DoorPosh was one of the few companies who communicated that they could provide installation only service for a garage door opener which is exactly what I needed as I wanted the most basic opener unit. The technician came and installed the basic 1/2 HP Chamberlain unit I purchased from Home Depot. When I talked to them over the phone it sounded like they don't recommend Genie. Everything went smoothly and would use them again. I read through the other reviews and it seems like the negative ones involved a home warranty, so just something to be aware of. Thanks for making it a seamless and hassle free process. read more

Robert and Mo were both awesome. Called in a warranty claim on an existing door from a home purchase suddenly stopped working. Robert and Mo took their time to explain what they did to resolve the problem and answered all of my questions. They were both very professional, yet easy going and were easy to work with. I will be using DoorPosh when it's time to upgrade our garage door to a newer design. Highly recommend! read more

On Thursday late at night, after I closed the garage, one side of the spring broke. As working parents, we needed a quick solution since we had work and school drop-offs the next morning. I immediately searched on Yelp, and this company stood out. To my surprise, they texted and called me around 11 PM--such an impressive and prompt response! The price they quoted was very competitive. The following morning, they arrived earlier than scheduled. The service advisor, Mark, was thorough, detail-oriented, and took the time to point out other areas that needed attention. He was also very easy to work and communicate with. Overall, I am extremely impressed and highly recommend this company! read more

I had a great experience with the DoorPosh team. From the morning I called to the completion of work. Special shout out to Moe who took his time to explain our garage issue. He took his time and listened to my questions and concerns. Provided great feedback and was not one to sell. Moe did a great job! He made sure to perform the complete service even after fixing our garage door. And even after competing the work, Moe did not just leave after payment, he made sure that everything was good including closing our door and checking on gate where he entered from. I really appreciate that. I'll sure to ask for Moe again in future requests. Thank you! read more

Had a great experience with Moe from Door Posh. He communicated well by calling before arrival. He was friendly, open to questions and respectful of my property. He was knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the issue and go over the details of the repair. He assured me that his sizing was correct and that his testing after completion would ensure a solid repair that would be safe and most importantly would last. Garage doors are not only necessary for access, but they need to be fixed correctly for safety reasons. This is not a job where I would choose someone who rushes through the repair or doesn't pay attention to details. Definitely recommend Door Posh and will have them take care of any garage repair or installs in the future. read more

We were set up with DoorPosh due to a home warranty insurance situation. 1of our springs broke and of course the insurance would only replace the broken one. After some discussion with Moe, the technician we ended having both springs done, new rollers added, a bar for the springs and some other stuff that needed fixing. Moe is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He had us back up and running in no time. The company was very helpful with our situation as well. I would highly recommend DoorPosh for any garage door issues. They are also affordable. Thanks Moe and DoorPosh! read more

Moe had been to my home once before to repair my garage door opener and I was impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. When I got a new opener I knew who to call. He had been on vacation and actually came on his day off. He told me I had waited long enough for the installation. Who does that? He replaced the door and made suggestions that should be done. He said I could wait and call when I wanted the work done. I decided to have him do the work since he was already there. I totally trust Moe and will not hesitate to call him when I need help with any garage door issues. Door Posh, Moe is a definite asset to your company. read more

My garage door opener suddenly went out after I tripped my circuit breaker. I called my home warranty company and they set me up with Doorposh. They were able to come out the next day. My technician was Sam. Unfortunately the home warranty would not cover the claim due to it being a power issue caused by myself. Sam gave me options for replacement. I decided to go with the lift master for the lifetime warranty. Sam did a great job with the installation, he took his time and made sure all the wiring was neat and clean. He did the work in a timely manner. Overall great experience with Doorposh and would recommend this company read more

