Victory Inn is a nice, casual spot. High quality barbecue establishments are typically more pricey than the average restaurant, while more affordable barbecue establishments tend to be lackluster. Here, the product is both fairly priced and enjoyable. Orders are taken right by the entrance rather than by a server. There are daily specials, which are referred to as "delights." These are announced at the beginning of each month on Victory Inn's Facebook page. I didn't know what to expect by coming here, but I left knowing I would definitely come back.

Pulled Pork Sandwich, Mac n Mac & Cheese, crispy fries

When you enter Victory Inn order at the counter and they give you a number to put on your table. We were able to order and the food came out quickly. There is currently a lot of construction on Mound Rd so it can be hectic to get in or out of their private parking lot. One could easily see that Victory Inn is a popular lunch spot. I had a pulled pork sandwich, crispy fries and a side of Mac n cheese. The food was delicious. The wait staff made a special effort making us feel welcomed. They made sure my little one had crayons, coloring book and Halloween treats. It put a big smile on his face. So overall, Victory Inn is a good spot for some BBQ. I would recommend this establishment. Yum.

The 3-pc Fish Fry. Cod, Steak Fries, Coleslaw, Tartar Sauce, Ketchup, and Crusty Roll with Butter.

Victory Inn 3-pc Fish Fry Review One of the tastiest Fried Fish meals that I've had; full value plus!  My carry-out was easily good for 2 full meals. The Cod was thick, fresh, and beautifully cooked (big container of Tartar Sauce).  Included were plenty of Steak Fries (big container of Ketchup.) The side was another container filled with Coleslaw (a little too creamy for my tastes. I personally prefer the Vinegar-based style.) To round out the meal, there was a large crusty roll, along with 2 things of butter.) Yep, prices are a little high (like all post-Covid menu items, everywhere.) The difference is that Victory Inn didn't down grade on taste, freshness, quantity, quality, and a fully composed meal.  The satisfaction level is high.

The smokehouse would be open back up the day after we were there for dinner. The staff didn't mention the smokehouse being closed when I called about dining in hours. They were short staffed to run the smokehouse. We came to eat BBQ and had to order grilled food instead. :/ We didn't feel like finding another place this late in the evening so we stayed and orders grilled food. We had to order food that could be cooked on the grill. Two dinner salads, one with fresh blue cheese, the other with Italian, chicken nachos, Turkey Reuben with tator tots. We got a number for the rest of our food to be delivered to our table. You pay for your food at your table with the waitress. The dinner salad was okay, had too much shredded cheese for me, had to take most of it off; since shredded cheese isn't my favorite on a salad. The nachos are just so-so, nice and cheesy at least. . The chicken isn't my favorite on it, it was definitely seasoned. It had both shredded cheese and the nacho cheese on the nachos. The Turkey Reuben would be better with a better and more standard thousand island dressing. They make their own with Mayo, ketchup and relish. Our waitress, Marilyn is nice, the rest of the staff are nice as well.

Huge bar, plenty of tables. Overall a great atmosphere

A local favorite of young and old alike. If you like BBQ, then it's hard to find a better local place than Victory Inn. I like the burnt ends here, and I usually get the brisket as well. The brisket is cut thick and has good flavor, not too dry either. As far as sides go, the Mac and cheese is the most popular but the beans are also good. They have a full bar, a smoking patio and plenty of seating for big groups. It's not too loud, but there are TVs if you want to see the game. Plenty of drink specials, but mostly a beer and BBQ type place. If you are in the area and like BBQ, be sure to check it out.

First time coming here was a Friday night. Very very busy. Walking in you order at the front and then find your seat after. Luckily their was a 2 person table free for us so we did not have to wait. The food smelt so good walking in and everything was clean. The lady knew we looked out of place and helped direct us on what to do. Got a brisket sandwich and you get so much meat with this sandwich it's amazing. Price definitely reflects how good everything is. Will be back.

This isn't slow like - just relax - you're here with friends - it's slow like - is anyone ever going to take our order, bring us a drink or bring us our food? It's pretty irritating to sit at a table with nothing on it and wait for anyone to come by and ask us what we want to drink. Then when we finally did order a drink - (waters, beers, pops & coffees), where are they and where is she? Finally she returns with drinks - disappears again. Everyone is getting mad - we just want to order some food. Once our food order is placed we wait again a lot more. The food came out in shifts - poor kitchen management? I don't know. I ordered the Southwest Eggrolls that sounded delicious, but when they finally showed up they were undercooked and awful. I was finally able to send them back and the waitress promised they'd be cooked some more. In the meantime food was slowly coming out. One of the guests meal literally came after everyone was finally done eating - not kidding. Poor guy sat there and watched all of us eat - he was a saint. Waitress kept promising it was 'almost ready'. My eggrolls came back out - still not good. I just decided not to eat them. No one was happy when we left. This is my second try here, I won't be back. Several others commented that this place is always slow - so I think they won't be back either. They just lost 10 diners.
