We have a vegetarian eater in my family. Victory Caffe was a heaven-sent go to during the pandemic--we would often doordash from here. They have many delicious vegan options...but they also have great comfort food for non-vegetarians. I love their scrambles and breakfast burritos. Their lunch fare is also great--try the spicy chicken sandwich if you are non-vegetarian. I recently walked in and they remodeled. Their front counter looks so great now! I ordered again via Yelp delivery yesterday, and Victory Caffe hit the mark completely this time. I revisited the Vegan Breakfast Burrito, which I can honestly say is one of the most satisfying breakfast burritos I've ever had, and large enough to split into two separate portions - I enjoyed one half yesterday, and am presently enjoying the other reheated half as I write this review! The turmeric-scrambled tofu has the perfect amount of kick, and the black beans, potatoes, and vegan cheese make this burrito filling. The guacamole and pico de gallo cut the spice a bit, balancing it out! To drink, I enjoyed the hot dolce latte, which was perfect in this SoCal chill, and a little less sweet than I remembered (maybe because it was hot?) I am re-doing my review because the owner, Ephraim (sp?), reminded me that since I've have been a patron for a few years, I probably know more about the place now. My old review was positive, but not nearly as comprehensive as it could be. So here's my updated recommendation: Victory Cafe might just be the best restaurant in the valley, if not the state. The coffee is outstanding. In fact, I've never had a better cup in my life. Plus, it's nuclear. You'll wake up for sure and clean up your garage. Every single item of food is absolutely delicious. My wife and I are Vegan and VC has some of the best Vegan food around. I love the Chorizo sandwich and the Beefish burrito. Amazing. This is also a great place to go with your non-vegan friends. Something for everyone. I think one of the things that makes this place great is the quality of the ingredients. Second is the skill. These guys are magicians in that kitchen. The fresh juice is made there on the spot and it's fantastic. The owner and his family are some of the finest people you'll ever meet. They make you feel welcome and have set that standard for the rest of the staff. Carlos is always there with a great big smile that lights up the room and leaves you feeling great. VC is close to my commercial location and I bring lots of my clients here. Big clients. Ones that you don't take to a place unless it's awesome. VC never lets me down. Everyone loves it. If I had the time and money, I'd probably eat here every day. Oh, and they have vegan cake! Almost no one has that. I get a slice every time. Parking is a little tight, so take a Uber or Lyft if you can. I often park up the street. But nine times out of ten, there's usually a place in the lot. The only reason I even mention it is if you decide to meet a few friends there, you need to consider parking or ride share to insure you have a nice time. They have a well-functioning app that I often use for pickup if I don't have time to sit down and eat. Super easy to use and very customizable. Hands down the most delicious burrito I have had in a very very long time. The ingredients taste extremely fresh, the ratio of ingredients in the burrito made it easy to eat and didn't lack in any category. The vegan meat was delicious and the sauce that comes with it is the perfect level of spice. I got the vegan burrito with feta cheese and it was splendid. It wasn't soggy or messy at all. The presentation was beautiful. And the tortilla stayed crispy the ENTIRE time. I also ordered the Coconut Matcha with SF Vanilla and it was perfectly emulsified and perfectly sweet. Good matcha is rare to find especially when it's iced. Highly recommend this place. I will be back to try everything else in the menu! Our company ordered food from here last week for a team lunch. The food was great! I am a huge supporter of this restaurant and have only good things to say about the food/service based off my experiences here in the past. I just felt I had to post because there was what seemed to be a small piece of wire found in my spicy chicken sandwich, about 1/2 an inch in length. I'm just glad it didn't cause any harm in my mouth as I was chewing just enough to locate it and pull it out of my mouth. This little gem of a cafe is located in a strip tiny mall. Parking is very scarce here, so get here early or park on the street. I met my friend here for takeout, and we both ordered the same burrito. Gio, the owner, is very outgoing and helpful. He really makes you feel like you've stepped into his own home kitchen. I'm sorry but most our food was terrible. The potatoes were sooo dry. The whole plate had absolutely NO FLAVOR . Our waffles were super dry !! I paid 44.00!!!!! That was including tip...I tipped 5.00! The only thing I'd say to get here is the croissant breakfast sandwich. As for the service, the girl at the front was rude and stingy. The restaurant was difficult to find. We passed by it and had to make a round around the block to find it again. Location was not the best and had very limited parking spaces sharing them with gas station. The service was alright. The atmosphere was mediocre at best. No salt or pepper or any other condiments on the table. They were brought to us. Prices were spot on and not too pricey for LA area. Food was delicious and we had generous portions.
