Do not waste your time looking any further. I have had many of garage doors installed. You are not going to get better service, quality or price. Dan came right out and measured me up and promptly sent me an estimate. He was very patient with me as I went thru all the colors and styles only to decide on my original choice lol....Soleil in the office is wonderful to work with. She will keep you updated thru the entire process. read more

I have been opening my garage door manually for 20 years and decided it's time to fix this problem. My garage door is 30 years old. So I thought I'd get a couple of quotes on price. Overhead door Company sent out their Tech Tony. I can't say enough about Tony. He checked out my issues and fix them. Garage door runs like a charm at 1/5 the cost of what the other quote I got from another company. He saved me $2,000. Tony is honest, honest, honest, three times for emphasis. Tony says that is the motto of Overhead Door company. It is family owned and they care about their reputation. I just can't say enough. It's wonderful not to waste money. Thank you Tony and thank you Overhead Door Company. read more

We had a commercial roll up door that needed to be repaired. Several vendors said that we would have to replace the whole door. Only OC Overhead door said they can try to repair. We can't say enough of how amazing and wonderful this company is! We've placed order for new garage doors with Soleil without realizing how short of time we have to get our garage ready for the new garage doors. When the time came to install the new garage doors we were panicking. After talking to Soleil she was so chill and told us that we can reschedule to our prefer date. That really ease our stress. This is our 2nd time getting garage doors (first time was for our old house) from OC Overhead Garage Doors. Everyone there was so easy to work and communicate with. Their prices were competitive with other garage door companies, and their services are dependable and customer oriented. They might not always be the least expensive out there but they sure make me feel secure in knowing that I am getting great quality doors and great services. read more

Called OC Overhead door and spoke with Soleil about installing a new garage door. She had Dan an installer come to our house give us some options. We picked a door we liked and Dan installed it in one day. This company is no nonsense and very professional. These two people made the job easy. I recommend this company for anyone looking for a good door installed by good people. Again Soleil and Dan were the best read more

Five stars all day long for these guys. One of our vendors busted / bent our overhead door latches at the bottom at one of our Huntington Beach warehouses. I got someone live on the phone right away and the next day Chuck was out there to sort everything out. Constant communication throughout and no surprise up-charges once he got there. He even called to let me know he was going to arrive just a few minutes after he had promised. He couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Thanks guys. read more

My garage door was making loud squeaking noises when I open the garage door and figured it would be a major repair. After I called to request service, Dustin and Tony came the next day and inspected, tested and serviced the garage door and garage door opener. It just required lubricating all moving parts of the door. No trying to sell me anything. I was called and told when the technicians would arrive and was called again when the men were here. This is a local family owned company that I've used for many years and I highly recommend them. Great bang for your buck. Thank you OCOD. read more

Chuck the owner came out to look at my gate which was not completely closing. This company no longer has someone that works on gates, as they did in the past. However, Chuck when out of his way, and spent about a half hour fixing a wire on my gate, that had no contact due to corrosion. He fix the wire and did this repair for FREE!!! What a great company, and good person! I would use them for any garage door issues in the future. Thanks Chuck! read more

I couldn't have been happier with the service I from Dustin. They came same day, said the "screw drive " only needed the correct lubricant/grease applied and also showed me how to correctly spray the wheels and what to use on those. He could have easily oversold and told me things I didn't need but his comment was "if not broken, don't fix it. Gave me suggestions for future lubes and sprays. read more

OC Door was amazing start to finish! The first day we reached out for a quote, OC Door sent someone out to take a look at our outdated garage door/ hardware. We received quotes from a couple companies, but ultimately decided to move forward with OC Door because of their quality of service. Given that we are a historical home, Chuck and Soleil helped us select a wood door that met time period specific qualifications. They kept in regular communication as the door was being manufactured and responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. The door and updated mechanics were installed in one day and looks absolutely beautiful! We are thrilled with the results and would recommend them to anyone!! read more

These guys are dishonest. They gave me a price range over the telephone, then the repair person came with an invoice with the higher price written in before he even saw what was to be repaired. Then he added a metal bracket to the repair and said he would only charge me $100 extra for the bracket!!! (The bracket probably cost around $7). I threw him out and he offered to give me the bracket for free. Protect yourselves from dishonest people. Hire someone else. read more

