I have been to this place on a number of occasions as it's convenient to my house. Up to this point I found the Pho to be decent. This last visit however found the beef Pho to be very bland, almost like it was diluted with mostly water, which disappointed me a great deal. I think the pho here is just fine. We had the brisket and steak. The broth was very flavorful and the meat was better quality than a lot of other places. Plus at $7 for a small bowl (but large on the amount of food) can't beat that. read more

I am an pho- enthusiast. I literally eat it 2-3 time a week. I'm not sure if it's due to the lack of diversity in Lone Tree but this pho was trash. It tasted like beef bouillon soup. No flavor to it at all. I also had the spring rolls with fish sauce and the fish sauce was literally out of the bottle- straight vinegar with a little bit of fish sauce. This restaurant is on the right track offering organic vietnamese food as well as gluten free options. The Pho I had on our first visit here was very good, but well beyond optimum sodium levels. Saltiest Pho I've ever encountered. Having made only visit, I don't know if that is the norm or an off day, but I would encourage them to evaluate salt levels in their food. This was my first experience with Vietnamese cuisine, and I was impressed. I ordered Pho Tai and crab wontons, and both were excellent. The pho broth was delicate and tasted great, and the garnishes and meat were fresh. The wontons tasted like what you'd find in several good Chinese restaurants, but they were good and so was the sweet and sour sauce on the side. The atmosphere was welcoming and the people very friendly on the Friday night I stopped in for takeout. I love Vietnamese food, having spent some time in Vietnam I grew a real appreciation for it and how it is prepared, when it is done right. I just moved to the area and have found my go to place. Vietnamese food is naturally Gluten Free. However a lot places "cheat" and use flour to thicken their bone broth, for their Pho for example. Not here! They are naturally GF, they do not use MSG and they use fresh ingredients.The reason restaurants will use MSG (Chemically made salt) is because it gives the food "pop". I have had their Pho and and several other dishes and they are excellent, with out the MSG. The service is good for both take out and dine in. Price are also great compared to other stores that do the same cuisine. Will be repeating. read more

What the pho??? The pho didn't have the deep savory broth flavoring. The spring rolls were nice. The tapioca drinks were watered down. The beef cube plate was chewy. They didn't have a huge selection of Vietnamese soups and dishes. They did offer Chinese dishes like chicken teriyaki. The service was slow. In all, it was alright but not the best. read more

Great food and service. Seems to be a secret favorite of locals. Pho is delicious and has a great flavor! For something spicy try the lemongrass beef noodle bowl. I'm not sure why Dana M. said food went downhill after name change, its the same chef and menu. New owners are enthusiastic and have regularly-changing specials to introduce possible new dishes. The broth in the traditional pho is not as flavorful as most other places in town. Only offers 2 sizes; small and large (which is more like a regular). The restaurant was clean and service was quick, although there were only 5 customers during lunch hour. Can't really complain. read more

The broth is fresh, light and delicious, the service and staff are excellent, and all the appetizers I've had so far have been incredible. Their crab cheese wontons are amazing, fluffy and rich without being too heavy or greasy. The owner is extremely friendly and more than willing to talk (your ear off) about the healthier alternative to pho they serve, as well as the other Asian places her family owns. Just happened to be in Lone Tree/Highlands ranch area doing some work for my parents. There are a lot of chain restaurants out here and even some good options like Via Baci and Crave. But when you got to have pho, you gotta have pho. Thank goodness that the pho craze has even hit the far out suburbia. Viet Pho is located in a strip mall and as I entered it was a nicely decorated restaurant, nothing special, but not a dive. I got my standard large, rare steak and well done brisket. The large here is about a medium at other placed. Service was fast and courteous and they were quick to fill up my water. I will say that if you are going to run a pho joint, you have to have plenty of napkins handy. Viet Pho only gave me one. Overall the pho was alright, but it did not seem as rich a broth or as large of portions as I am use to. Since I have family out this way and since I have an addiction to pho, I will definitely be coming back here. read more

Of all the broths I have tried in the Denver area, theirs is by far the most bland. Portions are small compared to other establishments and are a bit pricey for what you get. This is my favorite pho restaurant in the area. The broth, steak, and noodles are always perfect. The prices for large bowls and extras are very inexpensive and the portions are huge. My only complaint is that the amount and variety of veggies in the soup is not very consistent, and I've had to pick out a couple of bad-looking pieces of lettuce or onion here and there, but this is pretty rare. My wife loves the Vietnamese fried rice and egg rolls, but their pho is so good, I am rarely tempted to try other menu items. They have a loyalty punch card that gets you your tenth entree or bowl free, and the owner and staff are lovely people. read more

First time here. We got here early, 11:45 AM, they were full up in 5 minutes. We were seated right away, orders taken and delivered promptly. We had the spring rolls- GREAT! I'm a big fan of pho. Now, don't get me wrong... I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur, or an expert, but I have eaten pho around Denver for a number of years. And, granted, I've always gone places that were highly rated... but, Viet Pho's pho was just not very good. I ordered the Pho with steak and brisket and took it to go. The steak was raw - which is common when ordering pho. That's okay. The brisket was cooked, but was dry and tasted like pot roast. It came with a good assortment of vegetables, though I was a little annoyed that the cilantro was finely chopped (as I don't care for cilantro in my pho). It had nice packets of hoisin and sriracha. The "small" size was a good size for my lunch. However, the big downside was the broth. The broth was mostly just salty. Pho broth should have more body to it. Yes, this is MSG-free (a big plus!), but it's also somewhat low on "meaty flavor". Alas, even though it's close to where I work, I won't eat their pho again. read more

It's hard to find a great pho restaurant, and this place is, hands down, the best pho restaurant I've been to. My husband and I always come here for our pho fix, and we like to try their different dishes as well. I'm also a big fan of their rice plates, and their curry is excellent. They also started serving mochi ice cream which I love because I haven't had mochi nor can I find it here in Colorado since we've moved from California. The owners are also VERY nice and friendly. They are very attentive to their customers and take good care of us every time we're there. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic and DELICIOUS Vietnamese food. read more
