I am new to the area and was nervous to find a new nail salon, but with a wedding coming up I figured now was a good time. This place has a nice website and it was easy to schedule my appointment online. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and directed to sign in. The store was clean and way busier than I expected for a place that had just opened on a Saturday. The women who did my pedicure was very nice and we chatted a bit about our lives while she worked. The pedicure was great up until another women sat next to me for a pedicure. The women doing my feet instantly started chatting with her coworker, who was working on the women next to her. Normally I wouldn't mind this, but the quality of her work instantly dropped. It was towards the end of my pedicure, so it did not ruin my experience, but it did leave me a bit disappointed with the massage. I chose the pedicure I had for the longer massage time. Overall I would come back, as my toes looked very nice and the place is close by, but I would hope that this does not happen to me again. read more

As a walk in, it was great, fast service. The store has been renovated and is clean and fresh inside. My nail technician did a wonderful job, was very detail oriented, and we had a fun conversation. I will be back! read more

Wont come back here, service is hit or miss depending who you get. I've gotten dip every 3 weeks for over a solid year and whoever did my nails did it completely different ( the process is mostly the same everywhere) within 4 days one of my nail corners lifted and then cracked off so then my real nail underneath broke, I filed it and moved on because who has time to go sit again ( I have small children so it's already a luxury) well then I notice a nail completely crack across the whole middle and other nails cracking and lifting as well so I call and she essentially said that since I was over a week (literally less that 24 hours over my one week mark) I would have to pay to get them fixed. So I pay $60 after tips for nails that only looked decent for maybe 4 days. No thanks read more

Shitty and bad quality all around. Save your money. If I could do zero stars I would. Vibes were weird and seemed kinda scammy. I requested a certain shape and length and dude acted like he couldn't do it. I almost got a nail infection on my thumb because he used his OWN nail to push the skin underneath my nail. There were gaps between the acrylic and my nail bed. Also the acrylic was too thick and extremely uneven. read more

Very disappointed. I got a dip powder service and 2 days later they all cracked somehow and one nail completely chipped /let me tell ya I even don't use my hands and normally the dip stays at my nails for 3 weeks/. Went back to try fixing them and they did it which was okay but couldn't even match the same colour and at this point I was just done! My cuticles are so bad, never touched during the service. read more

They were in a hurry and did a terrible job. She burned my finger with the dremel and cut one of my fingers with the file. She so rough I thought she was going to rip one of my fingers off. I would not recommend this nail salon. I called and made an appointment for Friday 10 am for a mani/pedi. First impressions, the salon wasn't very clean. The tray next to the pedicure chair looked like it had not been clean in a while, and the manicure station had old water bottles just laying around. Problems with pedicure- Gi Bi (name on the name tag) took maybe 5 minutes to clean the cuticles, she did not remove my old polish and did the shellac polish over it. I was willing to overlook that as I figured it was an honest mistake. Problems with manicure- Very rushed cuticle removal, I can honestly do better job myself at home. Again, I was willing to overlook. However, the problems didn't end there... When I got home, I realized the shellac polish didn't even come close to the cuticle line. Again, I was willing to overlook and figured next time I would ask them to do a better job. Today, Saturday, one day after the manicure, the top coat has a cracked appearance, and the shellac polish is pealing up. It looks horrible! I was told shellac last a lot longer, which clearly was a lie. I'm traveling out of state, I have to find another place to redo my nails before Christmas, and I have to spend more money. Next time I want to waste $100, I will just set the $100 bill on fire. I will never return to this place. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here last weekend, however, after 7 days of having my shellac manicure done, it is peeling off on 6 of my fingernails and the cuticles were clearly not taken care of on several fingers as they've already come back. I don't excessively wash my hands or anything abnormal. It is not worth the nearly $40 spent here for the shellac to just peel off. Very disappointed as it was my first time here. Let me start this off by saying i get my nails done so I don't bite or pick the skin around them. So I'm not at all picky or worried about perfection. I used to love this place. I went religiously every 2 weeks for a full set/fill and a pedicure as my one thing I did for me. I was always satisfied which made the 45 minute drive worth it to me. I don't know if they changed their operations? If they started using new product or something else but the polish now just doesn't seem to stick. I went in on a Friday, as he was finishing up, we both noticed all these bubbles forming on my nails. Regardless, he rubbed them up and down a couple times and then sent me on my way. Within an hour the polish was like old leather and just stripping/breaking off my nails. By Sunday 88% of the nail polish was gone and my nails looked absolutely atrocious. I called Monday to see what could be done, it just didn't seem acceptable to me after paying 50+. After talking to someone on the phone, she set up an appointment for me to come in and get them fixed no charge to me. Cool. Not upset. Things happen. Come my appointment, I walk in, they ask what I was coming in for, told them I had an appointment, explained what happened etc. I then had to physically point out where I sat and who did my nails initially which was awkward af. And was told I didn't have an appointment. Okay, whatever nbd. Waiting a few minutes has a lot of people bouncing in and out to remove leftover color, prep them etc. because my initial person was in the middle of a client, the owner ended up repainting them. Again this was Friday. It is now Monday, multiple nails have bubbles again, and 2 have started peeling off. Let's just say I won't be back. The people are great (granted I don't know what they're saying between each other lol) however the quality is just not to par. Very weird the sudden change. In the photos, the first round was the matte. The second round she forgot about the matte so those are the gloss pictures. I'm not mad at it not being matte however it did let me know it wasn't the matte aspect that caused the bubbles. read more

