Just got back home from picking up my online, carry out order. The order was for 3 pizzas, 2 Lg thin and 1Med (Thin). 1 Topping which I had a Free Pizza coupon for, because my son had earned it from a reward at school. When I arrived to checkout, the employee advised he couldn't get the coupon to work. He went to retrieve "his GM" from the back. The GM came up and told him "yeah it won't work cause it has to be an "original crust". So they wanted to charge me for the Medium one. I stated that nowhere on the coupon does it state it has to be Original Crust. They did not care. I advised them to remove the Medium from my order then and throw it away, which they did. It is completely ridiculous that a GM would handle this situation the way he did in front of 6 other customers. He should be fired! Poor representation for the Company for sure. On top of everything else, the pizzas were burned and not cut completely through. I stopped at the Pizza Hut on the way home to get my 3rd pizza and will just do business with them from now on!! read more

Pizza is good, just the driver left it on the porch in 40 degree weather and didn't knock or ring the bell. Luckily we happened to look outside on our porch, because it was 15 min earlier than expected. Also, I ordered the 222 on line which is 2 lg pizzas, and a 2 liter. So I assumed it automatically made my Dr Pepper the liter since I clicked on that special. But no, it made it a 20 oz unless u correct it which is deceiving. Otherwise, good food. I don't know why the rating is so low, but I don't recall one single problem that I have ever had with Gatti's San Marcos. I always enj the food. the reason I am leaving this review is Bc I had an issue using the app todayand I called the store. I never call the store, Jeff answered the phone and instead of giving excuses or attitude, he did his job and took my order very professionally. in a day and age that no one seems to want to do anything, Jeff executed his job perfectly. I love Mr Gattis Pizza as I grew up with it. With that said this particular Mr Gattis does not use delivery drivers but they use Door Dash. I recently ordered from Mr Gattis and my pizza never arrived. I contacted the store and the manager was very nice and I got the feeling this was not the first time this has happened. He refunded my order but not the delivery fee Door Dash tacks on. If your going to use take out the pizza is great but until they decide to not cut corners and hire delivery drivers than Dominoes will be getting my money. If you happen to get Door Dash driver Maria with a California phone number good luck getting your order as they have problems with her. read more

This establishment had horrible customer service and corporate does not care to correct it. The manager is allow to be rude to anyone who calls or goes to the store. When Daniel from corporate spoke with my mom he pretty much said it's her fault for the manager Stephanie's unprofessional attitude. Which my mom was only requesting a replacement from a burnt and cold pizza she received from them this past Saturday. Not to mention there reviews in Google and Facebook all point out that this manager is this way with so many other customers. Don't waste your time going to this place or getting food delivered from here. It's sad to see how quickly this place this place has gone downhill. I miss when we had wonderful service and ordered fresh hot pizza that was ready on time. We ordered today and the pizza was defiantly not 1/2 and 1/2. We received a pizza with 1/3rd topping (Buffalo chicken ) and 2/3rd's cheese with extra sauce. Confused since we had been charged for a specialty pizza we just went with it since the girl on the phone explained it probably was an error on their end. Fast forward we are on the way to pick up the remake and a manager calls being extremely rude and pushy explaining he's NOT remaking the pizza. He proceeded to cut us off when trying to express the concern with the dry pizza, lacking sauce on 1/3rd and 2/3rd cheese pizza. We left to the store and we went in and was given the go around. No one was willing to give names and the manager just stared at me passed me on to another manager or 2. Not sure who was actually the manager since no one seemed processional. Was pretty confused since over the phone we had been told they had no managers, then when asking to speak with a manager was told they have a shift lead then going in to be told many of them on the clock are managers. Talk about lie after lie. Young rude Hispanic guy finally agreed to make it the pizza and was completely disrespectful being a smart ass. We patiently waiting for the pizza as the staff in the back lacked professionalism, lacked proper safety and had only 1 staff member with a mask on who was NOT the cook. Didn't seem to make any sense but at this point nothing did. After finally receiving the pizza and checking it the pizza was evidently the SAME pizza with extra sauce added to the point that the sauce seemed through the box and the pizza was drenched in sauce. Clearly not what we ordered STILL but at this point we decided to go elsewhere. It's a shame to see all the young immature & irresponsible people over Gatti's Kyle. Safe to say from here on out we will be ordering elsewhere. I just wanted to make sure to leave a solid review until corporate furthers this investigation. Hopefully Gatti's Kyle will have new staff soon ( as usual ) but then again we had been told they are only " doing things the right way now"! I was excited to find out a Mr. Gatti's had opened up in Kyle. We just moved back after spending 6 years in the Midwest and I didn't even realize how much I missed the fantastic crust and pizza sauce from Gatti's until I ordered it. We have ordered twice now, once as pick up and the other as delivery. The pick up was smooth, pizza was ready in about 15 minutes, the staff was friendly, and the food was incredible! Delivery was an overall good experience. The wait time was an hour which I found to be a bit long for a five minute drive. They didn't state on the app or website that they use doordash vs their own delivery drivers. Had I known, I would have ordered through doordash because I wasn't able to rate the driver and I know they need those good ratings. We will definitely be ordering again. read more