Excellent experience with the services provided. My garage door randomly stopped opening and I needed it to be resolved quickly. Mo our service technician showed up on time, and was very personable and transparent when reviewing our problem. Mo was great, provided a clear diagnostic of what the issue might be and the estimated costs. Once the problem was discovered he gave us a great explanation and price. In addition to just the service, Mo also provided us with some tuning up and cleaning. He also gave us maintenance tips and potential areas that might need future work. The service I requested from Door Posh was excellent. The tech Sam came out and replaced the whole lift system. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and handled our job with speed and ease. He left the job site clean. The price was fair and competitive. I would recommend Door Posh to anyone that needs garage door service. Sam is willing to perform his job later into the evening. I was actually kind of shocked that he was willing to work so late. Most companies hit the clock out button at 5 or 6 p.m. If you were to have an emergency with your door I'm sure Sam would take care of it for you. Sincerely, Barb B. read more

We contacted DOOR POSH through Yelp To have our broken garage door TORSION SPRINGS replaced. Many companies replied, but we are so happy that we used DOOR POSH. The person on the phone helping was wonderful efficient and a great price quote. Within hours, Moe came to our home and replaced the springs. He was VERY prompt, efficient and customer service galore!! I would highly recommend this company, more importantly Moe! Need I say more "Moe" read more

Our garage door was stuck partially open but mostly closed with 2 cars stuck inside. The torsion spring has broken and there was no way to move the door manually. Moe from DoorPosh came out first thing the next morning and was able to quickly assess the situation and get the door freed so that we could get cars out. He diligently checked the entire door, spring, cables, rollers and tranks. He showede that, in addition to the torsion spring, the hinges were starting to crack and the rollers were worn out. We agreed to replace all the failing parts. After installing the new spring and adjusting the door movement, he realized that something wasn't right and that he needed a slightly smaller spring than what we had previously to make the door operate more smoothly. He went all the way back to get an alternative spring that would be better for our door and reinstalled it instead. It's been about a week and our garage door is operating so smoothly now. The door opens and closes so much more quietly than it did before. Moe really knows his stuff. So glad that he came out and worked on our door! read more

If you need any garage, work to be done, Doorposh is the place to go. Moe was wonderful. He was honest and very informative in explaining the problem and gave me options to fix. Sam was very professional, polite and honest, fair quotes were offered after reviewing some quotes online. Sam was also proficient with his work and time ,knowledgeable. So unprofessional and rude after I told them I wouldn't be getting my garage door replaced by their company. Originally had scheduled an appt through my home warranty to have them inspect my broken garage door motor/system. The garage is detached and only point of entry is the door itself. Since the door collapsed they weren't able to see the unit and gave me a ridiculous quote for the garage door. Their attitude changed when I told them I'd be getting quotes from other garage door repair companies. DoorPosh tried to charge me almost double that of other companies quotes. The technician that called me to schedule a follow up appt to service my device, lacked customer service and was abrasive in his tone. I cancelled the service all together and reported them to my home warranty company for their lack of customer service. Do not recommend DoorPosh at all. read more

Our garage door was purchased and installed less than a year and a half ago and we are having all kinds of problems. Door Posh has come out twice now (with us paying a $75 deductible to our home warranty company each time) and both times they have left after telling us that there's nothing they can do and giving us tips on how to Jerry rig the door to make it work. Avoid this company at all costs. Extremely convenient that the warranty expired right before it started acting up and being non-functional. read more

So far my experiences with this company have been very poor. They originally fixed my garage door, but charged me more than other vendors were quoting. I was in a rush so I didn't have a choice. The technician that arrived was very rude and talked to me as if I were dumb. They added more charges on for extra work that they said was needed which I really didn't have much of a choice but to accept to get my garage working. Overall I paid well more than I expected, but hoped that the job would be done properly and I wouldn't have to have an issue for many years to come. Four to Five months after the install there was an issue where a bracket fell off... I called them and told them that their installation failed and I needed a warranty fix . the person on the phone told me that was fine and they'll take care of it for free. She was nice enough. However the same rude technician came back to fix the problem then proceeded to ask me for $75 to fix it saying that it was my fault because I opened snd closed the garage too much. (Isn't that what a garage is for???). I told him that the office told me it was going to be covered under warranty for a job they just did just four months ago that I paid a lot of money for. I expected it to be good for years to come. He threatened to undo the fixes that he did and leave my garage broken. It was very confrontational and unpleasant. Eventually, he left and now one month later the bracket broke again on the other side. I called the company and for some reason they said they can't come because they're too busy without giving me a future date or a call back. Until they are able to properly warranty their job I will leave this review as is as it is an accurate assessment of their work and customer service but so far I've been very disappointed and frustrated with this entire experience with door posh. I recommend going with another provider that is honest and backs up their work. If they somehow respond and fix the work I'll gladly update this review. This review could have easily been a glowing review about how they are a little more expensive but customer service warranty make up for it but instead it's bad review about being overpriced, rude and do not back up their work. It is what it is unfortunately. read more

