate items on a daily basis but their seafood night is legit. Other family members loved the steak grilling station and the fish grilling station. Definitely recommend.

I also had a cantaloupe and pineapple plate and the fruit was so perfectly ripe, it was almost hard to pickup with a fork! My fiancé had the french toast after we heard another couple talking about it at check-in last night ... it truly didn't disappoint! You could see the granules of sugar on top mmmmhmmm! He also made his own chilaquiles ... look at that pickled onion on top - amazing! He also had this really delish candied pear that had a plop of whipped cream on top, as well as other fruits. We, together with 2 other families went to Krysal Cancun to celebrate my daughter's birthday last…read moreNov. 8-13. The hotel is ok. I will say 3.5 stars and not as luxurious and exclusive as the hotels we are used to going (Great parnassus (Seadust), Grand Sirenis, Villa palmar, Garza Blanca, Serenade(Punta Cana). Rooms are ok, food selection limited. There is no entetrainment and the lobby for night gathering is very small and most of the time, the bar couldn't keep up. If there's one thing, it would be the beach as they have the best beachfront and calm water of all the resorts we have been to. Where it went south for us is when we attended the the presentation by the mexican Elvis - Carlos David Ruiz, and was offered the Eskape by Krystal which in one word is just based on a big lie to get you to buy. To summarize, the membership will give you access to the eskape by krystal platform where you can get exclusive deals and promises the following: 1. They will hand out flyers showing 5 star hotels such as Hard Rock, Nickelodeon, Marriott, Hilton, Disney, etc.. offering a 1 wk stay for members, any room type any time at $499.00 or less, guaranteed! 2. A $1500 annual credit that you can use for ANY BOOKING - hotels, trips, vacations, airfare, cruises.. 3. Gives you cruise certificates for two that you can use by activating the certificate for $99.00 ALL IN! These are all LIES. First you won't have access to the site until they process your application. Total contract price is $4,000.00. So we paid a downpayment of $1925.00 on site ($1475 d/p and $450 for cost of contract), then another $500 after a week or 2 for the platform and the remaining $1575.00 paid monthly for 1 yr. Basically by the time you get to review the platform, you would have been back to your home country and already would have paid the minimum $2425.00. Once you are in, here's where the lies get uncovered: 1. The $499 will not be for all the hotels in the platform. The hotels they have on the fliers are not even affiliated with krystal. There are select $499 hotels but these are the 1-2 star hotels / motels in places where nobody even goes for a vacation. You will find better deals on tripadvisor, booking.com, hotels.com and other free sites. 2. The annual credit can only be applied on bookings pre-selected by the platform. You do not have a choice! It's mostly available for redemption on hotels that are inflated 2-3x more than how much it would cost on the site or external sites! 3. The cruise certificate is yet another scam! You will have to pay $99.00 to activate your certificate. What this gives you is the ability to access another platform to see what discounted cruises you can avail of if you want to go on one! So they basically sell you another platform! I have been back and forth with Ivan Flores about how their sales associates blatantly lie on their presentation but they will have a boxed answer for everything insisting the fine prints and that they don'e honor the fliers or any other verbal promises. This is how they run their business. No business ethics whatsoever. I don't expect to see that money be refunded but we have stopped future payments and disputing the charges with our card company. Additionally, we have submitted a formal complaint with PROFECO. If I can save 1 or 2 people from buying this package, then I would have done my job. lessons learned, if it's too good to be true, it probably is STAY AWAY! 2 Stars (could have been better if the people presenting these packages were a tad honest)

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the hotel district, within walking distance to bars, shopping centers, and restaurants. It was especially convenient to walk to the nearby grocery store to pick up snacks, dinner, and bottled water. One thing to note is that the hotel's closeness to the nightlife can make it a bit noisy in the evenings. If you are sensitive to noise, consider requesting a room in a quieter section of the hotel. Additionally, if you arrive in the morning, the hotel will allow you to check in, but room keys are not distributed until 3 PM. This can lead to a crowded lobby around that time. To make the most of our time, my partner and I checked our luggage, explored the area, and relaxed by the pool while waiting. Overall, this is a great destination for a vacation, and the area feels very safe. The pool area is lovely with relaxing lounge music, and the beach is stunning: clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. We would consider staying at another Krystal resort in the future.

Never feel bad passing on meat that doesn't sound good or asking for more servings if you specifically prefer a certain cut. Would highly recommend giving it a try at least once. *They also have Valet parking included if you have a car.

We had been walking in the area earlier that day and made a plan to come back for dinner. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated immediately. People were enjoying themselves and the wait staff was friendly and talkative. I ordered shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the mole. He always orders mole. The meals were very good. We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families. I'm sure the place gets a little more livelier as the night goes on. If you are in the area, this is a good place to eat and enjoy your time in Cancun.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!