Super fine job done by Steve Dagel this morning. He was prompt and was able to repair our garage door in a super efficient and fast manner. Our garage door was stuck closed because the tension spring had busted. After Steve was done, the garage door operation was smooth without the usual struggling twisting noise. I highly recommend this company because of the superior knowledge and professionalism that was displayed. A+++ read more

Should have called Orange County Overhead Door to start with instead I called a local company a few miles from my home. They came out the next day and quoted me $795 for 2 springs and labor. The price seemed way out of line for parts and labor. I called Orange County Overhead Door and they quoted me $350 parts and labor and a tech was at home within 2 hours. Tech was knowledgeable, courteous and started working right away. What a mistake and a waste of time it was to call the other company. I have used Orange County Overhead Door in the past and was always pleased with there work and pricing. When I need garage door work in the future I will be calling them. read more

There are businesses and then there are craftsmen, Orange County Overhead Door are the latter. I had the opportunity to have Dustin and Chuck fix my garage door, these guys are solid and you would be hard pressed to find guys who are more professional. After my experience with them I will not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Please support this local OC company and give them your business. Rick W. read more

I have had Chuck and Levi service our buildings for the past 4 years and every time has been a pleasure. Ontime and willing to take on any project, with integrity and they back their work. Today a wall-mount bolt they installed a year ago broke off a rollup door chain-pulley and Chuck was out within 30 minutes, fixed the issue, he checked all our doors for integrity and said it was on the company as they stand behind their work. This was above and beyond and Summerset Professional Grills would recommend OCOD over any company every time. read more

My parents had a garage door emergency at 6pm on a Friday night. The door wouldn't close and they have a lot of stuff stored in the garage that could have gotten stolen. We called and left a message and got a call back not even 10 mins later and 10 mins after that, Chuck was at their house fixing it. He also originally installed this garage door probably more than 10 years ago and this is the first time it has had any problems. I would recommend this company to anyone! They are honest, hardworking and reliable even on a Friday night at dinner time when I'm sure he would rather have been at home. read more

Things started out well when I spoke with Charlie - he clearly knew what he was talking about and was able to point me in the right direction with my custom door request. But things went downhill from there. Charlie was supposed to check with the manufacturer on something and get back to me and that's where it got difficult. I'm not sure if someone was on vacation or what but it took weeks to get someone to call me back and each time there were delays in speaking with who had the answers I needed. This was frustrating but I wasn't in a hurry and they were at least very nice. For me the straw that broke the camel's back: - I had received a slightly lower quote from another vendor but wanted to use OCOD as they seemed nicer over the phone. I asked if they could throw in a MyQ gateway to get the price similar to the other vendor. They said they weren't flexible at all on the price which surprised me a bit since this was a cheap item and they could have easily won my business. - They asked that I send them a check for the deposit and that they did not accept credit cards. For me this was just too much, I don't have much patience for companies who rely on antiquated technologies like the mail and checks - unless there's good reason or big savings to do so. I called George at All County Garage Doors the next day and ended up using his services and was able to get a better door for significantly less money. read more

I phoned mid- morning in a panic...my garage door wouldn't budge! Orange County Overhead has been our Go To for all garage door issues since the '80s! They got me on their calendar for an emergency fix and within a day Technician Dustin arrived and we had our new overhead springs. On the spot, I scheduled for an entire new opener system for all the garage doors. These opener systems are a major part of our home security as well as a great convenience, right?! My mom got garage doors through Chuck years ago, and we have had no problems with the function of these doors..Chuck has a good, long-standing track record, and is very reputable..when I came time for me to get garage doors for my duplex, it was the same, honest, dependable service. These garage doors stand the test if time. And, if you have any questions, or there's any little glitch, he's right on it, and is knowledgable. Chuck fixed a re-aligment that I needed, from something that was an obstructiion of closure, and from being my own fault. He was in and out in no time, and made what I thought was a huge problem seem so small. You receive better personal attention, than a larger company with mass volume of hirees.. read more
