Craving some Latin pastries... Vicky Bakery will not disappoint! My Gentleman friend sent me some Vicky Bakery pastries to my workplace. Hit the spot having some comforting munchies- crochettas"s and pastries that were delivered by Uber eats! I do share of course... every can enjoy the yummy treats! ( besides I can't steal all the calories for myself...lol) In the past I've tried their cafe con leche and let's just it was on point! ( I like my coffee sweet... so it was just perfect) They have different pastries, tostadas, cafesito, breakfast options, a sandwich selection, shakes, (batidos) small & family size deserts, special occasion cakes, Cuban bread, some Spanish dish options. Great for party catering that won't break the budget! I actually can't wait to visit the new Location that recently opened in Key Largo! While the Miami Lakes location is a bit small. It has a few tables. But the clients normally pick up and go! But I Heard the Key Largo location has a pretty good vibe with Latin music and spacious sitting area.

I order via uber eats The eggs were undercooked instead of over-hard, and the fries were greasy and not fully cooked. The packaging was also improper, with warm pastries mixed with a cold dessert. I contacted the bakery, but they refused to remake the order or provide any credit.

Do you want a tasty pastry? Are you looking to satisfy the sweet tooth? Then this is your spot. I will drive the 25 minutes whenever possible just to come here and get my guava pastelitos .

Stopped by this Vicky Bakery last Saturday after my annual eye doctor appointment. Found in a shopping center, parking is ample but difficult to find during prime hours. Given that we were there around 10 AM, yep - that qualifies as prime hours for a bakery. Standard bakery with plenty of sweets and a ticketing system. Staff is welcoming and ordering is a breeze. I do have to say, however, that given others of this chain, options are limited. They don't have oven-baked empanadas except for cheese ones. That was my understanding anyway. Apparently, one lady had no idea what I was talking about and another did and said that this particular Vicky Bakery tends to fry empanadas. At any rate, my fried empanadas were tasty. Ditto with the croqueta and the café con leche. Food is no problem, staff isn't either, but the lack of options and the cramped feeling I had at this location is, hence why this Vicky Bakery gets three stars from me.

While other Vicky Bakery locations have topped on review rating, this actual location lacked in excellence. Totally disappointed! From the parking to the food quality. This Vicky Bakery is actually in a good area, right in between Miami Lakes and Hialeah. Upon arrival, parking was a total chaos. Several other businesses are in the same plaza so parking gets hectic. It took my wife and I sometime to find a parking spot. At any event, we entered the place, we grabbed a number and had several people waiting. It looks overcrowded since the place its narrow. The lady that attended us was somewhat nice, but I sensed she had a bit of frustration on her which I could understand. We ordered beef pastelitos, guava pastelitos, which tasted not fresh at all. I ordered a natural squeezed orange juice, and it taste like water. Wife ordered a pan con bistec, but for the first time ever, she didn't finished it, she told me it tasted not fresh. And i ordered a media noche, which also tasted not good, low quality ham and cheese. The only good item was the pan cubano. This location needs to step up. Its very likely I will not return to this location again.

At 2:30 we came to this place and an old lady looks like they don't want to work cause she said they're was no Iced Coffee, no Grilled steak sandwich and no Media Noche sandwich, she said it tooks a lot of time to make it. We only got a Torreja ‍ I think the customer is important for any business so they should be more polite and take the orders cause we wait a lot.

The best Cuban pasties I've ever had! I've tasted many from different bakeries over the years but none come close to these right here. I love how sweetly consistent their glaze is saturated throughout their pastelitos and how soft they are with a little carmalized crunch that melts in your mouth. The meat, cheese and guava pastries are all incredible but I love the cheese and meat pastelitos the best. Their ham croquettes and beef empanadas are also terrific. I love this bakery!

The owners should really hire more employees as a 45 min wait is not acceptable. Next time I will go to Baby Bakery.

Once again, we would like to express our most sincere gratitude to Mayor's Cafe of Miami Lakes…read more Today, we proudly picked up a $500 donation check, representing 20% of the proceeds from our fundraiser held this past Friday, September 11th. Our gratitude is genuine, and the impact this support has on our local autism community is even greater. This was much more than a fundraiser. It was a beautiful social experience for our families and our children. It was an evening where one of our wonderful sponsors worked hand-in-hand with us to create a welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Our families came together knowing they could relax, enjoy wonderful food, and simply spend time with people who understand one another. The waitstaff and kitchen team were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, always doing their best to accommodate our children and families. There was laughter, conversation, friendship, and of course, delicious food! From the amazing cheeseburgers to the enormous chicken sandwiches, everything was absolutely delicious! For many of our families, daily life can sometimes be challenging and stressful. Having the opportunity to sit together, enjoy dinner, laugh, talk, and feel completely accepted in an inclusive environment is truly priceless. To all the owners and employees of Mayor's Cafe, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You left such a positive impression on our families, and we truly hope we can do this again next year! And there is even more to be thankful for! In addition to the $500 donation, which will be used toward one of our Hope for Autism Community Group's free activities for our families, Mayor's Cafe is also generously donating $200 in gift cards in support of our Hope for Autism "A Night in Paris" 19th Annual Gala. Your generosity, kindness, and commitment to our autism community mean more than words can express. THANK YOU, Mayor's Cafe, for opening your doors and your hearts to our families. May you all be blessed abundantly! With love and gratitude, Hope for Autism Community Group

TLDR: Nice but dated…read more Was here on a business trip and the area around the hotel and the lobby looked the part of a high end hotel.....that ended when I got to the room, well once I walked the country mile to get to the room....well it was cold as a meat locker in there and I'm good with that (ac runs good and that familiar humming that's perfect for sleep) Kind of a hardwood floor (prefer carpet) and very early 2000 flat screen tv and small. Dated lock on the patio door and barebones chairs on the balcony but not that big of a deal. Now to the bathroom and this place is straight out of 1994....peach tile walls, podium sink and chair height toilet at least but the tub shower is actually like a inch higher then normal tubs so definitely got to take a big step getting in... Now to check the water....hot water took almost 5 PLUS mins to START to warm up for bathroom sink and outside sink....turns on hot water for the shower and it's starts to get warm in 2-3 mins but definitely worried that I'm gonna have to take lukewarm showers all week. So I go to the hotel resturant thinking this was former Shula hotel and I sorta remember Shula steakhouse so I thought that's what I would be getting....nope. Decent egg rolls appetizer but steak was Texas Roadhouse ish(cooked properly but very little seasoning or flavor) I did ask the front desk clerk if the hot water is slow and he agreed then I made my way to another zip code back to the room as there is only two elevators and wouldn't you know it that the elevator closest to my room broke down for a day so I took the stairs. At least it was quiet throughout the week but I think that's just from not too many people staying on that side of the hotel. So I think this place is still riding on the nostalgia on yesteryear but a standard Holiday Inn is light years ahead of this place.
