Shout-Out to Kathleen, sneaking across the back, tonight's chanteuse fronting GROOVE COUNCIL
    Roger R.

Great atmosphere, band (Groove Council, yeaaa), drinks, and attention to patrons ability to carry on conversation with music playing. The sound system shows how the owners care about their peeps. Selfishly, I hesitate to let this review out cause if a friend already inside last Saturday hadn't come to the door & said she had saved me a seat, I wouldn't have gotten in... So please ignore this review, don't go & crowd-up my new, live music go-to night spot. Ha!

My wife and I had the fish and chips (cod). The food was very tasty. The French Onion soup was awesome.

Live music is why we came and why we will return. Nice dancing. Food took forever. Actually an hour but that's too long.

I really need to and plan to return to the original location in downtown Detroit. I just feel the chicken wings are more flavorful and my hummer ice cream cocktail is delicious at that location. Service has been good both times here. The waiters are pleasant. The ambiance is decent and it's a small bar with booths and tables. It's not fancy and more of a hole in the wall. The food is hit or miss. The chicken wings can be good and they can also be just ok. The fries were hot, crispy and tasty on this visit. This visit the wings were ok. The steak bites were good. I enjoyed the steak bites more than the signature wings. The steak bites were well seasoned with onions and mushrooms. The mushrooms were canned mushrooms though. Then with the A1 Sauce added it was a good. The drinks are STRONG. I can say this is a great thing. Overall an average visit. I probably will try another location and see if the hype is still there.

I walk in, not very crowded but little groups here and there. I was able to seat myself at one of the high top tables, in which one of the waitresses ask if that's where I wanted to sit and I asked if I was able to at the bar for food and she said yeah so I proceeded to sit there. Sitting for about 20+ mins no water offered no menu given or anything. Then it takes the takeout woman to ask if I'd been serviced and I said no and she does give me a menu....its not her job as she said shes only the takeout person so I was never expecting her to get my order yet no other server or bartenders offers after having the menu for another 20 mins. And again they weren't busy or packed; normally I wouldn't even wait that long but I wasn't in a hurry and was genuinely hungry but At that point I was turned off and no longer wanted to eat there in which the bartender apologized and said she thought I was with another group...-_- I walked in alone and I have blue braids so I find it astonishing she made that assumption so can't comment on the food but service is the first step to any experience and this was terrible.

Pretty solid place for a BYO burger option…read more I like all the options they offer....multiple proteins, buns, toppings and sauces. Everything was well prepared, meat temps were correct, buns were toasted and toppings were plentiful. If anything, you may want to be cautious on the BYO toppings because things can get sloppy if you add too many. We loved our apps as well, boneless wings and pretzels. Will definitely be back

The fall out fries were the move over the regular fries. The serving size was enough for 2 people. The side salad was run-of-the-mill. I ordered a medium rare, 1/2 lb bison burger on a brioche bun with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, and bourbon ketchup. It ending up being rare instead of medium rare, and had fried (crispy) onions instead of caramelized. My wife crafted her own mac and cheese. After confirming the "chicken bites" were fried, she ordered a bowl of mac with those, onions, cheddar, and velveeta. The chicken appeared to be grilled rather than fried, and the mac itself lacked any flavor. Considering the mac was $21, we definitely wouldn't order it again. To say the least, I wasn't surprised to hear World's End closed. Had it not, I would have given it another chance.

The menu includes crafted burgers, even a healthy turkey burger, salmon, and one of the most amazing selections of beer in the area.
