What a cute and wonderful place!! We passed through Springfield Mi twice! The first time we left…read morebefore it opened (9 am) but made sure the second time we passed through we got some food to go!! I got the quiche- Rosemary and Goat Cheese with a side of tomato soup. My husband got an egg sandwich and fruit. This was one of the best quiches I have tasted and I am a wonderful quiche maker!! Perfect blend of flavors in a round individual quiche! The soup was delicious on this rainy morning! My husband ate half his sandwich immediately and then saved the rest at lunch time. He was pleasantly surprised that hours later the bread was nice and soft! We goy a slice of blueberry pie to share later after lunch! It was the perfect blend of sweet/tart and the crust was flavorful too! I would recommend Tea Bar and Bites!

Ask where I could sit? And was directed to a tiny table and wobbly chair!! I understand if you have a big group coming "eventually" it's honestly a small place if it's that big of a group then close it down! Don't expect patrons to cater around you so you can make more money. Just because I wasn't spending hundreds doesn't mean you can treat me like a beggar... I think it was actually the owner too that was acting like people had to go to her establishment. Attitudes like this hurt local businesses.

Peanut butter cookies have a true peanut butter taste. Chocolate chip cookies have that certain perfect taste to them. Beth's Bake Shoppe was such a cute surprise! It's tucked into a pretty unassuming strip mall, so I…read morehad no idea it was going to be as adorable as it was inside. It seems to be part bakery where you can order beautiful wedding and special occasion cakes, part tea room where you can sit down for lunch, and then there's an entire area that gave me Hallmark gift shop vibes. I didn't get a chance to explore that section, but it looked super cute. Chrissy was my server, and I think there may have only been one other server working during the lunch rush, but she was turning and burning and doing a wonderful job. I ordered the crab Rangoon soup of the day and a chicken salad sandwich with extra onions, plain kettle chips, and their mango unsweetened tea. That tea was DELICIOUS, and I don't even like tea! The chicken salad sandwich on the croissant was delicious too, and honestly I was being greedy because I wanted to try even more stuff. They also brought out the cutest little complimentary sweet that reminded me of an Italian wedding cake cookie without the actual cookie part, almost like a little bite of icing, and it was delicious. The crab Rangoon soup was probably the only thing that didn't quite hit the mark for me. I finished it and it was perfectly fine, but I don't know why I didn't realize "crab" in crab Rangoon soup in Springfield, Missouri was probably going to mean imitation crab. I was also expecting a creamier broth with more of that sweet-savory, cream cheese and chive flavor I associate with crab Rangoon. This was a thinner creamy broth and tasted more like an imitation crab chowder to me. I'd give the soup itself about 3.5/5 because it was actually a pretty good imitation crab chowder, it just didn't taste like crab Rangoon to me. Before I left, I grabbed an ooey gooey butter pecan cookie and a chocolate chip cookie to go because there was absolutely no way I was walking past that bakery case twice and leaving empty-handed. Overall, such a charming little find and exactly the kind of locally owned lunch spot I love stumbling across when I'm traveling for work. I'd definitely come back!