I walked in around 7, there was a lady who had been waiting for more than 20 min when they said it would be 10 min. They gave me my 2 pizzas and 1 was wrong. I have to say for a NEW business arrival in Kyle, the effort to build a customer base seems weak. Wanted to order Wings - when they arrived - they looked puny. I know now. :( Next thing - be aware there is a delivery charge...I got hit with it after the fact. When I asked for a void-they said it would ten to 12 business days to hit bank. Never ever order delivery from this store. They use DoorDash as a delivery carrier. I get about 50% accuracy when they delivery. ALWAYS missing my drinks that I have pre-paid for. AND the worst part is because of COVID I have to put the tip on the online order. So, i'm tipping and they aren't delivering everything. THEN, when you call the delivery service after it's been dropped off, the number becomes invalid because they've already completed the delivery. When you call the store, you speak to a manager who tells you that they will credit your card back within 5 business days. THEY DO NOT CREDIT IT BACK. I called the store today to get an area manager or general manager. The girl who answered said "uh... hold on" and put me on hold for 11 minutes. THEN, they picked up and hung up. I immediately called back, "your call is now 1st in line" been on hold over 19 minutes while i'm FIRST in the queue? That means NOBODY is on the phone and ive been on hold 19 minutes This place, at minimum, should fire Door Dash, and everyone in the store needs to be re-trained. read more

The pizza was cold and we were missing part of the order, called the store and was put on hold for about 3-5 minutes after telling them we got cold food and were missing a salad. I hung up and called back and asked for the manager, which was Stephanie, who I guess had told me thank you for holding. I asked why she hung up on me and she said that I hung up on her. Lol. I am not arguing with this lady, just tell me how you are going to fix it. With all her attitude she tells me that she can remake the food, but I will have to come pick it up. had a bad experience with this location, but gave it another try. Huge mistake! After waiting over an hour for my pizza to be delivered - I called to check. They couldn't find my order, no - they couldn't make my order because the phone number was wrong ~no, they couldn't get a driver so they didn't make it -- one excuse after another - no offer to make things right, they just continued to argue when their stories didn't make any sense. Told them my husband was on his way to pick it up -- they said they would make it. He arrives -- no pizzas made. They continued to say something about a number entered wrong , yet the girl recited my number perfectly. They told my husband they would refund it and make the pizzas -- he stepped out and they locked the door behind him! No pizza - no refund ~ no adults on duty tonight!! However they use Doordash to deliver and The delivery person brought a Dr.Pepper rather then a Diet Dr.Pepper even though the receipt clear shows I ordered Diet. Tonight we ordered 3 pizzas. Two of the pizzas delivered were correct. The third pizza had extras on it that we will not eat. We called the store and they were nice to send us a new pizza. When that one arrived it was wrong again! We called again and told them but the manager Linda said she looked at it before it left the store and that we need to call tomorrow to speak to someone higher and that she did not believe us. We then went to the store to show them both wrong pizzas and they said they can't do anything about it because they already sent a free pizza out. So now we didn't get to eat and Linda would not do anything to help us. We were told to call and talk to Jason tomorrow but wouldn't give us the number to call. read more

Ordered pizza's and forgot to order ranch so I call back and I was told since the order was submitted online I'd have to cancel the order and resubmit a new order to add ranch dressing on. Then I'd be charged for the first order then have to be charged again just to add ranch and then be refunded in 7-10 business days for the "canceled" order. Dumbest thing ever. I think it's ok. I don't think it's in the same realm as papa murphy's. I would even say it's below domino's or papa johns. I got an XL, which in today's pizza world equates to 16". The pizza was ready when I got there and I was able to order online more easily than dominos. I probably won't return, i'd take most other pizzas over it. I tried to place an order online this weekend and errors kept popping up so I called in my order and gave my CC over the phone. After an hour I called and asked how long it would be and was told they don't have my order. I said I gave my CC number and he said to hold and I was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally, someone came back to the phone and said he didn't know what was going on because the door dasher said they were there 4 minutes ago but he didn't see anyone so she must be sitting in the car. I ask how long my pizza had just been sitting there and he said he has no idea. "Maybe 25 minutes?" So you don't know and it's just sitting there??? He was pretty rude and told me how busy they are. I understand that it can take an hour but don't make my pizza if it's just gonna sit there for another 30 mins or so. Finally, I got a notice that the door dasher picked it up and it was promptly delivered after that. The wings and pepperoni pizza were ice cold and at least 3 of the slices had zero cheese on them. Pizza was great BUT the service wasn't. I ordered about 10 pizzas for my daughters party. It was for delivery and when they delivered they forgot to send the 2 orders of ranch I ordered, so I called them and told them they forgot to send the ranch. He gave me two options.. for me to leave the party I'm hosting to grab the ranch (which i thought you was not a best answer to give a customer who is hosting a party) or to get a refund. Of course i can't leave the party or send my guest to grab it so I took the refund. EXCEPT I still haven't received the refund for the ranch. And I had her party 2 weeks ago now and still nothing. I'm not complaining about the 4 bucks I was told I'd get back but complaining that the fact that there is lack of customer service. If your a manager and you say your going to do something at least keep your word. That's what matters and that is what keeps a customer coming back. read more