Over a year ago my nail tech of over 25 years decided to move to California. To my dismay I had to start looking for a new nail salon. Those of us who find who we like and stay for decades, you know how hard it is to start from scratch! I had tried 5 other places before finding Victory Nails. And actually my sister and niece found them and I am so thankful they did!   The staff is amazing! They are very friendly and personable. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The pricing is fair. I absolutely LOVE this place. I love it so much that if my nail tech of 25 years moves back to town, I will stay with Victory Nails!   Nikki and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they do a great job. I have been going there for about a year now and I have had several people do my nails. Yes there are better nail techs than others BUT I have never had a bad experience. I do prefer one or two over another, but it doesn't matter who does my nails they always look great!! The staff are always friendly and professional and my nails look great!! Update: Vincent, the owner, and his wife are the sweetest people ever. After my original review Vincent contacted me and offered to fix my nails. I came in today and he and his wife redid my nails. They look fabulous and I'm in love with them. I have found my new salon. I'll see y'all again in a few weeks! Original review: 2 stars The salon looked so promising based on the reviews and amount of people inside, but I'm not very happy. I went it for a shellac manicure. I called the business ahead of time to request an appointment and to inquire about price. They stated over the phone it would be $8 for a manicure plus $15 for the shellac. It ended up being $35. The end product isn't very good either. There are remnants of my old color on the edge of my nail, heir is gel color on my skin, the color wasn't brought all the way to the top of my nails so their are some naked spots, and the color wasn't taken to the edge of my nail. I wanted this to be a good experience but sadly it wasn't. read more

I would not recommend this place. Walk ins welcome is laughable!! I waited over an hour for a color change. Mind you this was to correct the complete botched job they had done three days prior. The last couple of times I've gone for manicure/pedicure services, I've felt rushed and the quality was below average for the price. My most recent appointment was last week and I tried SNS and was not at all impressed. My nails were not smooth, he didn't file them the way I requested and just didn't look well manicured. I went home and immediately starting working on my nails to get them the way I wanted them. I paid $63.00 (tip included) for the SNS nails with a manicure and I feel it was way overpriced for the quality of work. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon and they were not as crowded as they usually are so no need for the rush job. Sorry but I won't be back. read more

I didn't feel it rated at a 1 star but my technician scalded the top of my foot during the pedicure- I didn't feel it until I was drying my finger nails after my manicure and left, but really what would they do? Prices are cheap but with cheap, comes along cleanliness and they don't seem very clean. I don't see them using new tools or sanitizing them, didn't see them clean the bowls out after use (could be wrong they may have..) which I am really hoping everything is sanitized in the back just for my mental comfort. They don't sanitize in front of you and that's my biggest issue. The utensils they use are just buried in their pedicure basket... They were sweeping but all it was doing was kicking up the dust and residue on the floors. The atmosphere is nice and they're all really nice people but my manicure was pretty sloppy and I'm upset about the pedicure burn. My toes are super cute though. You get what you pay for- just hope you don't get an additional fungus or infection. read more

Came here with one of my friends the other day to treat us to pedicures. I'm from the Baltimore area and I wish we had nail salons this nice there! The environment was very clean and beautiful. Wasn't noisy at all so it was easy to relax. We were taken care of as soon as we picked our polishes, the nail techs were super friendly and professional. We enjoyed the foot/leg massages. Both of our nail techs were gentle and communicative, always making sure we were both comfortable and enjoying ourselves. My toes look and feel great! Had an appointment, the owner took me back 15 minutes after my appointment time to start the process of getting the s&s off. Which I thought was because Johnny was cashing out his current customer. But no, The owners made Johnny take another customer ahead of me even though I had the appointment and they did not. I have a bad back and was hoping to get in and out. I was there for 2 hours Johnny didn't start with me till 50 minutes after my appointment time. And this wasn't the first time something like this happened. I love this place. Got a basic manicure just to treat myself, and my nail tech (not sure what her name is) did a great job. She asked multiple times if I liked the length and color, and while she offered a longer lasting polish, she didn't push the up charge when I said no. There were many clients there but I was not left waiting very long. The lotion and hot towel felt great, and made the whole experience even more relaxing. This place use to be so amazing. I would get my nails done and the only reason I would have to get them redone is because they would grow out. Three weeks later and they looked perfect except for where they had grown out. I recommended them to everyone. The last three times I have had my nails done, the polish has peeled off within a week on some of the nails. This last time in five days one nail was chipped and others were about to (it was catching on hair and lifting up). I went to the shop and they replaced the polish on the one nail. The polish is so thin on one side it looks like a tint and thick on tip. I showed them the other nail and they ignored me. It was very hard for me to go in there when I felt like they were all talking about me. They were certainly looking at me-I could see that! The next day the other nail chipped and the side has pulled up. I will never go here again. I work too hard for my money and my time is too precious to be wasted like this. With tip it was $44 plus change. Almost $45. That's a lot of money for less than a week! read more

