My adult daughter and I came to Clothesline in Smyrna 7/21/24 because our dryer died. All of the "attendants" were sitting at the square table in the front. Another customer rushed to open the door for everyone coming in. We loaded our clothes and sat at the round table at the front. We went to check on our clothes, when we returned there was a young child at the table. We asked if we could sit with them, they said yes. After a few minutes the "attendants" and their friends decided they wanted both tables. One would stand behind me and lightly bump into me repeatedly. Another would constantly poke/tap the back of my daughter's arm. The place and the machines were filthy. read more

*There is a laundromat down the street near WalMart now if you need to use washers and dryers! It isn't on any of my maps. This used to be the only place I chose to do laundry in Smyrna! But over the last 3 or so years in keeps going downhill FAST. I come here when my washer is out or to wash larger items. The large washers are always full of the "attendant's" items. This was the last time I will go to this establishment. I'm not calling it a laundromat because it is very obviously a commercial laundry business rather than a place for others to come in and do their wash for themselves. Today's issue: I came in with 10 days of wash for 7 people. I brought in my clothes and the person working ran and got some clothes and put them on the floor in front of the two available large washers. I managed to start loading the extra large one before she could get to it. (There were 5 washers that were not "out of order")I stood in front of the two with the least time and waited with my clothes. The washers were finished and it took her 8 minutes to come empty them. Person rude said we couldn't wash when it was 9pm and they close at 10pm. Shouldn't take us but 40 mins at most to wash one load of clothes. Maybe racist people. NOT a kid friendly place. I'm not going to leave my child in a hot vehicle while I'm doing laundry and the worker in there apparently does not understand single parenting. she yelled at me and my child because my ONE year old is doing kid things like running to washers and dryers. I'm watching my child not doing any harm while trying to fold clothes. it's impossible for a Single Parent to try to Wash/Fold clothes (Have to use both hands) and having to watch child. my child was fine and she didn't allow my child to run towards washer and dryer doing little one year old things that WAS NOT harming anyone. she did not have to yell at us NOR call the police on us. read more

Clean. Well lit. Stand alone building. Hours are 7 am - 9 pm. They have strong WiFi. Wash and fold lady said they are in the middle of management change. They have 4-50 lb washer machines; 3- 40 lb washers and 6-35 lb washers in addition to 6 standard front loafers and at least a dozen top loaders. A whole back wall of dryers. I only saw 2 machines out of order. Impressive for so many machines. I would recommend this place for your weekly needs or when you need the large washers for those blankets and bedspreads. They have a change dispenser. All machines take quarters. Oh and the machines don't need much soap to clean well. So you save there. read more

I usually come here when I need to dry my clothes because my dryer is out and it's usually a good place to do washing and drying. Tonight I came here to dry my clothes and they were out of quarters and the change machines were out of order. Can someone please tell me how does a laundromat not have quarters? I had to go to two different places to get quarters. Just an inconvenience. read more

It doesn't even deserve a one star but it doesn't let me post my comment, this laundry is mostly use for business the lady there in charge is always using all machines to do laundry I think they do the hospital laundry and some hotels because they sure have a lot of white sheets and white towels to wash, the lady doesn't let others use the machines because she is doing laundry the ones that are available are the broken ones. I think they should close this place and they should keep doing what they're doing, I'm never going back. Period read more

Had a bad experience with another company. Called and they had someone here immediately. They were on time to pick up and drop off. My clothes and belongings were organized and so nicely folded. I was super impressed with the service. Very affordable and well worth it. It really gave me back some time in my day and I couldn't have been more impressed with how it turned out. This place WAS my number 1 place to go bc i live near by BUT until these idiots ALLOW a stranger to touch my clothes not once or twice but a total of three times. Things got UGLY at this location once I notice a stranger had took my clothes out of the dryer so they could use my time. This company did not give two shits and actually seen the individual take my belongings out the dryer. Do not go here unless you would like your clothes missing or some one touching your items. They did not reimburse me my money or apologize. They did not give a fuck so going to new location.. Before I forget the old lazy lady who works behind the counter NEVER ever clean the washing machines so I would always have to clean the washing machines I use before inserting my clothes!!!! read more

Manager was extremely rude and the way she interacts with customers is uncalled for. After causing a scene with me for no reason she proceeded to follow me out to my car and act all high and mighty. Im sorry your career is a laundry mat but learn how to talk with people step down from your minimum wage throne sweetheart. I usually never have a problem at this place. I come when I have comforters and large loads that I don't want to complete at home. With 5 boys and two jobs laundry can pile up quick. This day I used 1 50 pound washer @ $6.00 5 commercial size washers @ $4.75 each. And two regular washers @ $2.50 each. The larger washers finished just fine. My two smaller loads looked as if they didn't even wash. The laundry pod didn't even dissolve. When I brought it to the attention of the blonde laundry attendant ~ her words exactly where " we'll the water level in these really isn't that high so ???? @When I checked the other the clothes where dry and still dirty. Mind you I was only washing white clothes and light socks. She then says "we'll are washer cycled through so I do t know what you want me to tell you". How bout ma'am I apologize and here's your 5 dollars back ~ or at least a rewash. So needless to say I will take my dirty clothes back home to rewash. And Because of this unprofessional, rude, disrespectful women's attitude I will never be back. Poor service ~ the entire place smells like a dirty ashtray because the staff spends more time out side smoking. I feel really sorry for The owner Dale ~ he is being poorly represented by this women at his business ~ it's a shame. To start, some of my clothes smelled like fish after drying. Manager was so negative, comes at you with the biggest attitude speaking loudly embarrassing you in front of everyone. Not going back. Uncleanly and disgusting service. Not to mentioned manager followed me and friend outside after kicking us out for wanting to take Pinterest type laundromat pictures. read more

Good machines and friendly attendants. The place is newer and well lit. There isn't any wifi, but if you're in Smyrna they're the best you can do. read more

Do NOT use this place for the wash and fold service. I am missing 6 bras!! I have used them over the years and every now and then I would get home and find something missing, but I would call back and they would say they forgot to give the second bag, etc. The manager, Tina is sooooo rude. She would not let me talk to the owner. She said that is my responsibility to keep up with the clothes I give them to wash. It is their responsibility to not lose my clothes. I just found out today that they wash the clothes you give them in the general area, so anyone could have taken them. There was no sorry, apology, etc. They blamed me for their poor service. My bras were Victoria Secret and cost $50 a pop. I will tell everyone I know not to use them. read more

The dryer burnt my white comforter. The smart alec attendant walked over and said "ya you burnt it". I paid $7.50 to come home with a ruined $200 comforter. There should be signs posted saying that putting the dryer on high heat will burn anything you put in. There was also mold where you put the detergent in the washers. Definitely disappointed. read more

The drier burned our three 100% cotton comforters despite of the low heat setting we used. And when my husband and I complained about it, they just said that it was our fault because we didn't set it up according to the manufacturer's instruction. read more

Clean and well maintained. The attendant is very friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable. They have high capacity washers for bulky items such as comforters. They also have fluff and fold service if you need laundry service as well and the prices for that are decent also. I will go to them again to wash my comforters and bulky items that are better suited for a high capacity washer. read more
