Not very Common for a market!!…read more Everything here is exceptional. I love all the fruit, I literally just ate a peach and was so compelled to write about it. The staff, while is mostly comprised of college age hippies are knowledgeable and actually care. The whole store is very clean and the meat counter while very small screams old school home made!! The sausages looked so good I had to buy some, and after cooking them up with some onions and peppers my neighbors above me who are vegans were peeking as they chewed their grass and had to rethink their decisions on eating food that my food eats. There are fresh made sandwiches that they will press for you and give it that grilled awesomeness that only comes when your doing something special with meat and cheese and good bread pressed with 400 degrees of steel resulting in a sandwich that makes you want to light a subway franchise on fire. Now on my most recent trip, covid is rampantly knocking off people so a lot of the fun stuff has been put away. Normally they have fresh cooked food that you can box up hot and take and eat. The selection ranges from American favorites like loaf of meat and spaghetti to Indian food to soups and salads ( spinach salad is good, the dressing makes it the bomb dot com ) and fresh cookies and breads oh my. ( Public Notice: no lions or tigers ) You will spend more money per item here than Walmart. They don't have as good of a selection as Wegman's. They don't have a coupon app thingy that makes you think your saving money like everyone else. But you will feel like your saving baby seals and once you leave and start to load stuff into your vehicle a rabbit will wink at you in a attempt to say thank you. The lesson here is pay more money for food that tastes like food and not canned crap. Yes, we all like to save money, and that's noble. But there is a time to eat your extra long chili cheese coney ( much love sonic ) and there is a time to bite into a peach and feel like your a little kid again and have wonderful sweet juice roll off your chin and life is once again, is worth living. Stay hungry my friends, - JW

Jubilee in Emmitsburg, MD features friendly, helpful, attentive, and pleasant staff. Jubilee has a…read morenice assortment and size of produce fruit and vegetable products. The meat & seafood department has fresh items and nice portion sizes for subs and sandwiches. They will feed you and won't skimp on the portion sizes which is an added bonus when going to local, small country style marts. The vibe is laidback, and the shopping experience is calm and not overly crowded and fast paced like more urban and suburban shopping experiences. The parking lot was not overly crowded and hectic again like more urban and suburban places. It is calm and serene out in this part of Maryland near the Pennsylvania border. The only thing is that the store is small which makes sense as this is a more rural part of Maryland, and also the store is a little dated. It would be nice to have more of a modern appeal and feel to it and not antiquated. Brighter and more vibrant look and not dull and dated would be great for this store. The store is in a scenic area with a mountain in the background. (Part of the Catoctin Mountain range of the Appalachian Blue Ridge mountains) All in all, this is a charming local grocery store in a more rural part of Northern Frederick County. A grocery store is a grocery store but being near the countryside with a lot of farmlands nearby, the higher quality fresher foods is what attracts people than what urban and suburban stores have going on.

The staff seems to be super friendly only with customers they know. Make sure to check their hours before heading out because they can close pretty early, I think on Sundays even earlier. Barely any ethnic selections, but they a good amount of local products.

So after meeting her local in person (and following her story for years before) I started going to whole foods again! This time in Reston location was to pick up more Unami sauce and some burts bee lip blam (cold season). While there, they have amazing fresh meals prepared and it allowed me and my lil to each choose our own meal for the day something we'd both love. I tried the spicy salmon on top of rice with side of veggies. The lil... well choose a pizza slice... then proceeded to eat half my rice and complain my salmon was too spicy lol. Memories to remember :) Will be back!

This meant that we…read morecould now walk there, so we wouldn't have to deal with the horrible parking situation at Plaza America. Like others who have also reviewed the new one, I, too, envisioned it would be like the ones in Fair Lakes and Ashburn. But, alas, no :( Still, it is far better than the old location. While this one doesn't offer any seating areas where one can order food, it is more spacious. Thus, their produce section is larger than the meat and seafood sections. Although they brag about having a huge cheese selection, it's about the same size as it was before. The problem regarding the size of the place is most likely because Reston doesn't have a spot for a huge store. Unless they were to find a plot of land in a good location, then build a free-standing one. That would be pricey! We think the aisle signs could be better labeled. For example, we wanted to get some tofu, but despite wandering around, I couldn't find it. Finally, I saw an employee and asked him. He directed me to a refrigerated case that was near the bakery and sushi counter. Otherwise, we found everything we wanted to get. So, yes, we will return...but not to do all our shopping there. They don't call it "Whole Paycheck" for nothing.
