We used to visit Malones occasionally as it is nearby. Our main order was their great square pizza though we tried a number of their other offerings. The last two visits, both on Saturday evenings were a big disappointment. The first of these visits ended up with the police coming because of an altercation in the kitchen and a very burnt pizza. We ate it because it was getting very late and just wanted to go home. This latest visit ended with a somewhat burnt pizza and a decision never to go back. I don't know what happened to change everything this year but it sure Isn't the Malones I used to go to. To top it off the draft beer list was disappointing. read more

Stopped by Malone's for their Saturday happy hour (12-6pm), which definitely caught my attention! I had a margarita and the mushroom Swiss burger. The margarita was average, nothing special, and the burger really lacked flavor. I was hoping for more seasoning or something to make it stand out. That said, the service was good and the vibe was chill. I'd consider going back for the happy hour deals, but I probably wouldn't order the same food again. read more

First time visiting Malone's. We had friends from out of town here for a hockey tournament and looking for a place in the Warren area. I had driven by Malone's many times and thought we'd give it a go. We had a group of six and were able to reserve a table calling the day before...that a nice feature as they were crowded when we arrived on a Friday evening. The place was hoping...not great for quiet conversation but a fun atmosphere nevertheless. Cool bar area and they also have a room in the back of the restaurant. Large menu with lots of sandwiches, burgers, salads, and entrees. I had the Sheppard's Pie...it was very good and came with a choice of side. I had a side salad which was fresh and a nice size. Large beer and drink menu. Reasonable prices. Megan was our server and she was great. Other servers would also stop by to see if anyone needed anything; service was efficient without being overbearing. We would definitely return. read more

Happy to report that a birthday luncheon held at Malone's Tavern on 3/21/2026 was a great success. Laura was awesome in helping to arrange details and menu to accommodate 23 guests ranging in ages from 8 to 85 years old. All were happy with pre-selected menu choices. All left with a full tummy and some even departed the sparkly clean facility with leftovers . Food was plentiful and delicious. Had to eat somewhere and wanted a beer. My bill was $45 and it wasnt a great experience. My Philly was ok. Chips broke my tooth! Burger had sat cuz it was entirely bloody and soaked through top and bottom bun especially. So many cooked onions that they just slid off in a sloppy mess. The cheese balls (at $9) were in one giant clump. Totally stuck together and raw dough in the middle. Server was very young called me ma'am 8 times! Annoying! I couldn't wait to leave. Won't go back. Made a reservation for 6 which was easy and ready for us. The food was OK, drinks were ok, but the service was rushed. The waitress never asked us if wanted more drinks. While eating the manager (im assuming) grabbed a menu off our table then sent the waitress over to get the other ones she left after taking our order. Came here to eat and have drinks after an event. There was a total of five of us. It was a Friday night around 9pm so it was pretty busy. There was a couple of noisy drunks. I was pleased with the menu options, particular the salad options. I got the balsamic pesto chicken salad and it was pretty good. My side of tater tots hit the spot. My friends all enjoyed their meals. We got a couple of rounds of shots and drinks. All were made well. The waitress was very friendly, although a bit slow at times. They are open until 11 PM and are open for dining. Nick is waiting on us, he told us he's fairly new. Ordered a chicken nacho, Buffalo chicken salad with the bleu cheese and bacon on the side, a Turkey Reuben sandwich, rye bread grilled or toasted. $43.02. The nachos are made with velveeta cheese, the corn chips are super light and crispy. The chicken is seasoned, chunks, not too bad. Was it worth $11.50, not so much. The Turkey Reuben was okay, wasn't toasted enough. Deli Turkey meat. Slaw is super creamy. The buffalo chicken salad was okay. Chicken was sliced and cooked decently. Salad was mostly iceberg, 2 pieces of spinach in the salad. Did have to ask for a side of dressing, it came dry. Food is okay, service was decent. read more

