We ordered the bar-style pizza, Caesar salad, an espresso martini, and a strawberry margarita. Unfortunately, we didn't try their Detroit-style pizza, which they're known for, since we were going out afterward and wanted something a little lighter. I really enjoyed the thin, crispy crust on the bar-style pizza, but it was a bit difficult to bite through at times and could have used a little more sauce. The Caesar salad was well dressed not too much, not too little but nothing particularly memorable. That said, both cocktails were delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Went again with my sons who were visiting from out of town! Another hit! 10/10 pizza! They loved it too. They were surprised at the prices being high when they ordered but when the pizza came out they were stuffed by the end! (I think they got their moneys worth!) Legit the best GF crust I have ever had for Detroit Style pizza, and I've had a bunch of them! So light and airy and I don't feel heavy or too full after eating it. I enjoyed every single bite and cannot believe I've been sleeping on going here for this long. I can see why their pizza has won national awards! I got the pizza with prosciutto and it was perfectly salty, nicely dressed, and it'll be hard to get anything else next time. Service by Clayton was lovely! So friendly and a wonderful addition to their team. The regular pepperoni pizza was delicious and also just so airy and enjoyable just like the gluten free crust. The favorite parts of the pizza were the cupped pepperoni and the crust where the cheese had melted and browned which added some extra crunch! I've never seen my kiddo eat pizza that fast before! Their pizza is such a treat, the service was great, I appreciated that they set expectations for time it'll take to make the pizzas, and the restaurant had a nice layout and vibe. My family calls Via 313 the "good pizza" and it is the only pizza we order these days. We were thrilled when they opened a location in Kyle. We usually order to go, as it's a movie night tradition. Our usual order is the The Omnivore for the parents, The Cadillac for my son, and bar style Cheese for my daughter. The Detroit style is similar to a deep dish, but square. We also get the Beet Salad and Arugula salad. Everything is fresh and hot when we pick it up. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but usually pretty cold, so bring a sweater! read more

Love finally living close to a Via again. I was spoiled living super close to the Oak Hill location for years. An Austin staple I've been so excited they were coming out to Kyle. The food was great, as always. We split come cheese sticks and a small 1/2 Cadillac, 1/2 Omnivore. We also got some of the dessert sticks and it was my first time having those. They actually hit the spot and were well done. So fantastic outing on a Sunday! Service was attentive and fast, which is a norm for Via. The interior is also new looking but still has the Via vibe of the Austin locations. My one complaint is I do wish it was at a different spot, the parking lot is too small for all the other businesses and it can be hard to find parking. read more

I have tried Detroit style pizza at different locations in different states (not Michigan) and never was fond of it. My husband's BF is from Detroit and 8 years ago he brought us to via 313 in SW Austin. I had the square personal pizza with half Rocket and half stooges and the beet salad. I've been a fan ever since. We dine here often especially with our friend. I've tried just about all their pizza now. You can't go wrong with anything you order. There is something special with their crust. It's thick but airy with a cheese crust that makes it soft and crispy. They also offer thin crust if that what you prefer. My sister and I will have dinner and drinks at their bar. I love the frozen drinks in summer time. I highly recommend this pizza and bar place. read more

There's something to be said about pizza, I'd argue America's number 1 comfort food and definitely the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles favorite! Oh, sure one can say hamburgers, mac & cheese or a PB&J. But since the 80s ordering a pizza and watching a movie was a marriage made in heaven, a marriage that has withstood the test of time and is stronger today. That said with so many options out there, how does a restaurant stand out? Well, I'm happy to say Via 313 has a few higher quality options, along with interesting options to show it's a true player for your heart. Located in the brand spanking new strip mall off of I-35 near Costco, Viva 313 is more than worthy, not only for your consideration but repeated business and I dare say your number 1 delivery option. That's right, the food is that good and it has enough options competitors don't have to satisfy the whole family, including those on a diet or if your name is Master Splinter. However good luck trying to eat a salad when the rest of the household is devouring the best delivery pizza you can find. I will admit I only picked up my pizza once and I'm happy to report the restaurant is very clean, being a brand-new building and the hostess was nice. Ok, lets move on to the focus of the "meat" of the review, shall we? If God forbid, pizza isn't your thing, the Anitpasto dish is outstanding. Crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, sharp cheddar cheese two meats all standout this dish with a great salad dressing. I'd ask for an extra dressing though as I found one little one didn't quiet get the job done. Otherwise, it was an outstanding effort. The meatballs were surprisingly good with decent flavor but moist smothered in a zesty sauce and topped with parmesan. The cheese bread was another hit that even Donatello would approve! Gooey cheese laid on perfectly cooked bread; crusty on one side while soft on the inside. If you're from New York like Raphael of the Turtles then Detroit style pizza maybe a mystery to you. Detroit style originates from the 1940s by a man who used thick square steel pans to create the pizza. The result is a super crunchy and oily crust which is unlike any other style. While Leonardo loves NY style which has a wide and thin crust that can be folded (also the NY water makes a huge difference) or Michelangelo's favorite which is a normal crust that most pizza places serve, I have found Detroit style is my favorite. While I did custom make mine with sausage, tomato, mushroom, olives and onions, I did order the Cadillac as well. This pizza is different, as the prosciutto (unsmoked bacon) is luxurious and salty, the Gorgonzola offers a nice blue cheese funk and the Fig is earthy yet sweet along with the balsamic glaze with is also sweet but gives it an acidic punch. This creation is very satisfying, a very different pizza to be sure so don't expect the normal when ordering it but for the adventurous this is a grand reward. I'd like to add the Detroit style does have a house marinara that has a slight kick but not overly powerful. Finally, the cinnamon stix are really good as well but if you've had them other places it's basically the same thing. Overall, I think the turtles would call this their favorite delivery options if they lived close by. I can't express how much life a scolding hot pan brings to pizza, making it a unique experience. Via 313 has very fresh food and I found all of it outstanding and scratched my many pizza itches. I promise if you try this place, you won't be disappointed. read more

I am so excited that we have a Via 313 in Kyle now!! I have been going to Via since they were just a food truck and now they have multiple locations it's amazing. They are known for their Detroit style pies which are mouth watering. We usually get the 500 which is pepperoni, jalapeño and pineapple but don't worry, there are plenty of other options for the pineapple on pizza haters! They also have thin crust if you aren't into thick crust and also have delicious salads and sides as well. And not to forget a great drink menu too, that espresso martini though!! And if you have a sweet tooth- the desserts are heavenly. This spot is great for the whole family or for a date night with its cool Austin vibes. Great service as well.
