I have nothing but great things to say about Joel and the whole Vigorous Landscaping team. We had our entire yard redesigned thru YardZen, and looked at 4 different landscapers for implementation. Ultimately went with Vigorous Landscaping because they were responsive, honest, and had great reviews. The entire project took about 6 weeks to finish. In the process, they installed new fencing, new railings, artificial turf, lots of new plants, drip irrigation, mulch, DG, new pavers, new stairs, new porch, electrical work, and repainted the house. Before Joel and his team came into our lives, our family was stuck with a forest and an unmanageable hillside that we couldn't enjoy in our backyard. We were lucky to have found Joel and his fantastic team of workers by chance when our neighbors were having their yard re-done. We noticed his workers were doing nice quality work and were always working hard. We had his team replace our backyard fence on both sides and ended up having him fix our dilapidated back garden retaining wall; In addition he did the front wall that had a crack going through it, and he came up with a great idea to put stacked stone veneer on the wall to repair it. Joel first came to my house to review the situation and gave me a real good quote, so I gave him the job. We hired Joel to revamp our front yard. He came out with his father for a few initial consultations before the work began to help us narrow down exactly what we wanted, working within a budget and scheduling. We had a number of obstacles and challenges, including a legacy irrigation system, lots of concrete, old trees and a sloped area that we wanted leveled. Not only did Joel and his crew address all of these issues, but they did it considerably faster than we expected (often working in the rain and even on Saturdays).