My garage spring broke at around 10a. Submitted a claim with my HOW Choice. By 11a I received a response with a service time window 12-4 same day! Mark was assigned to my repair. He was timely, courteous and professional. Mark inspected my door parts and it was determined that after almost twenty plus years use, many should be replaced. All parts were on the truck. All repairs were done within two hours and I was up and running with a silent perfect running garage door. I received a follow up call from John the owner to confirm a couple of things. It was easy to see why Mark was so professional......clearly John sets the right example to excellent customer service. Anyone needing garage door repair service should contact DoorPosh! read more

I was very happy with the service and pricing I received with Sam. He called when he was on his way over and he was on time. He identified the issue quickly--I should replace it. My garage is going to be renovated this year so it would have been a waste. Instead, he came up with a solution and installed it right away. The next day it seemed to not be working (nothing was wrong, I wasn't holding the button down long enough) but he came out right away. Great service. I needed my garage door to close a tad lower to keep out the rain. It was handled that day. Mark came out with a BIG smile and a warm handshake. The work was done exactly as promised for the quoted (reasonable) price. I got an explanation of what might be needed if the adjustment didn't work out for me. That's fine, because I've had too many repair hand out that I needed to spend the big bucks without trying the simple / easy / cheap fix. As it turns out, Mark did the install a FEW years ago working for another company. Nothing wrong with that outfit, but the guy doing the work is who to stay with and this is HIS company. That works out for him and the consumer! read more

DoorPosh was recommended by Choice Warranty as called in broken garage door. I was contacted by DoorPosh and they scheduled a time that was convenient for me even though they were booked. Sam, who is very friendly and instantly put us at ease inspected our door. He was very honest, let us know the door could be repaired but with its age was really on its last leg. He gave us couple of options of repairing or maybe thinking of replacing. No hard sell from him just straight facts which we appreciated. We decided replacing was best option. Since ordering custom doors will take time to install, we were worried about the broken door in the meantime. He said DoorPosh would never leave us vulnerable and repaired it for us at a very low cost. Also what we paid would go towards new doors once order is placed. Definitely top notch service and if you get Sam even more of a bonus! read more

Highly recommend these guys. About a month after moving into our new home, our garage door suddenly stopped working and we were assigned to DoorPosh by our home warranty company. Sam came initially and was a pleasure to work with. He was very nice and explained the problem, which turned out to be more complicated than just a simple solution. Mark also came by and was very knowledgeable about the problem. They both went out of the way to reach out to the garage door manufacturer (which turned out to be quite a headache and challenge) to obtain the specifications they needed to fix the problem. They stand by their high quality work and the customer service is excellent. read more

My garage door wasn't closing correctly and it eventually got stuck for 3 days. I messaged DoorPosh for a garage repair because they had excellent reviews and I'm glad I went with them. They were super quick to respond and got me an appointment the same day. Their technician, Sam, arrived to our house a few hours later. Sam was a super professional: very nice, explained the issue, repaired the garage within a few minutes, and gave us a reasonable charge the repair. Apparently, our garage door rollers were out of place and getting to the point of beyond disrepair. Sam gave us a temporary repair and told us to call him again if it got stuck. He also gave us an estimate for a new garage because our garage is in bad shape. Not only were the rollers old, but the metal beams? were dislocated and bent, and the panels were dented and misplaced (from the previous owner). He advised that it would be more worth our time and money if we installed a new garage door instead of constantly repairing a broken garage, which definitely does add up. He gave me a quote the same day so I could consult with my husband. I appreciate his excellent work, professional advice, and exceptional customer service and will definitely follow through with the new garage door after we set out a budget for it. Thank you so much, DoorPosh! read more
