Montes yes is really good there is this one thing upon entrance that I don't like but that's besides the point. The garlic squares are fiiire! I only wish that the pepperoni's on the pizza were easier to take off. They already have pizza's in the oven to just serve ASAP that is really good service! I'm on my moms account read more

From the outside, you really wouldn't expect much, but we've heard so many good things about this place we had to give it a try. You will not be disappointed at all. I was shocked as to how many options they had and every pie looked like it was made with so much love. Let's just say, the pizza is so good, my husband came here for lunch and dinner on the same day. I had the rigatoni vodka slice which is unlike any other ziti slice I've ever had. Typical slice - they cook the pasta, throw it on top, throw some cheese on and call it a day. The way VM makes it - cook the pasta, make vodka sauce, mix is together and put it on top, top with more sauce and cheese and you have a meal on a slice of pizza. The sauce is amazing and you can taste the difference. This is hands down my new favorite pizza place and they have so many options (i'm talking over 20 different specialty pies), you're going to find something to satisfy every craving you have. read more

We met our good old friends at this restaurant. The service was superb. We ate and talked for about 3 hours. Lots to catch up. They had a Wide selection of pizza and Italian dishes. We will bring our family to this restaurant in the near future. Thank you!! read more

My brother in law has been raving about this place, and when I saw Elvis Duran mention it on Z100, I just knew I had to check it out FAST. Monte's has the best, most versatile selection of pizza flavors (is that the correct term here?) Anyway, there's at least 20 different types of pizzas you can get. Finally, I opted for the chopped eggplant and baked clam. I wasn't expecting the baked clam to be anything special, but it was THE BEST. The breading just gave it an excellent crunch. I also tried the buffalo chicken which had a nice kick and the American slice (cheese, tomato, bacon), which was my 2nd favorite slice. Not a cheap meal ($30 for 4 slices, 2 drinks, and small caesar salad) but we were very full and happily satisfied. i would definitely come back despite the distance from my house. read more

The variety here is amazing! I've never seen this many specialty slices all at once. The thin crust pesto was really good but truthfully, they all looked pretty good. When I first walked in, I was overwhelmed by all the choices and all the people. However, it is clear that there's great communication behind the counter - they are efficient and move rather quickly in an assembly line type of manner. A lot of people seem to come here during their lunch break (it's only 10 minutes away from Melville). There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is spacious. read more

I've been to Monte's once before today. I thought it was mediocre but then all my friends kept on revisiting the place. They said it's so amazing, they had to try everything. In all honesty, I don't know what I was thinking the first time. This place IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The amount of slices you can get are endless and I truly feel that they are all amazing. I went with the spicy grandma because my coworker said it was very spicy and it was good, but I also went with the Hawaiian slice. The spicy grandma was good but not as spicy as I thought it was. The Hawaiian slice I had at monte's was most likely the best Hawaiian slice I've ever had. I will be coming back more and more just to try every slice and get the full experience. read more

The place was empty on a Monday night. Yikes.... Not impressed with the wine choices. Ravioli were ok, marinara sauce was good. The grilled chicken was well seasoned and a good quality. The cannoli was not a good choice for dessert! read more

I have been going to Villa Monte for pizza for years. I have been a customer ever since it opened after Sal's Pizza went out of business. Enzo, Tony, and Mara are three of the nicest people you will ever want to meet. Hard working first generation Americans from Italy. They know pizza. Their pizza is fantastic. The grandma pizza, the regular pizza, any other concoction you can think of. They later expended into the store next door for Italian food. It's not as good as the pizza is but it's not bad for a quick, easy bite. My advice is to stick with the pasta dishes. If you're looking for cheap, you won't get it here. They're a tad on the pricy side for pizza, but I don't mind paying a little bit more for good food and good people. It's not a chain. It's just a good family business. I moved away from the area about 6.5 years ago. I can go in there and I will be greeted like I never left. They remember I moved to Florida. They ask about my siblings and my parents. The attention to customer service is what sets Villa Monte above the rest! read more

I just got off with this restaurant, I can't begin to tell you how pleasant it is to get treated with such respect and excellent customer service. Typically on Fridays we order pizza (grandma pie is to die for) cheese tortellini in a red sauce and sometimes a salad slice with feta - this is really such a hidden gem in Old Bethpage and blows La Piazza out of the water. I so highly recommend this place as they have amazing speciality pies ( & slices) and competent staff that never seems to disappoint. They have even accommodated me with curbside pick up during covid so I didn't have to bring my 4yo and 19 month old in. Thanks Villa Monte! read more

Z100 orders from here and there's a good reason: they're the best Long Island pizza everrrrrrr. Every slice imaginable. Sometimes I go plain Jane and I'm never disappointed. Guaranteed to have something to suit every person in your party/ family. read more

