I ordered my dress online for my son's upcoming wedding and needed it to be altered. Keeow did an amazing job. She had it done in two weeks, and it wasn't an easy job as the dress had a lot of fabric. The dress had to be taken in on the shoulders and hemmed as it was very long. WONDERFUL SHOP! Vila Dry Cleaners and Alterations is a high-quality business in Smyrna across from Springhouse theater in the strip mall off Rocky Fork and ONHwy. The shop is nicely appointed and, very clean. They are kind and professional as well and take pride in their work! It's nice to see, we just throw so much away, why not just spruce things up? They do dry cleaning and alterations, formal dresses alterations, cleaning of comforters as well as general clothing repairs. They are open from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9 to 5. Mrs Keeow is a genuine artisan at her craft. I had to have a jacket let out of the sleeves and it looks awesome! She deconstructed and reconstructed it and it looks better than how it was originally made. I really appreciate someone that takes pride in their work and does what they say that they will do you in a timely manner and I know she worked really hard on this so, thank you so much! read more

This is not the same cleaners as before. This is under new Management Finally. Dry Cleaning is priced very reasonable. What excels at this cleaners is the alteration portion. Keeow is old school. She is very talented and her service is second to none. I been around awhile, I can recognize a professional. She is a professional and her work proves it every time. Her prices are very reasonable for what she does. She will always be my first stop if I need anything Cleaned or Altered. I would never hesitate to recommend her Cleaning or Alteration services. This place is awful. I gave them two comforters and two jackets.. she charged me the same price for a heated king blanket and she charged me for a duvet which was $75 very expensive. Also they said they would call me when everything was ready, I called today and everything was ready except for one of my jackets because it had leather on it it had a certain type of cleaning and she had to send it away for three weeks!! She sent it away without telling me or asking me if that timeframe would be OK, they don't understand English and are very hard to talk to. I am very upset and hopefully plan to get my money back ASAP. read more

Ruined one of my dress shirts. The very first time I went there, I took in 5 dress shirts. Three of the five came back with stains that weren't originally there. The owner apologized and said they had been having problems with the place they send clothes off to. Left them again and the next day, nothing was fixed. This went on for over a month and 2 of those 3 shirts came clean. One of my shirts is still ruined and when I asked him to pay for it, he threatened to fight me and told me never to come back to his store. Horrible customer service. Use Smyrna Cleaners on Lowry street. Much better service and they clean and press in house! read more

I brought in a bridesmaid dress on a rush request for alterations that I needed in about 2 weeks. I was expecting to be charged a late fee considering most other alteration places charged a fee for under 2wks, but she did not charge one and said it would be no problem. The dress was ready on time and fit me perfectly. She is such a nice lady and I really felt at ease there vs being rushed in and out without a personal touch. I took my blue jeans to someone I thought knew how to alter them. She didn't and totally messed up my jeans to where I thought I would have to throw them away. I took them here, with tears in my eyes asking if there was anyway for her to fix them. She said she could, no problem. I was worried because they looked like they couldn't be repaired. When I went to pick them up, I was in complete shock as how great they looked. She did a fantastic job and I will not go anywhere else. They have my business and they should have yours. This business is under new ownership, so disregard the older reviews! Keeow is the best! She altered my wedding dress and my fiance's wedding suit, and she did an excellent job with both. She is extremely attentive to detail, noticing minor issues with our clothes that we had missed. She listened to what I wanted to change about my wedding dress and came up with creative and effective ways to make it work. She never pressured me or told me that she couldn't do what I wanted. She happily made additional changes after the second fitting and did not charge me more for it. The prices are extremely affordable. Best of all, Keeow is a very nice person. Her prices and service are so good that it is worth making the drive from Nashville to see her--highly recommended! read more

I have worked with Keeow on altering several garments - including the suit I will be wearing for my wedding. She has an eye for making sure that everything fits well. My suit pants fit pretty well, I thought, and she suggested doing a couple small alterations. This made a huge difference in how well they fit and look. She has also altered my golf pants, casual shirts, and a dress shirt of mine.
