We had such a great experience with Yafa Garage Door Company! The owner was absolutely wonderful--professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire service. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on with our garage door, what was contributing to the current issue, and what could potentially become a problem down the road. I really appreciated that he also made proactive recommendations to help extend the life of our garage door and provided pricing upfront, so we could plan ahead rather than having to deal with another unexpected repair later. It's rare to find a company that is this honest, thorough, and genuinely focused on helping their customers. By far the best garage door repair service we've used in the area! I highly recommend Yafa Garage Door Company. They're the best! read more

I've been struggling with my garage door opener for quite some time. The sensors would act up and I would have to move the devices and hold down the switch just to force the door to close. After shopping around and talking to several companies, I found out my system is really old. It's original to my house, which I've lived in for 15 years. I went from being really frustrated to really appreciative that my garage doors hang on for that long. It did its service, but now it's time for new ones. I have a tandem garage with two doors and two openers, which unfortunately for me and my husband, means two times the cost. Yafa Garage Door not only offered the best price, but was also responsive. Each time I messaged them, they responded within half an hour. Salem was flexible with our busy schedule and was able to install our new openers in less time than we thought. He showed us what other parts are major concerns, including the wheels and the spring. He didn't push us to get them replaced so I can tell he wasn't trying to upsell. After some time to think, we ultimately decided to get the wheels replaced a week later. Salem was quick to respond with this too. In fact, he got them replaced the same day. After he was done, he showed me how to degrease parts of my door to keep it well maintained. We feel more at ease now that we've got new openers and wheels. read more

I had a great experience with Yafa Garage Door. They responded quickly to my request and were easy to communicate with from the start. After inspecting my garage door, they quickly identified that the issue was my TorqueMaster system and explained why both cables had gone loose. Instead of just repairing the old system, they recommended converting it to a standard torsion spring setup and clearly explained the benefits without any pressure. What impressed me most was that they came fully prepared with all the parts needed for the conversion. They completed everything the same day, including installing new nylon rollers, and had my garage door working smoothly again before they left. Professional, personable, and took the time to answer my questions. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend Yafa Garage Door to anyone needing garage door repair or replacement. read more

I honestly couldn't be happier with the service I received today! Our garage wouldn't open and Sam came out to our house and had it fixed in about 20 minutes! He also arrived within an hour of me calling him about the issue! I was so impressed with how quickly he was able to figure out what was going on and get everything working again. Sam was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to actually explain the problem to me and, more importantly, get to the root cause instead of just putting a temporary fix on it. I really appreciated that because I wanted to understand what was happening and make sure the problem was truly resolved. It's not often that you find a company that is this responsive, honest, and genuinely cares about doing a good job. It's also great to support a local small business! I highly recommend Sam to anyone who needs garage repair! I will absolutely be calling them again if we ever have another issue. Thank you so much for the great service! read more

Excellent service from start to finish! The spring on my garage door snapped, and Sam was able to diagnose the problem immediately and get everything working better than it ever has before! Also, the price was very fair, especially for this level of service and expertise. Sam was professional, friendly, punctual, and is truly skilled at his trade. I also really appreciate that he took the time to explain the issues and walk me through how the garage door works and the steps for proper upkeep. I heard a loud crashing noise right after closing my garage door and went back out to check. The door would start to open but wouldn't go all the way up. I quickly searched Yelp for a garage door repair service and received responses from several companies. Since I didn't know the typical price range, it was confusing because the quotes varied widely. Among them, Salem from Yafa was the only one who clearly explained what needed to be fixed and gave me a reasonable estimate. Salem arrived exactly at the scheduled time and took the time to explain everything in a very clear and friendly way, especially since we didn't know much about garage door repairs. While he was working, I even found out that both our next-door neighbors had also had their garage doors fixed by Salem. Even though it was late in the evening, he came quickly, fixed the problem fast, and the final price matched the quote exactly. The repair was done neatly and efficiently. Highly recommend! read more

My technician was Salem and he had me taken care of within 3hrs of first contact. He actually had the springs needed for my insulated double garage door on his truck. He knocked out the job in less than an hour and made some minor adjustments and set my sensors to a more appropriate height for the type of vehicles we have in the garage. Something I have never thought about, but made perfect sense. He also spent sometime and showed me a few tips and tricks. read more

Did a great job replacing the garage door springs. Was prompt and quick. He also told me that the springs the previous company installed were undersized for my garage door and recommended a thicker gauge wire springs which should last longer. Appreciated that advice. read more

Really happy with Salem and his service. I already had a pretty good idea that the belt was the main issue, and he quickly gave me a reasonable price for parts and labor. When he came out, he checked everything and explained how some of the previous DIY work may have contributed to the wear. He also pointed out a few related issues and gave me his recommendations without trying to upsell me on things I didn't need. From our first communication to everything being completed was less than 3 hours. It wasn't an emergency, but he was able to come out very quickly and get everything taken care of. Absolutely amazing service, Salem was a lifesaver! He arrived quickly, diagnosed the issue right away, and clearly explained what was going on with my garage door. He identified a broken belt and an out-of-balance door that needed a spring adjustment, and made sure I understood why both repairs were necessary. What really stood out was his honesty and professionalism. Salem explained that if the spring wasn't properly adjusted, it could damage the new belt again, something I wouldn't have known otherwise. He completed the repair on the spot, and everything is working perfectly now. On top of that, the new belt comes with a 5-year warranty, which gave me great peace of mind. Fair pricing, fast response, and high-quality work. Highly recommend Salem and the team for any garage door repairs! read more

