Spinach wrap with egg spinach feta cheese

I am so happy they came back! I had to definitely go back and check it out and the new spot is such an improvement from the previous one. Very big and bright deli. There are tables to sit in and enjoy your meal. I ordered take out but the flavor is still delicious as always! It was beyond amazing so see many familiar faces from the original village hero! I am def coming back to the new location! I love the fact that the menu is 95% the same!!!!!! Couple of new things but their menu items have been great!!!

Food is still top notch but the prices are way too high. One hero shouldn't be over $20. Too expensive for me.

Tonight, Sean took good care of us and we enjoyed the heck out of a little mini smorgasbord. We ordered John's classic, which is a chicken pressed with bacon mozzarella and served with some gravy. Sweet potato fries on the side were amazing as always. Some chicken wings with garlic Parmesan and the best of all those very special press-tones. Excellent plantain fried crispy to serve as the bed and then the sweetest most savory delectable pulled brisket on top with those sweet red onions pickled to perfection. Magnifique!

The staff and event organizers were on point with the timing of the event. Service was on point with taking and serving the kids food first followed by the adults. The event had a set menu for adults and kids. For the kids order we got the hot dog, which came with chips, pickles, and apple slices. For the adults, my husband got the combo consisting of #39 half sandwich with fries and I got the #55 half sandwich with the breaded chicken with chicken soup. We also had ginger ale, diet coke and strawberry lemonade. My husband finished the entire dish. I just ate the chicken noodle soup which was generous and it hit the spot for me. I ate my hot sandwich en route home which was nice and comforting. Brownies were served at the end, which we took our portion home. Food quality was great, it can get pricey. We had a great experience and would return if there was another event since it's a bit of a drive to get here.

I always go for one of the ever changing homemade syrups in some formation of a hot espresso drink. There is something about their tuna salad with carrots & peas that is addictive. The bread they use for their toast??? AMAZING. Not to be overlooked, the pastry case. Their chocolate croissant, is unlike any other I have had. Service is lovely. Staff is patient, kind, accommodating. Plenty of tables, couple of couches, lots of people doing work on their laptops. Mongo's is located on the side of the building so you will not see it from the street.

You would THINK you are in the city. Very busy even on a weekday. Very nice workers. The customers are mostly young professional all working on their laptops and drinking their fancy coffees and lattes. There's definitely some sort of an uppity vibe here. Many different options for drinks and a decent amount of pastries and small bites to choose from. I ordered the iced matcha latte and the fancy tuna. To be honest I thought the food and drink were just okay. Matcha latte could probably use some syrup. And the fancy tuna was just that... canned tuna smothered with cheese on top over a thick piece of grained toast - I thought the random green peas were an odd touch. Love the little arugula side salad though because you can never go wrong with arugula. While I think the food and drink was worthy of three stars, the uniqueness of this establishment in Long Island definitely brings it up to four stars. There are plenty of parking which is always a big plus. It's a type of place I may come back to with a friend to have a drink and chit chat... that being said finding two seats together can be somewhat challenging during peak times as most people come here and appear to stay for a prolonged period of time.