We had a horrible experience after calling earlier in the day to make sure they could accommodate our large party and being told it would be no problem at all over the phone. We arrived to extremely rude staff whom I was told was one of the owners. She denied us our table in the dining room after the waitress was setting it for us because she said we had to many children in our party.... It was three couples each with their children. We travelled 40 minutes to dine here and was completely appalled at how we were treated by the owner. Eventually we were able to take tables in the front of the restaurant by the "slice section" although we were ordering pies and dinner off the menu. I have to say the food was fantastic but I wouldn't give them my money again due to the way the staff acted. The owner even came up to me later on and said I was lying about calling the restaurant earlier in the day until I showed her my call list and proved to her I had done so. read more

Food is really good at Villa Monte. The entrees comes with a complimentary garden salad with house dressing that is delicious and fresh!!! My penne with sausage and broccoli was good. I think the portion size is on the small side. My boyfriend was very happy with his chicken Parmesan. It was very tasty, the sauce is like homemade. The size was very generous. They have a pizzeria on the other side and they offer so many varieties of special pizza. I definitely want to come back and try them. Service was good and attentive. When my plate hit the table, my wife said, "wow, you think you can actually finish that?" I mean... I did (but had to pack the side pasta), but it was such a fantastic portion, it was close. My wife packed hers... and warned me NOT to eat her leftovers. Everything was so good that my daughter, who is frustratingly picky, asked for a second order of meatballs. Our server was so kind to my daughter (which plays well with me), and remembered things that many servers forget. I really need to go there more often. We've ordered a few times but we need to make this a regular occurrence. read more

This is the best pizza place in the world. I say this because of the great lengths they've gone to, to take care of my family. This is more than just a pizza place. It's like a second home to their customers. Ok, the pizza review: Their specialty slices are incredible. They have such a diverse selection. If you can, try out their old fashioned vodka. It may be my all time favorite slice. read more

Best red sauce there is. Best selections of slices possible. Amazing food on top of that.

I started with a house salad and added olives and instead of dressing just had anchovies on top of it ....delicious....added an order of mussels (Cozza Marinara they call it ) ....again excellent! Then my chicken parmigiana and angel hair pasta showed up ! Yikes I'm enjoying my dinner ...o did I mention the bread....only disappointment I had all meal! I loved the bread but I'm too full lol ....thank you Jackie. Service was excellent and thank you to whomever is making in the kitchen and cooked . It was all good. Best selection of fresh pizza you could ever wish for. They have more speciality pizza's to choose from then most local pizza places in your zip code combined. Each one is amazing. My go-to pizza spot for a specialty slice when I'm on the island. This pizzeria has almost any kind of pie you desire. They range from salad on whole wheat dough to chicken a la vodka. There is also everything in-between. Prices are reasonable considering how large the slices are. There is also another side strictly devoted to Italian food, but I have yet to try that. read more

Took my order over the phone...read it back correctly. Left food off then charged me for two lousy slices after everyone else ate and the slices came twenty minutes later. Received a 100 gift card in December. Used it once, for $29. 2 times in the past month I went in for lunch and tried to use the gift card (after confirming the balance of $71) and was rudely told the first time that they're too busy to use the Monte's gift card. The second time they told me they had changed the system and couldn't process the gift card that day. Now, two weeks after that second visit, I tried to check the balance of the card online and it will no longer read the card. Sounds like quite a scam. Sell gift cards, refuse to honor them, then mysteriously make the card void. read more

Villa Monte is a town favorite. When walking in you are smacked in the face with freshness and love. This pizzeria is in the top echelon. The first is the pizza selection, when they say they have a lot, they mean a lot! If there is a pizza you can think of they have it! From Mac & cheese slices to salad slices you can walk into this restaurant for 3 months and get something new every single time. Personally I love their Mac & cheese slice but I am also a huge fan of their chicken rolls. They are all fresh and taste even better! The workers of this pizzeria are nothing less of friendly and the prices are extremely fair, you won't be walking out disappointed. The sit down restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner and with an entire different menu of Italian dishes this place covers everything!! Overall, would return every week and is the go to pizza spot in the area. read more

What a disaster on a busy Saturday night. Clearly Villa Monte is struggling like many restaurants having enough staff - but the staff that was there (including owner) was rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful. Never saw the waitress again after she took our order. We were a fairly large party and meals came out haphazard, one at a time (from cooks in kitchen) over the course of 30 minutes. Kitchen staff trying to help brought wrong meals to wrong tables consistently across the dining room. So many tables complaining. No one came to check on anything, including drinks. We had to get up and ask for help 5x before we got any attention - from a very kind busboy and hostess. Regular pie was awful. A big wet sloppy mess that slid off crust and got cold immediately from blowing air conditioners over table. Dishes were ok - but skimpy for the price. We won't go back for pizza or dinner - specialty slices to go maybe. We were trying to be patient but really disappointed that staff wasn't trying to communicate or ensure we had at least a decent experience. read more

This has to be one of my favorite places to go have lunch. The location is ideal for me, every time I visit, is a little bit like the first time. In a good way, it's an overwhelming experience- I wouldn't change it. The staff is so kind and always helpful, I don't I've ever had an issue or the wrong order. There are so many choices you must go and see for yourself. You have the option of sitting down to enjoy your food in the dinning area, or just grab a slice or pie to go, both are good ideas!
