Just ok. Absolutely does not deserve 5 stars. The açaí bowl was straight up frozen and pricier than amazebowls downtown!!! Not horrible food by any means, but the reviews seem somewhat imbalanced. They have great customer service! I went for brunch with a friend and we thought we'd try here for the first time. We both got the house scramble and it was good, presentation was great. The only problem is that staff only comes to tables to give food so it was hard to catch anyone to ask for condiments (such as salt and pepper since the eggs are not seasoned) and it got busy by the time we got our food so I didn't want to have to wait in line for a refill (the line was to the door). Great place but they should probably check on their tables every now and then to make sure people dining in are good. Parking was a struggle very crowded small parking lot and lots of cars parked in spots that aren't parking spots making it hard to get out. read more

Parking wasn't great but you can't blame that on them. My eggs hit the spot made with avocado and spinach. Also got some potato's on the side. Had the chance to try the breakfast buritto, which was also good. I think this place and the food was exceptionally adequate. That may sounds like an insult but it's not. I got an Açaí bowl and my husband got a breakfast burrito. It was all so good that I ended up getting caprese avocado toast to go. My only complaint isn't even on them. The açaí bowl was delicious but I wish it wasn't so frozen. I get it's a frozen thing, but it was really really frozen. It was hard to eat while in the cafe. Once we got home and it thawed a little it was perfect. It was so good I'm ordering for right now. What a gem! This place is so nice and clean. The owners/employees were so sweet and helpful! You can really tell they have passion for what they do. I'm vegan and my boyfriend is not. They had plenty of options for us both! They're going to have more vegan options soon I was told. I got the vegan breakfast burrito without beans and my boyfriend got the croissant egg sandwich. I'm leasing some units around the corner at a new building and hadn't eaten anything all morning and I had some time in between my appointments. I began search on Google maps and decided that I would treat myself and try their breakfast burrito. I pulled into the parking lot easily and went in. I ordered the breakfast burrito (no meat). It was made so quickly , I was a little skeptical lol. When I was handed my bag, I asked if there was some sort of salsa or sauce in the bag. The kind gentleman told me yes it's in there. I took one bite of that burrito and was in heaven!!! That burrito didn't need a sauce because it was perfectly flavorful with the right amount of crisp on the outside and was not dry either. After I gobbled it down, I quickly called the restaurant to tell them about themselves! I told them people are quick to call and complain about things but I wanted to thank them for making my taste buds happy. So when I picked up my order, the cashier saw that that food had been sitting for quite some time. He offered to remake it. How does this place have 5 stars? The breakfast is below average, tasteless, and overpriced. We ordered 2x House Breakfasts, which is scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and potatoes. Sounds easy enough, right? No. The scrambled eggs were runny and had zero seasoning or flavor. I had to cook them and I usually eat soft scrambled eggs. These were simply uncooked. The potatoes were hard... not crispy or overdone... they weren't fully cooked and didn't have flavor. I had to season them and throw them in the air fryer so they could be edible. The toast and chicken sausage were fine. $30+ for uncooked eggs and potatoes? A little nuts. I wouldn't recommend this place. The menu is wonderfully diverse - most classic breakfast options, assorted sandwiches, a pretty strong vegan menu, acai bowls, various coffee and tea drinks, incredilbe baked goods - most baked right there. I've had a caprese sandwich that was solid, a chicken quesadilla that was exceptional - the chicken was juicy and tasty instead of dry - and a vegan BLTA that was fantastic. This unassuming café doesn't appear to be much from the outside, but it's full of warmth and kindness on the inside. It's in a small parking lot off Vanowen St. and we almost missed it! Once inside, you'll be welcomed by the sweet employees and a big menu to order from. I ordered the chicken sausage sandwich with a banana milk, and my boyfriend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich! Geo was an absolute sweetheart and really guided us into the best possible way to order our sandwiches to enhance the flavors. He was fantastic at explaining the menu and what the banana milk drink consisted of. He was kind enough to upgrade our drinks from a small to a large, which we really appreciated. Now, for the most important part: the food. Both of the sandwiches were amazing in their own way, but the spicy sandwich took the cake. It was so cheesy and the spicy mayo melted perfectly into the cheese and sandwich. Per Geo's recommendation, we got it on sourdough versus ciabatta and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken sausage sandwich blew me away, especially at how ridiculously soft the ciabatta bread was. This place has five stars on Yelp for a reason!
