We are really pleased with our Ford Edge purchased at Friendly Ford Lincoln in Monroe…read more Mike Brown, the salesman we work with at FF, was amazing again. A true professional in every way, Mike was quick to respond to all questions, concerns and requests. Not the over-aggressive type of salesman, Mike lets the product do the talking and is eager to help when asked. I'll always go back to Mike Brown when I'm looking for a Ford product because my experiences over the years have been totally positive. James Stasak, another team member at FF, also was extremely helpful in our decision process. James heads up the Pre-Owned Department and did an outstanding job of finding a newer, low-mileage Edge which was exactly what we were looking for. So far we very pleased with the Edge performance.

Also finance person Had to reprint papers 3 times. Then they had wrong registration papers filed. So they had to call another person to come back to the dealership to fix the issues. Then totals were wrong. Numbers didn't match. Also, they put some paint protection and door protection on the vehicle without asking. then put the totals into the deal. Anything to make a buck I guess. By the time the paperwork was reprinted and registration was corrected we had about 15-20 minutes before they closed. Needless to say it was a rush job showing us the workings of vehicle. A couple days later we were putting papers away and making copies for the vehicle and to keep in files. We noticed the trade in amount was changed from what we agreed on. So, the next morning I take off of work and go to the dealership. No General Manager on premise. out for meetings all day. No other management to help me. So I showed the mistake to my salesman and he instantly turned into a complete liar. Told me I was wrong. no way that was the amount for my trade. He said he would go ask the trade in appraisal person. But he wouldn't let me come with him. So you can guess what happened next. He comes back about 10 minutes later with a piece of carbon copy paper and says see this is the trade amount. Not the amount you think it is. I was insistent and told him exactly what I was offered. He said to bad it's not in Writing. basically telling me TO BAD! Friendly Ford is a bunch of liars, cheaters and I will never buy another ford product in my lifetime. I will be sure to post and let everyone know what a bunch of cheats work at friendly ford.

I worked with Bill Mason last week and had a good car buying experience…read more I was looking for a 2015 Audi with low miles, and this dealer had one priced well. When we contacted the dealer initially, we got a response that evening. The dealer is open on Saturdays so I was able to test drive the car that weekend. Bill and the owners were patient with my questions and explained the process to me in a way that was helpful and not condescending. This is important to me as this was my first car buying experience. I was able to call the dealer a handful of times the morning I was buying the car. When I arrived to sign papers and pick up the car, Bill had all the documents ready and went through each one with me. I would definitely work with this dealer again

They refused and said that mechanic did a thorough inspection and service. Front differential, (ring, pinion, bearings), hub, axle shaft bearing, and obviously 4WD all failed less than 3000 miles from purchase due to mud and water inside which they never noticed or serviced. Definitely never serviced vehicle properly in spite of recommended service intervals. EGR Cooler also plugged within same time frame - along with driveline u joints that failed and froze. Needed $7000 in work. Truck was driven hard off road prior to purchase without any service and/or involved in a flood. Even the most basic items like the fuel filters never were serviced. Ford recommends fuel filters be changed every 22k. The fuel filter on frame was dirty and nasty - probably hadn't been changed in a very long time. Definitely not at my purchase. Had to call multiple times to get license plate as they never sent out.... finally received after temp tags expired. Will you trust A1 or their mechanic knowing that he let all this go ? Hope I help someone else from making a very poor buying choice.

Absolutely terrible experience with this dealership. I bought my truck at the beginning of July and…read moreI STILL don't have my plates. The worst part is that the check engine light came on with multiple codes literally as soon as I drove the truck off the lot. I contacted the dealership right away, and I've made multiple trips back trying to get this taken care of. It's a TWO-HOUR drive for me, and I keep wasting my time going back and forth just to get nowhere. Every time I try to contact somebody about the truck, it's nearly impossible to get a straight answer. I get told different things, nobody seems to know what's going on, and at the end of the day the truck still hasn't been fixed. I'm honestly beyond frustrated at this point. I didn't buy a truck from a dealership just to spend my time chasing them around trying to get them to fix problems that showed up immediately after I bought it. I'm now asking them to just send me the parts so I can fix the damn thing myself because apparently that's the only way anything is going to get done. I understand used vehicles can have problems. What I don't understand is completely ignoring the customer after the sale and making them drive four hours round trip multiple times without actually fixing anything. I'm extremely disappointed with how this whole situation has been handled.
