Up front, they were all true and my repair was done the next day under 2 hours, all as expected with the professionalism, experience, promptness, and value from them as testified! To expound, Yuval texted me a quote to replace both springs and cables after I sent him pictures of my issue. After I agreed, he had an opening the next day. He texted me again when en-route and arrived a few minutes early. He initially did an assessment of the situation and looked beyond the broken spring to find my garage door itself on it's last legs pointing out previous repairs and structural concerns. Without pressure he simply offered that a full garage door would be more cost effective as that would include matching springs, meaning the replacement springs being installed now should not be transfer over to the new door. I appreciated the offer but sadly I was not prepared to take that on so suddenly, thus we proceeded with the spring replacement as originally planned. Yuval was quick, taking off the old springs and cables with ease and replacing them efficiently. He explained that springs should be replaced in pairs even though one was still intact, as well as the 2 cables - which does all the lifting of the door itself! I have overhead storage racks which I was afraid would hinder the work but it was no issue for him. Afterwards he lubricated all the parts including all the hinges of the door which was a nice touch, leading to our door being the quietest it has ever been. I even observed him tighten other bolts, straighten the tracks, and staple down loose wiring which was outside of the scope of work! He cleaned up after himself, putting back the items that were initially in his way when he started. Small details like this show his attention to detail beyond just being able to do the job. I will certainly be reaching out to Loyalty when it comes time to do a full door replacement. Not only was he knowledgeable with a no-nonsense approach to his recommendations and repair, his prices are very competitive, and has a great warranty; 5-years for the springs. He takes cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and credit card (for a small fee). Overall, it was an great experience and glad I found Yuval and Loyalty Garage Doors!

I initially they thought it was just that white plastic coupler part that AI tells me is probably the cause. But it's not, Liftmaster 2001 has decided to start taking social security. So Irving went through the options... which I am sort of familiar with because I've priced garage door replacements about 3 years ago and new openers run between $700 to $1200. They had 3 options and inner Mr. Frugal tells me to just go with the cheapest chain drive option. But after Irving gives me more details on each one I splurged and went for the top Liftmaster one (not $1200 because that's the fancy side drive opener). I know I should have probably got more quotes but Irving said he could install it immediately, could do it under 2 hours... and I didn't feel like going through more Yelp/NextDoor surfing. Less than 2 hours later, everything's installed, he even did some light maintenance on the door hinges, walked me through the specifics and helped me set up the app. It has a camera, LED lights, backup battery and I think an air fryer and ice cream maker. Belt drive is so quiet, with my old screw drive opener, my whole street knew when our garage opened, but now if I didn't have the app notifications on, I wouldn't know. We did have issues the next day and Irving was unavailable (he did try to help via text) so Daniela sent Henry out and he fixed it within 15 minutes. Now that's some great service!! Guy at Urban Garage Door was actually my first call at Urban Garage Door Repair Services. He asked some very specific questions regarding the garage door, made a quick assessment over the phone, and scheduled me for the next day early in the morning at 7:30 AM--on a Sunday. Crazy how fast he was able to make it out, and I was very appreciative of that. He arrived exactly on time, with a text message 30 minutes prior to let me know he was on his way. This is very professional and appreciated, because who doesn't want an update--especially on an early Sunday morning while you're making breakfast for the kids? He got here, was very professional, made a quick physical assessment of the situation, and gave me a finalized estimate in person. The estimate he gave me on the phone was very accurate and matched very closely with the in-person assessment. He made quick work of the situation and took care of the broken springs in no time. He also let me watch and explained the process to me as he was repairing the garage door. This was simply awesome. Now, I'm not going to go ahead and repair a garage door myself, but it was nice to have a clear and concise explanation of what he was doing and his rationale. Our garage door was broken so we called them out. We told them we could only be home until 4pm and they gave us the window of 2-4pm. We made sure we were home during that time. Well no estimate was provided and they just started the work without any communication. When I heard drilling I asked if they were going to provide an estimate or what? And the workers said, ya, it's almost done, it's $450. No approval, no paperwork, nothing. I was late to my appointment and they said we could leave them locked in the garage, but as we were going to leave they kept having to go through the house to get things from their truck. I didn't want to leave them locked in the hot garage but we really had to leave. The whole situation was so incredibly frustrating. Then the office girl called me to collect payment and made it 100 times worse. I was trying to explain to her that the process was really stressful and she said, "ok so then I'll just have them go back and undo everything they did" .... Are you serious? What kind of customer service is that? What a terrible representation for their business. Had she said, "I understand how that was frustrating. We should have come when we said we were/communicated/provided an estimate/explained what we were even doing/honestly anything? It would have been different. Things happen, I get that, but have accountability and communication. It's very very basic customer service. We paid, we're done with them, but we will never use this company again.