The service is very poor at this establishment. 2 of us went in for dinner at 7:30. At 8:40, we were still waiting for our food and never saw the waitress again. They were not busy, we had 3 people tell us to wait for our table for 20 minutes, when we just went and sat down on our own. Never again!! read more

Love this place. Keep in mind I'm a mid forties guy. I loved the show cheers and Malones is mimicked off of Sam Malone and the bar from the show Cheers. If you become a regular, they'll know your name and what you like. They also do big party groups and take care of them well. Food wise I wish they had a filet but other than that I don't know if I've ever had a bad meal. Kelly is my favorite bartender who was friendly and knew my name from day one. Typically, one or both of the owners are usually on hand to deal with anything going on. Not sure I can say much more. Great place, people, food and vibe. read more

Nice, cozy, neighborhood restaurant bar. I had a cheeseburger, and it was a generous portion. Very juicy. Only complaint is that the cheese comes under the patty, and isn't much either. The cheese aspect almost disappears throughout the giant burger, and Next time, I would ask to have double cheese, and have the cheese on top of the patty. Also had their wings, and they were by far the best around town. They were pretty fat, meaty wings with a bomb, super crispy coating. It didn't even need sauce! Server was very friendly! read more

I love a great deal - especially when it comes to pizza! That's why I like to head to Malone's Tavern between 5:00 and midnight for their Monday night, half price deep dish pizza special. You get your choice of a 4 slice cheese pizza ($4) or an 8 slice cheese pizza ($6.50). Toppings are extra but also half off so you can load up for just a little more coin. So you're not feeling the Za? No problem my friend as they've got a hefty menu full of warm you up comfort foods. If you ask for recommendations, chances are they'll tell you to start off with a cup of their piping hot and cheesy French Onion Soup. You'll probably hear that you need to check out the Dublin Burger, Reuben, Ribs, Shepherd's Pie or maybe even an order of Bangers and Mash. It's all good warm you up American / Irish-American comfort foods and it's good value for your money. If you're looking for a great neighborhood bar with some delicious food, some pretty good happy hour specials and an alright beer selection (my one big gripe here) this might be your new place. Came here because we were seeing a show nearby and this place seemed the best option. As soon as you enter the workers are extremely welcoming. We got sat right away. The bar is cozy. They had a big drink menu and open bar. There food list had it all. Everything sounded wonderful. The steak was amazing. Seriously the kind of steak you don't need sauce for. This is one of my very favorite spots! I remember when it opened. I have always loved it here. I can't believe I haven't been back since 2014 we we had a reunion here. Anyway, I wanted to come here since we were both in the area and we figured why not have lunch? I love the warm atmosphere. Dark rich wood. Huge tables. A separate area for parties. You can also wat on the patio. It was quite warm so we decided to sit inside. The fragrance of chicken fajitas immediately got my attention when we walked in. So of course that's what I ordered. First time. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage meal. I was surprised they slice the corned beef so thin, like for a sandwich. Pleasantly surprised the red skins were thickly sliced and either pan fried or roasted. Enough cabbage and mini carrots. Not too salty which can sometimes happen with corned beef. I went here for a team lunch, and had a good experience. It's been years since my last visit, and it hasn't really changed much. It's a compact space that still fits a good amount of people. Service is good, and there is a good variety of dishes for lunch and dinner. I got one of the specialty burgers, and it was pretty good, although it needed a bit more seasoning. This place was great! The atmosphere was traditional Irish pub. Menu looked good with some variety. I got the fish and "chips" with tots. Fish was beer battered and tasty. Great service, very clean Bar and good food. I gave this place a B+ overall. Really great attitude from the entire staff and decent food. Order a pizza as well but forgot to take a picture. Covid staffing issues for sure as all of our food came out at separate times but the staff did the best they could and we couldn't complain one bit. I would of asked for my pizza to be cooked well done but that's my preference. Only boneless wings again because of shortage.
