No wonder they made a racket opening and closing. We put our car in the garage so this has been bothering me for a while. After the rollers are replaced by Liran, opening and closing are pretty quiet. I was glad it was not the motor though although eventually the motor can break if these are not fixed. Liran really knows well about garage door and its problem. I would hire this company again in the future.

So I waited a week to post this review to see if I would ever get a phone call back, but it never happened so this one is for you Leo. The week of thanksgiving I had garage door spring break and contacted this company. They sent someone out the same day, repair was done plus a recommended replacement on another part. No complaints. Pricey, but whatever. Techs were polite, professional. Next day (Thanksgiving), a cable busted. I called to have them come look at it and surprisingly, they were open and said they would send someone out between 2-5. Waited until about 3:30 and got worried and gave them a call. I was told they no techs were going to be able to make it out that day. No call from the company letting me know and im confident if i didn't call, i would have sat there until 5 waiting. I told the dispatcher when I called that I would like someone to come out as soon as possible the next day and that I would like to talk to whoever the manager, owner, supervisor, whoever was in charge so I can let them know what happened with the no-show. They took my info and said they would pass it along. Tech came out the next day, fixed the issue. No complaints. Followed up that same morning about the follow up call with Leo and they confirmed my info. Here we are a week later and no call. This would have been a 4 star review just because of the missed appointment but I dropped it to 3 since Leo didn't bother to follow up. From reading some of the other reviews, sounds like scheduling has been an issue with other customers. Bottom line, you're taking your chances with this company if you need something urgent. If Leo is a made up name that they gave out then I guess Mr Serdoz can address it with his employees. I'm interested in a follow-up call now as much as you were interested in calling me when I asked. However, it took forever for the outsourced company to come by for the installation, and when the guy finally dropped by, he told us that a bunch of other stuff needs to be replaced/repaired before he can even install the new opener, so he ended up leaving without doing anything and we started shopping around for other garage door repairman - that's when I came across Yafa Garage Door. Salem responded to me almost immediately after I sent out the request and showed up within a couple of hours after our brief exchange. He was professional and was able to explain to me what was really going on with our garage door. He then provided different options for us to consider and gave us his honest opinion about his approach, not to mention the price is more than fair. I ended up canceling the Home Depot installation service and had Salem take care of everything altogether. Full transparency, I shopped around for more quotes after Salem's initial assessment. We even received a cheaper quote from another repairman, but we still decided to go with Salem because of his sincere attitude. Salem even told us about things to look out for if we were to go with the other repairman - this truly shows how genuinely he cares about his customers. He was nearby so he was able to come that evening (7 pm) to fix our garage door that wouldnt close. He explained what could be causing it. I'm a new home owner and he explained things really well to me. We also happened to have a garage door opener that we wanted to replace anyway. He replaced the entire motor and pulley system and improved our door sensor placement and wires in about an hour, by himself. But then the motor didn't work! So he helped me find the exact model to get a replacement, told me how I can secure the garage at night so it's safe for us, and when that replacement came a week later, he came right away and changed out the motor, sensors, and openers within 20 mins! Overall, he was awesome, super responsive, professional, quick, trustworthy, and fair price too. He's been in this business for years, so he really knows his stuff. I would 100% contact him again if anything else comes up with the garage.

I replaced the following: -Springs -Wheels -reinforcement strut -Garage door opener (motor) -clicker install on my garage wall I was charged $2,800 total. In hindsight, I blew it. I was beyond stressed and it was one of many things happening that day. After sharing what I paid with some friends, they called me crazy. Which led me to some research... I'm not exaggerating when I say that my materials cost alone was all at least 4x what they go for online. I got completely scammed by these guys & the worker was super arrogant from the start (first red flag). After he left, he posted a "service/repair" number by the clicker for future problems. Wasn't even the same company he was working for (this one). I got completely scammed & at the end of the day, that's my fault. But here I am sharing the story, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for garage work. Hoping this doesn't happen to any other honest, hard working people!
