This place is a nice hidden gem that I would definitely try again, especially as its proximity to home lets me fulfill my pie cravings much easier. Just walking into the place felt nice, as the rustic furniture and aesthetic made it very cozy. I ordered the beef pot pie with a side salad and my friend ordered the chicken pot pie with chips. The lady at the cash register already told us in advance that there would be a wait, so the longer wait was easily made up for the nice staff and atmosphere. The pie was great, being very filling despite its size being on the smaller end. The side salad also helped to contrast the richness of the pie, however I don't know if the pie with a salad that size would warrant a meal over 10 dollars. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something new. Despite its higher price range, the food was excellent. I'll look forward to ordering some of the other kinds of pies when I come back to this area! read more

My husband and I like to have breakfast/lunch dates on the weekend. A girlfriend of mine at work read a review and told me I needed to go since I didn't live too far, and she was right!! The menu is spectacular and varied. They also serve breakfast all day long. We had the French toast sandwich (not sure if that was the name), a chicken salad croissant, and my husband went for the burger. Which he absolutely loved. Everything was delicious. Then came the pies... oh dear! Dangerously good. My husband thought the pies were a little pricey, but I don't think he's ever made a pie in his life. If you had, you can surely appreciate the labor it goes into them and into any other desserts. The part that touched me the most about it all, is the story of how the place came to be. This place has been on my family's radar for a while now. I am not a huge pie fan but my family from California is visiting so we had to make this a stop! We went on a Wednesday morning and there was no wait! It was so cute inside and honors first responders and veterans which I thought was super special! My mom and I split the hash brown bowl and it was delicious. We then split a coffee/pie flight where we got to pick 3 pie flavors. We got chocolate crème, key lime and peanut butter. My aunt got banana crème which was my favorite. Only downside is you can't pick the coffee in the coffee flight and they were a little strong for my liking but still very good! Comfort food at its tastiest. I had avocado toast, biscuits and gravy pot pie, and a pumpkin muffin. All were delicious, but the biscuits and gravy pot pie was so unbelievably tasty and innovative. They use the biscuit dough as pie crust, and it maintains this incredible pull-apart texture. The gravy is delicious, seasoned perfectly. I came back a few days later and they had already sold out of pumpkin muffins, but said they were going to bake some more. So I just had a pot pie, waited a few hours, and came back when the new pumpkin muffins were ready. This time I got two so I'd have one for tomorrow. The people are very nice and clearly enjoy what they're doing. Very caring. Wow what can I say about this place? I have never set foot in their cozy friendly location, and have never even been in the city of Magmolia Texas. But something about the name, the owner, the cause, drew me to this place and I bugged them for months about shipping long distance. I've ordered live lobster from Maine, Steaks from Nebraska, Salmon from Alaska, and beer from everywhere. So why not pies from Texas? Finally I was able to get a pie delivered all the way to Orange County, CA without a huge delivery fee. So which pie did I get? Apple Crumb? American Berry? Pecan? Nope I got the Biscuits and Gravy Pot pie. It arrived quickly, and and was still frozen solid in the middle. I cooked it the next day for my family, and OM Gravy, it was amazing. I have had biscuits and gravy all over this country including the south, and this ranks up there as one of the best. Crust was amazing and had that biscuit texture and flavor, while the sausage gravy inside had just enough pepper, and seasoning to make me excited there was leftovers for the next day. My kids said next time they want a sweet and fruity pie, and we can't wait but I would highly recommend the biscuits and gravy pie, the next time your family is over for the holidays, plan ahead as I was told they can freeze for up to 2 months. The best part about Victory pie is that a portion of what they sell goes to help support veterans organizations. read more

Strange, but ok -- of course we received 2 pies none of us would ever eat, but we decided to bring them home. The coffees were tiny, only enough for 1 or two sips. After taking a sip of my latte, I found a fly - YUK - I took it upfront and quietly let the girl know. She did apologize, I thought she would ask to replace it or give me a credit, but she just walked away. The place was cute but super small. We will definitely not be returning. Once, I went there for lunch with my three kids and they were pretty unimpressed with their grilled cheese sandwich lunch. My order got messed up, but they fixed it right away and the french dip sandwich was good. I haven't tried the dessert pies yet, so I'm hopeful for this place and glad it's here.
