Popped in here and tried the pie and coffee flight. The service was amazing and the presentation was great. We enjoyed getting to try a variety of pies. We felt that the pie dough was very thick, like a biscuit, but the fillings were great. The Rueben and the coffees were really good.

    Assortment of pies on display.

Our usual pie place was closed for renovations and was looking for a pie on short notice. Found this place and didn't disappoint. The banana cream pie was made when ordered and amazing. Also got their mini apple and cherry pies. Recommend checking them out and we will be trying them again when in that area.

Looking for a fresh and original breakfast spot before heading to the Tomball Farmers Market? Victory Pie Cafe is the place to be! Enjoy your hot pie the way it's meant to be -- sitting down and savoring every bite! The first taste feels like a warm hug, especially on a rainy, chilly Saturday. Breakfast and lunch are served all day, so I couldn't resist ordering the biscuit and gravy pie with a side of fresh fruit and a chai latte. Pure comfort food! Victory Pie Cafe is a charming, locally-owned gem. Support this mom-and-pop shop -- you won't be disappointed!

Special was 1/2 Chicken salad sandwich with two sides and drink. Touch of tarragon in the chicken salad on croissant. Salad with balsamic- very fresh. Berries naturally sweet. Of course I tried the pie - nice tart cherries in generous crust. Quite good.

Cozy place with delicious and healthy food as well as excellent sevice. Wife had her eye on this place and we finally got to pay a visit. We had a good time chatting and sketching while sipping on our iced lattes. They were supposed to close 20 mins ago but waited patiently for us to have our food without hurrying us out or reminding us of their hours. The wife was touched by how nice they all were. Definitely check it out!

Nice cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious food! Veterans and first responders discount.

Ask the Community - Victory Pie

What gluten free foods do they serve?

Hi Beth. Thank you for asking. Approximately 80% of our breakfast and lunch menu converts to gluten-free if it is not already gluten-free on its own. As far as Pies go, the options change daily but we have a range usually anywhere from 5 to 7…

I hadn't been here in years, but it's every bit as good as I remember! I came specifically for…read moretheir staples, the breakfast croissant sandwich and the breakfast tacos, and they did not disappoint. Both were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth the visit. I also tried the peach mango smoothie, which was perfectly refreshing. The carrot cake was decent, though it seemed like it might be outsourced. That said, the quality of the main food items more than makes up for it. The ambiance of the coffee shop is warm and inviting, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Overall, this spot still earns a solid five stars for its consistently great food and welcoming atmosphere!

Typically when I have a bad experience with a company, I improve my communication in the future and…read moreif all else fails I just pick another place. However, it is obvious that the person that started Barbarossa has a great vision, and we have been going since they were just about to open their second shop. The owner provides above average products yet sadly it is almost always ruined by the incompetence of the hired staff. So I will be sharing my experience today, as well as the pattern of the most baffling interactions I have had over the last year. Today, my partner ordered the breakfast bagel (this comes with avocado), I ordered a croissant with only eggs over hard (this doesn't come with avocado according to their menu). Also it is necessary to ask for eggs over hard otherwise the egg whites will be oozing off your croissant. And I mean this with full disrespect because while cooking is a skill that requires development. How. On. Earth. Do you serve someone a raw egg? It is clearly visible, you don't need a food thermometer, it might literally be the simplest thing to cook. You can practice at home for next to nothing! When you ask for eggs for hard here, they will be close to over medium if you're lucky. Today, since they put avocado on my partners bagel I guess they decided to just add it to mine because why not? Well why not is because it's not on the menu, and I did not ask for it and I'm paying for the item I asked for. Not your random remix. Additionally, every time I order, I make sure to specify I want my matcha UNSWEET. Every time they say "ma'am it doesn't come with sweetner" and I hold my tongue because I know well enough if I don't say that, they add SWEETNER. And since my husband ordered this morning and didn't say unsweet, my Matcha ended up sweet. Once? Fine. Twice? Everyone makes mistakes. It's a drink idc. But every single time unless the customer specifies? Are these people being trained? Do they have the capacity to be trained? And sure you might be thinking wow that's harsh. So I shall share a previous experience. I wanted to purchase a lanyard, we all know a lanyard is about 20 inches long right? Well I asked to buy a lanyard in the drive thru, I was told they didn't sell lanyards, not that they were out of stock. No according to this employee they don't sell them, never have. Mind you I had just seen it in the store a few days earlier. I'm not one to argue so I acted as if it were my mistake. A few days later I stopped inside to see if they had any left in store. They had several, I took it to the register and asked to purchase the lanyard. She said "you mean our dog leashes!" ........... I thought she was pulling a little joke. She wasn't. I'm sorry have you seen someone walk a dog? Have you ever seen a dog leash shorter than 2 feet? Have you ever seen a dog? She genuinely begins to argue with me because she can't find the button for dog leashes in the system. (DUH girl! Because the company you work at doesn't sell dog leashes. How do I know that and you don't?) The manager walked over and chose the LANYARD button to which this young lady says snarkily "oh I guess it is a lanyard". The manager looked bewildered at her and I thought surely he will now realize how lacking his staff is. However that wasn't the case. So I beg. Please train them. Fire them. Replace them with robots please. I don't care. I'm even happy to give them gentle instruction on how to do their job if you'll at least teach them not to talk back. Don't assume they know what a lanyard, or a croissant, or a cup is because it just might be to the failure of your company. Bonus: a lot of these kids seem to not know that the source of sugar is what they call "flavoring" :) If I don't want sugar, it feels like common sense that I don't want vanilla with sugar in it? Sincerely written as a person that supports smaller coffee shops in hopes that they succeed over chains.

I ordered a coffee my first trip, and was hesitant to return but I'm now glad I did! Second time around I left the business with a specialty coffee, specialty drink, a few cupcakes and two pup cups for the boys. Everything was consumed, everything was enjoyed and my pups were treated like little furry kings. Initially, I did not plan to leave a review, but the fact that I crave a cupcake everytime I'm in the area speaks volumes.

Everything we tried tasted like it had been made that morning, and you could tell there was real attention to quality. The croissants were incredibly flaky with those beautiful buttery layers that practically melted apart. The cookie croissant was easily the star of the visit--warm, gooey, packed with cookie butter, and just enough chocolate to keep it from being overly sweet. The cinnamon roll was soft, rich, and generously frosted without becoming overwhelming. The s'mores cookie was perfectly crisp around the edges, soft in the center, and topped with toasted marshmallow and Hershey chocolate that made it feel nostalgic without being gimmicky. We also grabbed a carrot cake cupcake that was light, moist, and beautifully decorated, plus a few iced coffees and a refreshing fruit tea that paired perfectly with all the pastries. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was bright, clean, and welcoming. It was the kind of place where you can sit with friends over coffee or grab a box of pastries to take home (which you'll probably wish you'd done after the first bite). We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in--just don't expect to leave with only one pastry.