I go to victory a lot and usually don't have any problems, i went maybe a week ago and my gel nails i got are already chipping. i don't know if she was in a hurry and forgot to put an over coat on or just missed a certain spot but not to pleased with how my nails look that i just got done not even a week ago. read more

Poor customer service and I've known tin since I was 15 yrs old n today reminded me of y I stopped coming in. Moves slow. Long story short I walk in only wanting to purchase a lip ring he was just finishing with a customer so I was thinking I was next bc it's a basic transaction but instead he decides to go onto the next person who is getting their nails done and they probably sitting in a chair for the 40 minutes and all I needed would have token 20 seconds. I walked out and I will never come back and they use old acrylic gave me a foot fungus and I've never had no problem with my feet ever in my life. I've been going to this place for probably about five years now. Not only did they do great nails but they also had a great customer experience when I first started going but as their business has grown as I guess with most businesses as they grow and get busy and bigger their customer experience has gone extremely downhill. It's still one of the better places in the area to get your nails done but don't always expect to be treated with kindness or like your time there matters. For now the second time I've gone there to get my nails done they have rushed through my nails to get to the next person and I got to tell you it doesn't feel very great. I pay just as much as everyone else to get my nails done and I tipped really well and every time they do that my nails come out crappy and this time I was left with polish on my skin which I get shellac done on my toes and I had to go home and correct that and my pointer fingers on both hands which was done with shellac also had air bubbles under them from them rushing and they didn't even go underneath my nails to get the excess acrylic and polish and nail out with the drill after your nails are done like most people do because I just wanted to get to the next person so I had to go home and fix that myself as well. The sad part was this was in the morning when they very first open and they were not busy at all it was just the person I had had someone walk and he wanted them to do their nails so they rushed through me to get to them and I had also made an appointment to be there it may have not been with that nail technician specifically but if there was going to be a conflict or an issue then someone else should have taken over or took my appointment so it was very frustrating. And again this is not the first time so if you go there to get your nails done manage your expectations they can do cool designs or whatever and your nails probably will come out OK especially if you're not picky or anything but again the customer experience and whatever has gone downhill significantly since I first started going there. I honestly could go on and on about how bad this last experience was with my nail technician but it's not the point it's that they need to focus on their customer experience and improve that significantly not my one individual experience. I came in for a two o'clock appointment wrong sat there for thirty minutes as the ladies on the other side of me said they had appointments and they have been sitting for 45 minutes with no service. Finally I asked how long with no response sat there for another ten minutes at this point I am almost thirty minutes passed time and he walks back to counter and I asked again and heard only thirty minutes I finally left at that point I was going to be sitting there for well over a hour after I was supposed to be there went get them done elsewhere was able to walk right in with no appointment and done in thirty minutes had I stayed there and waited especially with having a appointment scheduled I would have still be sitting there!!! no apologies nothing that will be my last time of using there services!!! read more

This is the best nail salon in all of Cincinnati I swear. It's a good fifteen minutes from my house and 30 from my work, so I've tried to find other places closer to my work. No one even compares I'm always disappointed when I go somewhere else, and end up coming back here. Everyone does a great job here and are super nice and always get to me within 15 minutes of ariving even if there really busy. It's just a great place and anything I get here from shellac to acrylic, any shape,whatever I want always looks amazing and like I'm ready to do hand or feet modeling. I love this place!!!! I have been coming here for years and all of my associates have as well. I switch between acrylics and shellac and I usually get 2-3 weeks out of my shellac and always more than 3 weeks out of my acrylics! Way more than I've ever gotten anywhere else. U don't even request a specific person anymore bc they are seriously all great. Never had a bad experience and everyone is always professional and friendly. As far as the review about cleanliness- I've personally always seen them Clean out the pedi bowls and the tools are always new straight out of the package. Highly recommend read more