My brand new garage door opener went out on a Saturday afternoon. Would not open or close and even the light wasn't working. I called around to try to find some assistance and Sam was on it right away. He showed up in 30 minutes and discovered an electrical issue along with multiple other potential problems with a garage door that was 20 years old. After educating me on what all he was looking at, he solved the issue and gave me an opportunity to tackle a few more small things that really needed to be done with an aging garage door. In under an hour he was in and out, even helping me out the garage back in order. Thank you for a great service and go getter attitude. Highly recommend! read more

Salem did a great job repairing my garage door. The spring of my garage door broke without any warning a couple of weeks ago. I received a few quotes from different garage repair shops and ultimately chose to work with Salem since his quote was fair and he had immediate availability. It's not easy to replace the spring because my car was stuck inside the garage, leaving very little space for him to work with. But he was able to maneuver the tight space and replaced the spring in a couple of hours. He also did tuning and maintenance of the garage door for free. read more

I'm a bit late leaving this review, but I couldn't let it go unsaid how good my experience was. On 12/4, Salem and his apprentice came out to replace a broken garage spring, and they were incredibly responsive--arriving within about 30 minutes of my call. They took the time to clearly explain the repair process and thoughtfully recommended a few additional replacements, like the rollers, with solid explanations as to why they were needed--never pushy, just honest and helpful. Their professionalism really stood out, even down to removing their shoes before entering my home without even asking. The work was completed quickly and efficiently in about 30 minutes. Super fast, friendly, respectful, and professional from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them without hesitation. read more

I highly recommend Yafa Garage Door! I was extremely happy with the service I received from them. About two months ago, Salem came to my house and replaced all four garage door springs. Last night, around 10 PM on a Saturday, my garage door opener suddenly started giving me a force/error warning again, and I needed to leave the house the next morning on Sunday. At the time, I was honestly pretty stressed about the situation. Even though it was very late, I decided to text Salem, and to my surprise, he called me back within about 3 minutes. He assured me he would come by at 8 AM the next morning to inspect everything. Sure enough, he arrived right on time Sunday morning and helped check the issue. I really appreciate Salem's willingness to help, his responsiveness, and his professionalism. It's rare to find someone who is this reliable and genuinely cares about his customers, especially outside normal business hours. Quick, honest, quality, and reasonable! Our garage door stopped working suddenly and after trying to fix it ourselves unsuccessfully, I put out a request for service. I got several responses and quotes back, but Yafa Garage Door's response stood out because they could get here super quick, were upfront about what they thought the issue could be, and reasonable with their estimate. The repair was done quickly and well. They fixed our springs and, after a full assessment and tune up, also suggested new wheels and a motor. They communicated each step clearly and there was no pressure. We appreciated their initiative to do a great job. Highly recommend! read more

Speed, knowledge, parts on hand, did a good job repairing. Responded right away and was courteous.

I would not trust hiring this company again. I had my garage door serviced by Yafa and within 2 weeks it stopped working properly. I had not used the garage door since his visit as I was away on vacation. I reached out to ask them to come and fix it so that it works properly. He claimed it wasn't a fault of his work and blamed it on a faulty sensor. I paid them nearly $1000 for a new set of springs, a new drive belt and new rollers. While he was there, I asked him to fix the garage door open/close tension and up/down position. He adjusted but I think that is where the problem is occuring now. He initially agreed to come by but then required me to pay $95 for a visit. For what I paid, and for the problem I described, I think a trip to fix would be a nice and fair gesture. Also, I looked up the street address posted on their website, and it appears to be fake as far as I can tell. The address they list is 2620 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92869 which is on Google Maps as a Target store. My guess is they don't have a physical site and that is why there is no way to find on google and give a review. Or are they somehow affiliated with Target? To also clarify, the presenting issue was that the door would close halfway and then stop and go back up. And that is still the issue that they didn't fix. I was charged $1000 and the problem remains. I already paid for them to diagnose the problem. It is not my fault that they misdiagnosed it. Also note that the owner didn't respond to the fake address. read more

Salem was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with my garage door repair. He arrived same day within 15 minutes of my call since it was urgent. Apparently the coil spring things that bear the load of the garage door were like 9 years old and broken so it was fixed with some really strong looking parts. It looked way more stable than the original ones I had on my garage. He also did a complimentary diagnostic on the full garage and found the wheels were completely worn down and posed a safety hazard. Made sense to replace them since it could cause the door to fall on someone walking under. The prices are very fair and reasonable and the replacement parts are top notch. Way better than whatever I had originally. I didn't know garage doors could be this smooth and silent until he hooked me up. Awesome job! read more

I talked to a handful of businesses and I am so grateful to have come across their business. They explained all my options, called to check the stock, and provided a quote right away. I never had to chase them down for an update. But what truly sets them apart is their honesty and friendliness. They didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary parts or repairs, they just provided me with my options for my current problem.
