Very profesional questions and a fair quote that took a couple of minutes. He kept me informed and gave me a text when he was 20 minutes away and when I asked to text when he arrives because my dogs go crazy with doorbell it was no problem. We first used Vikin Garage Doors years ago to replace the motor in our garage and we don't use anyone else now. One of the springs on the door broke on a Saturday morning and they were there for the repair in less than an hour. They were done in less than 1/2 hour and we were good to go! My garage door was in need of some repair. Normal wear and tear over the years but it was progressively getting worse the last week. The tear had allowed it to "bow" while it was pulled up. After searching Yelp and asking a friend, both highly recommend Vigo at Viking Garage Doors. Over the phone, he knew exactly what the problem was and quoted me what I would be paying for a repair and what I would be paying for a new door. After consulting with my wife, we decided just the fix was necessary. Called back Vigo and he had his super awesome garage tech Jared on it! Jared showed up right at noon. Jared was friendly and professional and trustworthy. He knew exactly what was wrong and began working immediately. After installing the new spring and struts, he adjust my garage door push power which I had no idea you could do. Then he went through what I would call a "all points check list" and told me what was good and what needed to be improved, then he improved it for me and gave me hints on how to make it last longer. Vigo is knowledgeable, professional, and takes your ideas and budget into account when recommending doors for your home. The new doors arrived in a timely manner, and Vigo promptly set up an appointment for installation. Day of installation he was on time as he has always been and installed our garage doors. At the end, there was a strip of edging that was cut a little short. Vigo came out the next day with a new strip and finished the installation. We used Viking Garage in the past to have our garage door replaced and they did such a good job so when we started having issues with our sensors who knew exactly who to call. Vigo came out on time and immediately started to diagnose the issue. He gave us 2 options but since out motor was about 28 years old, we decided to replace it altogether. Jared came out later that afternoon, was very friendly and got right to work replacing the motor, sensors, wall button and ran all new wiring. He even regreased all the rollers and walked my wife and I through using the phone app. All work was completed in about 2 hours and we couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! Yesterday while pulling my husband's truck (yikes) into our garage the door suddenly broke and landed onto the bed of the truck.
