We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

She started us with wine and cocktail then moving onto starters and entrees, checking on our table ensuring that all was good and everybody was happy. The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. No complaints from anyone at our table and the portions were perfect. Megan then brought a display of today's Dolce which all looked amazing, we ordered a variety and sampled them all. Unique little tasty bites that were just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Seasons 52 offers a great wine list and cocktails as well as beers. FOOD Overall good food, if a little odd. The baked gnocchi and cherry tomatoes in a pesto sauce turned out to be a lot soupier than I expected. My son's pork was well-received. The house-specialty flatbread we had for the table was good. Desserts are served in, effectively, shot glasses. I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. NET-NET We've eaten here before, with similar noise and crowd issues (the holidays are especially challenging). I wouldn't object to be invited by someone to dine here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make reservations here myself.

I had a mixed experience here. The food was exceptional, but the service left much to be desired. Let's start with the positive: the eggplant parmesan. This was my first time trying it, and I am now a fan. The dish was flavorful, with a perfect balance of textures and a rich, satisfying taste. Additionally, we ordered the pollo arrosto pizza, which was quite delicious as well. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were fresh and well-seasoned. The culinary experience alone would make this restaurant worth visiting. However, the service significantly detracted from my overall experience. From the moment our waitress approached our table, I felt uncomfortable. When I politely asked for more time to decide on our order, she walked away without a word and with an attitude that made me feel as if I had inconvenienced her. This initial interaction set a negative tone for the rest of the meal. Throughout the evening, the waitress's behavior was unprofessional. She seemed to direct her attention primarily towards my friend, barely acknowledging my presence, which made the situation quite awkward. At one point, she even started speaking negatively about the table she had waited on behind us, which was entirely inappropriate. While the food here is undeniably good, the service needs improvement. I believe that dining out is not just about the food but the entire experience, and unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the excellent cuisine. read more

I have passed this place many times and have wondered how it is. I went with a friend and we split the Vesuvius pizza and I had a side salad. First off, I wish the waiter would have told me what the difference of size the side salad and entree salad was because it's a bit ridiculous for the side. For about $5 you literally get a tiny plate of three bites, definitely not worth it at all. For $3 more we could have gotten the entree size and split it. The greens were kind of soggy and not crispy at all. The pizza was okay, the dough and crust were like an artisan pizza crust which was nice and chewy. The flavor of the pizza was good however I was not a fan of the tomato pizza sauce so maybe next time will try their other bases. The pizza was a decent size that would be able to feed two adults. read more

It could have been the Carpaccio & Polenta that gave us high expectations. This appetizer blew our minds and we even considered it as one of the best dishes we've ever had. The thinly sliced filet mignon was tender, light, melt-in-your mouth divine. And the marriage of all the other ingredients arugula, crispy capers, polenta, parmesan cheese, aioli and white truffle oil was so balanced with great flavors, seemed liked we were headed towards a happily-ever-after. Unfortunately the Chilean Seabass dish was too salty, it was difficult to enjoy the Seabass. The pasta and tomatoes didn't quite hit the mark in flavor and texture for this dish. The Tortellini alla Parmigiana had an excellent Gorgonzola cream sauce though the mozzarella, burrata and parmesan cheese stuffing took away from the pasta and sauce. The texture was thick chewy cheese that tasted mainly of mozzarella. The tiramisu was beyond delicious with layers of soaked lady fingers and mascarpone so lightly and well-put together, each bite I just melted into bliss. For the crème brûlée, it was really runny, the sugar didn't carmalize as much and overall there was just too much custard. So they had some dishes that were really wow and some that were just meh. Servers were excellent, host wasn't so friendly.
