TLDR: Excellent flavorful Mexican style desserts made with fresh ingredients. Customer service and signage needs work. As a fan of their Cary location, I was excited to find out they have a Knightdale location too. Unfortunately this location is not as good as the one is Cary. Although they seem well staffed, the line moves slow. Plus during our visit, they were out of numerous items. This could have been an irregular experience, however, if it happens often I recommend they shorten their menu or post when items are out of stock. This would shorten the wait time since customers would not have to decide on a different item to order. Due to out of stock items, we ordered different items than originally planned. This was no big deal, however, we did not receive the new items we ordered. We ordered a churro sundae and dipped popsicle. We received a banana split and guava popsicle. The ice cream flavors, donut sandwich, and popsicle flavors we originally ordered were out of stock. I'm sure they would have fixed it, but we did not bother correcting them due to the long line. Nonetheless, the items were incredible. The flavors are strong and fresh and the desserts well balanced. I usually order mangonada, but was happy to try the guava popsicle. The popsicle flavors are posted at the end of the display case (at the front) rather than near the menu. This works for when you are ordering just a popsicle, but not for when you are ordering a dipped popsicle unless you already know what flavor you want. I recommend posting a popsicle menu by the main menu as well. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and liked how they stay open late. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet as I tell everyone about it! I was thrilled when they opened a shop in Knightdale (though it's also dangerous for me during the summer). I feel like you can't pigeon hole this place as it has so many different options...ice cream of all kinds, funky chip things, popsicles, and my absolute favorite - the mangonada. It's a delicious concoction of mango chunks with a mango sherbet and a spicy sauce of some sort. The popsicles are amazing. I only get the ones made with milk. They dip things like whole Oreo cookies, pieces of graham cracker, etc. into the mix and let it freeze up. Get the fruity pebbles one! Trust me. They all have so much flavor. read more

I love this place!! Of of my favorite spots when I want a desert or something really random. The fruit is so good especially with tajin and chamoy. The deep fried dessert, Corn . The ice cream roll. This was an amazing experience. They offer 80 flavors of popsicles, 20 flavors of ice cream, incredible items like fried spaghetti, other gourmet mexican items and rolled ice cream. My wife got a strawberry slush made with real fruit. My rolled ice cream was fresh made getting cream, fresh cut pineapple, fresh strawberries, filled with Carmel sauce and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. I was wanting some ice cream my friend and I stumbled upon this place. The young lady that waited on me was really nice. My friend was next for service after me and didn't get waited on by the other worker, she ended up not getting anything. That would have left a bad taste in my mouth too. They have a variety of food, drinks, and ice cream. I order the churro ice cream sundae. The ice cream sundae comes with three scoops of ice cream, two pieces of churro, and you can pick whichever toppings you would like to top off your Sundae. I pick three different flavors of ice cream; pistachio, butter pecan, Oreo, and topped off with pecans and chocolate syrup. The churros were decent, but the ice cream was one note. I feel like I couldn't taste a big difference between the different flavors of ice cream. I was very disappointed in the Oreos because my ice cream didn't have Oreos in it. I couldn't taste the pecans in the butter pecan, and the pistachio was the only one that I could actually taste pistachio nuts. Needless to say I wasn't impressed with the ice cream. read more

So exciting that this street food shop got to open up another store in NE Raleigh!! So many desserts lasting from sweet to savory. My favorite is elote/corn in a cup- corn is my favorite veg but it being mixed with cheese, mayo, a hint of lime and taki dust is a warm inviting snack in the winter. Or, when it becomes hot and you want fruit without all the sugar - their mild, refreshing popsicles will feel like fruit fossilized in a sorbet just for you (my picks are kiwi for water based and horchata for milk based). i have been going to the Vida Dulce location in Cary since they have opened and their customer service is great, the way they work hard and fast to get customers in and out is unmatched. unfortunately this location in knightdale is not good, i have been in line for almost 30 min on a weekday, lets not say on a weekend, and they seem to not be aware that there are alot of customers waiting and that time is of the essence. ive seen them just talk and take their time to make these orders and unfortunately it makes me not even want to come to this location. read more
