Our garage door was stuck partially open but mostly closed with 2 cars stuck inside. The torsion spring has broken and there was no way to move the door manually. Moe from DoorPosh came out first thing the next morning and was able to quickly assess the situation and get the door freed so that we could get cars out. He diligently checked the entire door, spring, cables, rollers and tranks. He showede that, in addition to the torsion spring, the hinges were starting to crack and the rollers were worn out. We agreed to replace all the failing parts. After installing the new spring and adjusting the door movement, he realized that something wasn't right and that he needed a slightly smaller spring than what we had previously to make the door operate more smoothly. He went all the way back to get an alternative spring that would be better for our door and reinstalled it instead. It's been about a week and our garage door is operating so smoothly now. So unprofessional and rude after I told them I wouldn't be getting my garage door replaced by their company. Originally had scheduled an appt through my home warranty to have them inspect my broken garage door motor/system. The garage is detached and only point of entry is the door itself. Since the door collapsed they weren't able to see the unit and gave me a ridiculous quote for the garage door. Their attitude changed when I told them I'd be getting quotes from other garage door repair companies. DoorPosh tried to charge me almost double that of other companies quotes. The technician that called me to schedule a follow up appt to service my device, lacked customer service and was abrasive in his tone. So far my experiences with this company have been very poor. They originally fixed my garage door, but charged me more than other vendors were quoting. I was in a rush so I didn't have a choice. The technician that arrived was very rude and talked to me as if I were dumb. They added more charges on for extra work that they said was needed which I really didn't have much of a choice but to accept to get my garage working. Overall I paid well more than I expected, but hoped that the job would be done properly and I wouldn't have to have an issue for many years to come. Four to Five months after the install there was an issue where a bracket fell off... I called them and told them that their installation failed and I needed a warranty fix . the person on the phone told me that was fine and they'll take care of it for free. She was nice enough. However the same rude technician came back to fix the problem then proceeded to ask me for $75 to fix it saying that it was my fault because I opened snd closed the garage too much. (Isn't that what a garage is for???). I told him that the office told me it was going to be covered under warranty for a job they just did just four months ago that I paid a lot of money for. I expected it to be good for years to come. He threatened to undo the fixes that he did and leave my garage broken. It was very confrontational and unpleasant. Eventually, he left and now one month later the bracket broke again on the other side. I called the company and for some reason they said they can't come because they're too busy without giving me a future date or a call back. Until they are able to properly warranty their job I will leave this review as is as it is an accurate assessment of their work and customer service but so far I've been very disappointed and frustrated with this entire experience with door posh. I recommend going with another provider that is honest and backs up their work. If they somehow respond and fix the work I'll gladly update this review. This review could have easily been a glowing review about how they are a little more expensive but customer service warranty make up for it but instead it's bad review about being overpriced, rude and do not back up their work. Let me start off by first saying what a dishonest and shady business this company runs. I would avoid them at all costs and if you Home Warranty company wants to dispatch them, ask for a different vendor! I promise you, I will save you the biggest headache of your life!! Long story short this company came out to do a repair on my fathers garage in December 2022. It was just a simple trolly belt replacement. It was then that my father was told that the technician had to modify the belt due to its size in which he used the parts from the prior belt. Well he cut the belt too short and just 4 shorts months later it fell apart. The bad news is our home warranty only covers recalls up to 30 days from the repair. Ok fine, we worked out a solution with them and were able to open a new claim. Moe or Mohammad had made promises to me that he would replace the entire trolly assembly and throw in a free tune up free of charge. Nice, I figured this would make up for our poor experience with them. Well I didn't realize they were going to screw the home warranty over and submit the inspection falsely saying we needed to replace parts they said they would throw in complimentary due to issues we had with the last install. That back fired and our Home Warranty company no longer will cover our garage door opener. I attempted to work with Moe following this, in which he as fed me nothing but lies. The home warranty company has told us they are able to resolve it and honor the repair. But Moe on the other hand claims that he can't even come to our house unless the Home Warranty sends them out. It also turns out that Moe is the license holder and DBA holder of the company. He acted as if he had to report to his "supervisor" many times, when in reality he is likely the owner. Moe, people are a lot smarter than you think. It was very cringy to hear you lie multiple times to me, I hope you learn a lesson from the is costly mistake of yours... Well Door Posh, I want to thank you for your dishonesty, shadiness and lack of integrity. You have screwed us over with our Home Warranty and left us with a broken garage door.
