I like Viet Pho. I work in South Denver. If I"m not near Saigon Pho on Arapahoe, this is my quick in and out Pho stop! The waiters always recognize me, remember my fav Pho and occasionally bring me wings on the house since I'm a regular. You can't go wrong here. If anything they sometimes get crowded but they work their way through it. I've been maybe 30-40 times and never a bad experience. Service is quick with a smile and they have always got my order right. They have good broth. I've never had anything there but PHO since I'm becoming a closet Phoholic. I have to give this place credit - it has improved a lot in the past two or three years. The first time I went the broth was nothing special. In recent months the quality has improved drastically, and more than that - the service is excellent. The pho is tasty and the portions generous. I have gone here often with Indian co-workers who are not beef eaters. The waitress (who I think must also be an owner) has gone above and beyond in making sure their needs are met, from their desire for chicken or veg broth, and water without ice. I usually go here and have Pho. Today I tried Sesame Chicken with Vegetables. It wasn't the best. The "vegetables" were 4 pieces of carrots and broccoli used as garnish. It's tough to rate Vietnamese food when you have already eaten at what you consider to be the best (Lemongrass in CSprings). However I'm on a quest to find an awesome Vietnamese restaurant near my new home. Unfortunately this was not it. I had the combination bun as well as spring rolls which is easy to compare from restaurant to restaurant since I generally do have the same thing. The meat was entirely dry at this restaurant. My wife and I were hesitant to try a pho restaurant in the Highlands Ranch area but decided to visit Viet Pho because of the convenience in location. We ordered a large combination bowl of Pho and the Lo Mein. Their "large" bowl was the same size as Pho 95's small bowl and about two dollars more expensive. I was pleased to see that the combination came with tripe and was somewhat authentic. The pho was decent but still cannot compare to Pho 95 or Pho 79. The Lo mein was honestly the worst lo mein I've ever had in my life. I've had better from Panda Express for half the price. It was way too greasy, overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. It was so bad we couldn't even finish half the dish and we never waste food. To top off the experience the service was less than average. The bottom line: the Pho is decent but is over priced. If you need to get your Pho fix and don't want to drive to federal then this place can satisfy that fix. Don't order the lo mein! read more

Outstanding family-owned restaurant that is great for lunch! Heard the Pho is great, but the Curry with extra veggies is an exceptional value and full of flavor! You won't go hungry and will likely have leftovers. They do not use MSG in their food wither, which is a huge plus! I didn't have the chance to try one (because I was full from lunch) but their Boba Smoothies looks amazing and I am told they are all made with fresh ingredients vs other establishments that primarily use artificial flavoring. read more

Pho was terrible, it was very bland, too sweet, and they don't give nearly enough toppings to go in it. Also they only have a small or large, and their large is smaller than most mediums. Our eggrolls were burnt too. The service was good though and their menu is very extensive. But to be honest I have no idea why there were so many people in there. We won't be going back. read more

Usually I get pho here but yesterday decided to branch out and try their sesame chicken lunch special. It claimed to have come with a side of veggies... It was more of a garnish of 3 pieces of broccoli and 2 pieces of carrots. Which were cold. I wouldn't order this again as the chicken was too salty and the veggies were cold. However, I do like the pho here (not outstanding but it's solid) so will be back and just might try something else on the menu too if I'm feeling adventurous. read more

MSG aside, their broth is way too watery and flavorless. They skimp on the meat and the fresh vegetables. Our basil and bean sprouts were limp and they provided only two jalapeño slices for two bowls of soup. Thank goodness they had sriracha to give the broth a little more flavor. Our appetizer of the shrimp was not bad, but the dipping sauce was old and once again, skimpy portions. Will not return. Do not recommend. Decent pho- available in Small and a Large bowls. I personally think the noodles are slightly thinner than usual. $2.50 for bottle Singtao and Kirin beer. Overall I like viet pho. I have gotten their brisket pho two times now. Unfortunately, their brisket is soooo fatty I end up picking out half of it. I would recommend ordering from a new place for brisket or going through it prior to putting it in a to go container. Other than that it is good! read more

I was staying at Sky Ridge after having our baby and was cruising around looking for some dinner. I stumbled across Viet Pho and seeing is I don't eat Pho in the summer I was beyond craving it. I was a Saturday night and I had just missed the dinner crowd. The owner was there and was super friendly. The Pho was really good. My only two complaints are the portion size wasn't as big as I'm used to and they didn't have any vegetarian options on the Pho. They had a full menu and much more Pho to try out. Mixed feelings. We got take out the other day so I know the experience is already compromised. The soup was kind of flat(as another reviewer said) but their sign said "no MSG" so maybe that's why? Sapa curry with shrimp is so delicious Didn't like the spring rolls as they lacked any flavor and the sauce was too sweet However the curry makes up for this, as does the cashew chicken and the service was great. I feel bad, because I'm a fan of any pho place that tries to make a go of it. Everyone seemed real nice, and it was a nice atmosphere. It was, however, by far the worst pho I have ever had in my life. I would chalk it up to "maybe they were having a bad day" but there it was SO off that I can't imagine anyone having that bad a day. The broth tasted suspiciously like canned beef broth, maybe with salt added. That was offensive enough, but it was also served lukewarm. Great, hot broth is the secret to great pho, and this was as far from both as I've ever experienced at a pho joint. Add to this that the meat was greasy and chewy, and I couldn't get through even half the bowl -- and pho is my favorite food. If you think this is great pho, my advice is to, you know, try anywhere else. Good luck to them, though. read more

Went here because the area is decidedly lacking in Pho resturants. It was *ok*, but nothing I would ever come back for. The broth was weak, and the noodles were chewy. As another reviewer mentioned, their large bowls were the size of the small bowls at other places. The service was decent, but the concept of pho and the required utensils seemed to confuse the waitress. You should still venture up north if you want good Pho, but this will do in a pinch. read more

Very much enjoyed our Pho here. Having not tried very many Pho places in Colorado I basically just went to the closest one to me. Atmosphere was friendly and seemed family owned (haven't confirmed that) our waitress was a little slow bringing my wife and I drinks and taking our order so I give 4 stars for that. Very good food. Excellent pork pho. Loved it! Will go again for sure as it is pretty close to my apartment. I just hope we get snappier service and I'll be happy to change review to 5 stars. read more
