Food /drink were decent but pricey for a suburb Giving this place 2 stars only because food and drink were decent. But waitstaff brought this place down to like 1 star. Our waitress was abrupt and never refilled our waters. Our table was going to order more food and drinks but the service was so bad and some of the dishes (appetizer plates) were dirty, we opted to pay and leave. Also, it was tedious to get our separate checks even though we stated we would like separate checks for our table. Their handheld kiosk made it uncomfortable to pay and tip discreetly with the waitstaff on top of us read more

In Denver for business. Passing through and stopped for dinner at Via Baci. Two stars for outdoor ambiance, heaters, extensive wine list. Wonderful evening to sit outside Stars lost for service and food. Order took extensively long time. We actually almost left. Both my husband's and my grilled selections were overcooked. Mediocre flavor profile and seasonings. Meh. Server was very nice and knowledgeable but never came back to check on us. I needed water here at high altitude. read more

The new management team is rude and unprofessional. I would suggest ordering takeout and avoid dining in.

Manager opened the door for us when he saw us coming in, actually ran from behind the bar to do it. Stellar customer service! We really wanted to see what the locals suggested and I'm so glad we had the waitress that we did. Kudos to our amazing waitress Christie, great bartender made a fantastic mojito and Christie made great wine suggestions and food suggestions. We started with the hummus which was very well made, and then had the Spinach and Ricotta pinwheels which had zucchini and garlic. These were SO good, but very rich. Glad that we shared this appetizer and only had one each because they are larger and rich. I am so glad I had the Pumpkin ravioli, it had toasted pistachios scallions and slivered almonds. This dish was seriously amazing, I wish I could order it again because the flavors were just phenomenal. My firned had the Braised beef with goat cheese polenta in burgundy sauce. She said it was one of the best sauces ever, beef was tender and paired awesome with polenta way better than potatoes and that's from a meat and potatoes girl!! Wish I lived in Denver so I could come back because the incredible staff combined with the good food makes it a must-visit. read more

Listen, Via Baci is a small place by a Target, but you should go here. It looks commercial on the outside but it is a legit Italian little place inside. The pumpkin ravioli is was too good. I have had it twice. The fresh mozzerella is fantastic. THe yelp check in for a free app or dessert is ridiculous. The salmon is fresh and delish. The fig bruchetta appetizer is great too. So overall, I couldn't find anything to complain about. This is in Lone Tree off the 25. Just come here. 5 miles from DTC hotels. Soo great. Oh, the pizza is great too! Fresh dough cooked in a giant fire oven. Mmmmmm read more

We enjoyed a good meal on Via Baci's pleasant patio recently. I was torn between a 3 and 4 star rating and decided to round up...surviving, let alone thriving, with COVID hasn't been the easiest for restaurants and I suspect Via Baci feels the same pressures. The patio is quite nice and was full on a Friday evening. It could have easily used 2 waitstaff yet appeared to have only 1 plus the host who was helping out. We ordered drinks - 1 came and was eventually followed by the other. And we enjoyed the evening...but we also would have enjoyed our pending salads. It took some time and upon arrival, one was right and one was not - we graciously accepted anyway and both salads were tasty (although on much too small of plate! Taking a bite often caused lettuce to fall from the plate!). Dinner followed - a delicious lasagna, piping hot and surrounded by sauce - enjoyed immensely by the one who ordered. The spaghetti with meatballs - it was lacking. Presentation was fine with a mound of spaghetti topped with brightly colored red sauce. The meatballs were quite small - the 2 present had to be confirmed to be meatballs rather than tomato pieces. And the dish certainly needed more sauce to coat the overly firm spaghetti. Nevertheless, an extra side of sauce and some Parmesan made the dish good, just not great. Service was friendly yet slow and we chose not to take dessert this evening. All in all, a good experience but better when I've eaten here in the past (have enjoyed pizza for sure and the grilled salmon). Thankful to have nice patios to dine on! read more

So after eating at Cranellis (which everyone told me was the best Italian in the area) I had given up on dining out for Italian near the house. I tell the story of my Cranellis issues to someone at the office and they ask if I've tried Via Baci. I tell him I haven't and he says - go, I'll buy if you don't love it. That's a hard offer to pass up. So wife and I go. Split the burrata app to start. Each have a glass of wine. For entrees, she does carbonara and I do the chicken parm. Under a $100 with tip. Burrata is excellent. Seasoned, flavorful, nice compliments and a good sized portion. Carbonara was really tasty. Properly cooked egg, seasoned, and accompanying bread was well grilled. Parm was equally good but not traditional. Sauce was more chopped tomatoes than crushed. But it was tasty - very tasty - and came with two nice size pieces of chicken. We didn't have a desert, because I was just too full. What we saw pass us looked good though. Spoiler - I did not ask my colleague for anything beside another recommendation. Please try this place - good service, well-seasoned food, and higher quality ingredients. Five stars. read more

