I had plans to go and see the movie, The Bone Temple, but I was craving pizza, so I stopped by Via313 to enjoy The Detroiter instead. The ambiance was very chill - comfy, given it was a cold evening. Absolutely delicious and I love the service every time!

What a cute place. Spacious and clean. Staff friendly and willing to offer recommendations. The food super good. Detroit style pizza is a must try. Crust phenomenal, sauce zesty, and cheeses cheesing. Go check them out you all. They have happy hour and our reasonably priced.

We came to the grand opening of this location over the weekend. Coming from Austin, we figured it was going to be packed, but it wasn't. We were greeted by a couple of people doing giveaways and won ourselves a cheese bread and ice cream for the next visit. The place is beautiful. It was large and spacious. The staff were super attentive, friendly, and enthusiastic. We ordered the beet salad (beets, arugula, gorgonzola, candied pecans, apples, and lemon vinaigrette), the cauliflower and broccoli, the Detroiter (smoked pepperoni under cheese and topped with natural casing pepperoni), and the Cadillac (prosciutto, gorgonzola, Parmesan, fig preserves, balsamic glaze). The beet salad was amazing. The beets and pecans were the perfect compliment to the peppery arugula. It's a wonderful salad! The broccoli and cauliflower and simply roasted and a light delicious treat! The pizzas were perfect. Pillowy soft with a crispy bottom and loaded with fresh flavors. I'm so happy to have a location close by!

Very happy that via 313 opened up another location, we've come twice already once during dinner and once during lunch. Dinner was great and everything was so tasty! Not totally sold on the 'specialty' pizza they have, it tasted different. I'll absolutely try it out again but was not totally satisfied. The dessert cookie dish was also ok, it had a weird aftertaste.. not sure what happened there. But service has been amazing during both times! I will say if you're looking for a nice and quick lunch pizza this place is where you want to go, we timed it and we got our food within 6 minutes of ordering. Plus the lunch portion is perfect in my opinion. Drinks are SO GOOD. Highly recommend trying them out for that.

I did an order for pick up so I didn't get the full experience however it was a very cute place inside. I would definitely eat from here again! The pizza was very good and my only suggestion would be to have a little bit more cheese on my pizza. The young lady that rang me up with very sweet!

Very unfortunate that this restaurant donates to an organization that "educates and affirms" kids as young as 6 in regards to their sexuality. I do not care who you are or your beliefs, this is disgusting and the definition of grooming. Generally the staff was fine, but easily bothered. One pizza was great, the other was wet and disgusting. I will never return, this is egregious and beyond belief. Not to be that yelper, but I have informed family and friends. You guys should be better.

My wife has never had Detroit style pizza so I brought her to Via 313 as I had gotten food from their Wurzbach location before. She liked it more then she expected. The crust was light and the pizza was delicious. We ordered the small Detroiter pizza, my wife had an Old Fashion ro drink and I ordered the Ginger Ale as This is the only place I know that has Vernor's Ginger AlAle and favorite of my as I grew up in Lansing and Detroit.

I have been a Via 313 fan since the days at the food truck in Austin and I can only say the food has gotten better! Still tons of veggie & vegan options, both alcoholic and NA options on the full bar, and a great service team & atmosphere. The cheesy bread was great. The stooges pie took the cake for me as the clear winner. It was flavorful, had an amazing bar style crust, every bit was full of toppings. Definitely try a pink pony club for your drink, any time of day. Delicious! Can't wait to come back for more.

Honestly the BEST pizza i've ever had in my life. I have never tried Detroit style pizza but now that I have I won't have my pizza any other way! This was my first time trying it and was definitely not disappointed! The staff was literally so nice and gave us commentary cinnamon sticks! I'm obsessed!!!

Zero starts if I could, not worth the crazy prices. Definitely overpriced. Sauce isn't tasty and the cheese is disappointing

I was in San Antonio for a work conference and somehow ended up at Dough two nights in a row…read more Honestly, after the first meal there was no way I wasn't coming back. The first night I was greeted by a friendly host and sat at the bar, where Billy took great care of me. He recommended the Cotto e Salsiccia, and I'm so glad he did. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had. While I was there, the cheesemaker let me try a bite of the fresh mozzarella they were making in-house. It was still warm and absolutely delicious. The next night I was feeling a little homesick after being away for work, and all I could think about was that pizza. I walked back in and the host greeted me by name. I sat at the bar again, where another bartender remembered me from the night before, and Billy came over just to say hi. It seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling alone, being welcomed back like that can completely change your evening. What really impressed me was seeing that it wasn't just me. The guy next to me ordered two pizzas to go, and when the chef brought them out he smiled and said, "Oh, Jose! I thought this order looked familiar!" You can tell they actually know their regulars and genuinely enjoy what they do. The second night I ordered the Fontina e Salsiccia, and somehow it was just as good as the first pizza. Everything is cooked in the wood-fired oven--even the wings--and you can taste the difference. The crust has that perfect char, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of authentic Neapolitan pizza that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants while traveling, but very few have made me feel as welcome as Dough did. Great food is one thing. Great people are what made me come back the very next day. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

When I asked why they have a hot plate shelf next to the entrance and that I burned my arm on it, the manager and greeter state? There is a sign! They took no responsibility for the ill placement of the sign! As you walk in, we saw several People back into the shelf to allow others to get buy! I can see a child burning their hand terribly on this! What did the restaurant do? Nothing... several times we suggested something be done and not until the manager realized that yes, this is a problem did he do something remotely responsible. I couldn't enjoy the food! I was upset? Hurting and taken back by the terrible way they handled the situation. For reference, I'll show you the picture with the barrier.

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.