Via Baci is unlike anything else. It reminds me of home, and every time I visit, it's a must have, go to spot. I've been going here with my family since it's opening and I can proudly say that I will continue going as long as it's there! My favorite dish is the pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza is consistently the best pizza you can find in lone tree. El Presidente from barstool sports should come to Colorado to review this pizza, it would be a 9.9. I hadn't been here since January when my husband got a soggy pizza. The pizza chefs have improved on their cooking methods and the Enzo pizza crust was perfect!!! I came for my annual free Veteran's Day entree and beverage from Concepts Restaurants. I showed my DD214 to the server and she acknowledged the free meal. I will be back. read more

Via Baci Chopped Salad and a Pizza. Maybe wine, beer or cocktail too! We've been visiting VB for many years, and it never disappoints! While service has been variable - there's a server we don't click with, the food and drink is top notch. VB can be very busy, with a wait, so carryout is also a great option. We've also participated in a cooking class once, and have a Mediterranean Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta dish that's a regular part of our meals. read more

Three of us enjoyed lunch before a show at the nearby Lone Tree Arts Center. We each loved our meals: salmon salad, pizza, and ravioli. The mimosas were also not shabby. My friend said to take away .25 stars for acoustics. It was a bit hard to hear. read more

Food is oretty food and portion sizes are good. Had the salmon salad and vesuvius pizza. Delicious.

Best chopped and Caesar salads. We absolutely love the pizza and the foods just great. Take out salad is a bit pricey for the size in a small box @25.00. Everything else seems to be in line. read more

Went here for a business lunch today. Overall the food was just sorta bland and not overly flavorful.I got the roasted eggplant and red pepper panini which was just sorta bland overall. Served with 4 spoons of pasta salad which was overly salty. The pizza ordered by a friend looked more appetizing so kinda wish I ordered that instead lol. Overall vibe of the place seemed like a bunch of business prople who worked locally - quite and clean place. read more

I like all kinds of pizza - NY, Chicago, Gourmet, etc. But Napoletana pizzas are the absolute best. I've been to NYC three times to sample many coal-fired and wood-fired Napoletana pizzas. I found most of them at this website: http://slice.seriouseats.com/ After New York, Anthony's and Virgilio's don't quite cut it. They are good, but I was left craving authentic DOC pies. My wife and daughter have been to Italy, and now they are left wanting. However - We found Via Baci and now we're saved! Go there, order the Margherita Classico for $7.99. Savor the crust (flour imported from Italy), the sauce (San Marzano tomatoes from Italy), and the homemade mozzarella (appropriately portioned), and you'll know what the pies are like in Italy. They are light, delicious, masterpieces. Via Baci makes the best pie in Denver. The prices are good, the service is great. read more

How does one F@#& up spaghetti? I have no idea, but Via Baci found a way. I checked in... it was my first time at this place and I was dying for some decent Italian carbs. I was immediately greeted and taken to a table. I hadn't even sat down before the server was asking me what I wanted to drink. I chose water. She quickly returned with water and then I sat for about 5 minutes before she even offered me a menu. When I got the menu, reviewed it and it took the server about 5-10 minutes to circle back around to actually take my order. I ordered the messed up spaghetti...which apparently, is watered down, cheap canned sauce served with a small portion of spaghetti noodles. I asked for chicken instead of the meatballs. No petite breadstick or mini salad to munch on while I wasted my lunch break waiting for my meal. I kept wondering "why are they so slow and 'meh' about serving me? Am I not polite and friendly? Why don't they care?!" They offered no petite breadstick or mini salad to munch on while I wasted my lunch break waiting for my meal to make its way what was just a few short steps from the kitchen to my table. The chicken fillet for my spaghetti was a very, very small fillet cut into 5 even smaller pieces - for $3.99. I honestly wish I had taken a picture of it, but I'm sure I could go back tomorrow and receive the same quality meal, whereby, I could then take a picture. What was I paying $4 for??? They didn't offer any freshly grated cheese or anything... It was a very pathetic meal. The restaurant was not busy at all and the servers were kind of MIA. Then I saw my server sit down with guests and talk to them...all the while, I'm over in my corner eating a really sad spaghetti lunch with "weak sauce". The server never once circled back around to ask me if everything was ok or if I needed anything else because if she had, I would have assured her that everything was NOT ok haha. The server came to re-fill my water and she was extremely quick about it then disappeared again all over again. The manager was present and didn't seem to care that I wasn't receiving service or even be paying attention, for that matter. Until.... .... I realized the establishment offered a complimentary app or dessert when I check in on Yelp. So when the server brought my bill over (that's when I noticed the 5 feeble pieces of chicken were costing me $4.00), I ordered a dessert. In what seemed like an eternity later, the manager rushed it over to me himself and seemed to be ALL about customer service. I get great service when I go to other local establishments in the same city block. To think I chose this place over Carmines LOL.... (Carmines, I'll be dining with you from now on when I want Italian.) *free wifi, but they require your email address....yeah- no. read more

Via Baci - $3.99 for 5 tiny, barely bite sized pieces of chicken cut from a very small chicken breast. Incredible. :/ Very slow service as well. - Italian Near Me - Lone Tree, Colorado

So we went based on the reviews on here. Subpar at best. First impression as I sat down, stuck my hand in oil and dried tomato on the booth seat. They proceed to clean it off, leave the seat soaking wet, then watch me dry it off. We ordered caprese salad and caesar salad, cheese bread, lasagna, bolognaise, and pumpkin ravioli. Both salads were ok, but the balsamic vinaigrette tasted like just vinegar. The pumpkin ravioli was pretty tasty! The lasagna was average, a bit cheesy for my taste. The bolognaise was nothing like any bolognaise I've had and not in a good way. It was super watery, tart and had a kick to it. And the best part was seeing how overpriced it was. Do not plan on going back. read more

I visited the restaurant on three separate occasions. Although the restaurant was at capacity during each visit, I was extremely disappointed with my overcooked meals. Despite my meal preparation disappointment, the waitstaff was professional, and the restaurant was clean. read more

From the outside, I wasn't sure what to expect from Via Baci. It totally exceeded what expectations I did have though! I had the chicken marsala, which was a beautifully cooked chicken served over pasta with a delicious marsala sauce and TONS of mushrooms. Really loved the side of bread as well! I also had a taste of the pepperoni pizza and that was delicious too. read more

First time eating here. Got the Enzo Pizza and it was delicious. Crust was nice and crispy. Sauce is thin but tasty and doesn't over power. Cheese is made daily and added like traditional Italian pizza. The meat toppings tasted great and fresh. We had the s'mores desert and it was great too. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Great spot to pick up some Italian style pizza! Ordered during busy hour and pick up time was quick. Funghi and Margarita was our favorite.

So... we have been coming to Via Baci since it opened. Has always been great. We were mostly in love with the place because of the people and it has great pizza. All I can say now is the pizza is still very good (order extra crispy) but the Vibe of the restaurant and people that work there is so negative you feel like you are in their way for being there. There are still a couple of friendly people but it seems to be coming from the 2 managers that are so unfriendly and have no customer service skills or personality in general and only complain about their new competitors who have an amazingly positive front of house and great staff. Please do not ruin this place because you have a chip on your shoulder...be a business and rise to the level of your competitors or even better be better than them! Also by the way when you have guests at the bar we can hear everything you say read more

Solid place. Definitely has a cozy neighborhood feel about it. I've been to this this place 3 times in 3 weeks. Via Baci specializes in Neapolitan style pizza baked in a wood-fired stone oven. As soon as you walk in the smell of fresh bakes pizza hits you. The happy hour menu is awesome. The sparkling limonata is dangerous. It's so refreshing and would be perfect for the summer. The happy hot drinks are huge and def pack a punch. The spinach artichoke dip with baci bread is some of the best I've had. I think the difference is in their bread, fresh-baked and perfectly chewy. Their pizza is no joke. The oven makes a huge difference and you could taste the fire in the crust. They top their pizza with their house-made mozzarella, which is super milky and slightly sweet. If you work in the Lone Tree area, you've got to check this place out! read more

Basic Italian pizza restaurant with a Nice selection of dishes. I had the chicken parmigiana which was good. The chicken was a bit over cooked but the sauce is really good although a bit on the salty side. I really like the pizza type bread they add on the side. Pizza and salad is super good. Fresh Caesar salad. And cheese pizza. Crust is so good. Highly recommend

Christine and Jeff were patient and kind, and didn't show frustration with my umpteen questions about table and order and food and gift and cake and all other things under the sun. They were very, very polite! It began with an intention to surprise my sister and her husband on their anniversary, and I looked up Yelp for solutions. The folks at Via Baci were the ones to respond promptly and so I went with this business. They helped with reservations long distance, helped process the payment, offered to call my family and surprise them. I was told that the food was great, the service was excellent. I gathered that the menu options suited my sister (vegetarian). Just for this alone, I would recommend this business.... for their ability to help you plan a surprise event for your family. Had a fantastic meal... I was in town for work and resisted the urge to be lazy and eat at the hotel restaurant. So glad I made the short trip to Via Baci. Ordered the Burrata app... portion was large, had fantastic flavor and I could tell the Burrata was house-made and not picked out of a tub from BelGioiosio. (Not that's bad... I enjoy making it at home... but appreciate the effort to make their own) I then moved on to the wood-roasted salmon... it was wonderfully plated, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I will definitely be back on future work trips to try some more options. And a special thanks to Rita... I have some slight dietary restrictions... she handled them beautifully. Thank you! read more
